Open for two years under this new ownership, Glenn’s has friendly service and delicious homemade food. We particularly like the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Another great meal was pizza topped with homemade sausages. Oh baby was that great. Small selection of pantry items. Oddly large selection of liquor. Great décor for a small shop. Our kids love the fishtank.

Actually known as Glenn’s Hinsdale General Store (this may just be due to new ownership), I stopped in here to get a quick bite to eat. While they do have various sundry items that one would expect to find in a general store, they also have a deli and what appears to be a small liquor selection as well. I decided to order a deli sandwich, in which one has their choice of bread (like a sub roll or hard roll, for instance), meat and toppings. I ordered a roast beef sandwich on a hard roll, and the portion was certainly big, probably enough to cut in half and have two servings’ worth. I’m definitely stopping by if I’m in the area again.
