Starbucks

Quite possibly the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been in. Slow, chaotic, and completely unorganized. Hot food was cold, the iced coffee was made like crap. Gave this place two tries on two different days and each was a disappointment.

a classic suburban downtown Starbucks. the service and crowd was good. Many kids from the neighborhood with families that give them big allowances to fix their caffeine fix frequent this lace on warm weekends. Hinsdale is still one of the best burbs and downtowns in DuPage and this Starbucks fits right in

Do not go near here at 3pm. 100 12 – 14 year old school kids take over the place! Crazy!

I don’t write many negative reviews, but this is the WORST Starbucks in America. If there are 3 customers and 5 employees working, it still takes them 15 minutes to pour a cup of coffee. It’s unbelievable how lazy and indifferent the employees are at this location. And don’t even think about getting an espresso drink because they will screw it up without fail.
I have stopped drinking Starbucks altogether, largely as a result of my disgust for the downtown Hinsdale store closest to my home, but for those of you still addicted I suggest you at least go to Western Springs, Clarendon, or the Whole Foods location.

This is a well managed Starbucks with friendly Baristas that always make my drink just right! I think the layout is sometimes an issue during busy hours. There are often people running into each other or tripping over one another. But I have always been very pleased with the service!

I asked for a Cold Brew iced coffee with cream and classic syrup. First, the barista, young girl with glasses, served two other people who came after me. Then I saw that she did not add the cream, so I told her that I had asked for cream. She just said it’s over there. A bit annoying since coffee was filled to the brim, so no room for cream. I asked her to do it. I’m usually not a difficult customer, but every other Starbucks I’ve been to happily added the cream and syrup, which in the case of the Cold Brew makes a big difference making it a richer taste and worth the extra money. She just twirled my cup and gave it to me. Unfortunately I did not taste it until I got home. Tasted just like a regular watery iced coffee. I’ve had Cold Brew often in the last few weeks and this was a waste of money. I will not go back to this Starbucks when she is there. She must be new, more like a machine and unfriendly. BTW she worked May 7^th at around 11:30am. Cold Brew at Jewel on Ogden and Cass has been the best so far!

I’ve been to my fair share of starbucks in my time… and I just wanted to give this one a very nice shout out. The employees are always incredible. I have never come across one who is not chipper and ready for action. It is usually pretty crowded, but other than that the service and staff deserve a pat on the back. Not to mention I had the best soy caramel macchiato ever made for me!

Slowest Starbucks I have been in for a long time. 8 minutes plus for an iced tea. Not a care in the world from the staff behind the counter. Not a morning rush and it it’s a good thing I would’ve been in there 20minutes. And to top it off my drink was the wrong size.

Good space; good Wifi; sometimes slow during morning commute with only one worker manning the registers, but otherwise good

Greatest staff I’ve ever had at a starbucks. This one is right by my work, so I come in 15 minutes before they close, but they’ve never complained. Always friendly, helpful and accurate.
Ambiance is okay. Seating can be awkward sometimes. Music choice is on point and the place is super super clean.
I would recommend studying or reading at this starbucks. They have one huge table that works perfect for big groups. Also comfy chairs.

Hot chocolate for the drive north. And its been a couple of visits to see this place gets busy.

One of the hardest working starbucks in the western suburbs. Kim, the manager, somehow maintains a constant poise and grace. Always sensitive to customer concerns and satisfaction. It is obvious that she is proud of her store, and her position.

Absolutely THE best starbucks I’ve been to… As huge of a chain as Starbucks is, this one is able to achieve the feel of a friendly neighborhoo community coffeeshop. Filled with regulars, staff that is friendly and attentive, this starbucks has great management and is always clean and tidy. Love that the space is comfy and cozy… baristas quickly remember your orders + also remember you by name… love it!

I used to come here every day when I took the Metra into work. It’s a nice store, very spacious, and the staff is super friendly and knows what you want before you even order it. I approve.

First off, I am a wannabe resident of the village of Hinsdale in all regards. This starbucks location meets and almost exceeds all standards brought on by it’s corporation.
This place is fun for the people watching and eavesdropping. Don’t act like you don’t do it too. Some times I think if Bravo did a real housewives of Chicago; this is where it would be located.
