I like the people, price and service at Zazu every time. Convenient and they do good cuts from friendly staff.

Stylish salon and good haircut. According to Zazu’s website a classic hair cut is $ 15, and a signature cut is $ 25 which includes scalp treatment, hot towel, and massage. I only got a haircut and was charged $ 25. Either update your website or charge the correct amount for services provided.

Third time getting my hair cut and definitely pleased. Both Frankie and Julie have cut my hair and left me feeling good and confident. Nice environment with sports on the XL flat screen, Pandora streaming Led Zeppelin, and a tingling minty shampoo & condition(before or after) your cut. Great service for $ 5~10 more than the old — school barbershop a block away make this chore a pleasure. Zazu Men is tops on my list.

Give good haircuts. Shampoo before and after. But they didn’t honor the check in discount and gave a lame excuse for it!

My husband went here on my recommendation-Julie gave him an OK haircut and awful«grey color blending». It is all one color, looks very artificial and is the wrong tone. He told her he wanted some of the grey to show so that it looked natural-well it is horrible and he left a message tonight he wants it fixed pronto. He is ashamed to be seen. His barber does a far better job at a fraction of the price. She was also vague on what product was used«Revlon number 5»??? I don’t think they have experienced colorists –certainly not for men. BAD, BAD news! 2nd response after salon promptly returned call and sent him to their other salon. Angelina tried her best to rectify the situation at the«flag ship» Hinsdale salon. It is a bit better(lots of clarifying shampoo and a toner) but because it is permanent hair color it will have to grow out. Julie didn’t ask about permanent or semi/Demi color next — she just did it. Husband had salt and pepper hair and wanted more«pepper» so the grey would be more blended. His eyebrows and hair on arms is charcoal not auburn brown. Most«older» men in ads(both fashion and hair color) for men want what I described– not an artificial one color that they never had in their life. It was later confirmed that the permanent l’Oreal color used was not one formulated for greying men although the salon has such a product and could have used it. Julie’s haircut was very good but she needs more training and experience as a colorist-especially with men. Angelina seemed very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. We appreciate all of her efforts but she was limited by the previous application of permanent color.

Gave it a try instead of the regular Zazu. Got a bad haircut unfortunately. I don’t think the woman who cut my hair was used to cutting men’s hair as she did a poor job on the neckline even after I asked her to fix it. Maybe it was just a bad day…
