Walmart Supercenter

It irks me that I even had to give this store 1 star. It is so poorly managed and the customer service is by far and away the very worst that I have experienced. Walmart gives their store managers ENTIRELY too much power. They claim to be a price match leader but twice now the store manager, Jowanna, has refused to honor matches for me, even though every policy stipulation was followed and the purchase was totally legit, as even confirmed by Brittany with Walmart Corporate customer service for this latest incident; Jowanna and Ryan (another salaried employee) spoke to me disparagingly and with utter disrespect. They claim they could not match a price because it was a «promotion» and the item was priced that low to get people into their store. This is the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard. All advertising is promotional in nature and intended to draw in customers. Walmart’s customer service is ranked the lowest retailer in the nation; Walmart claims to be the price match leader, however it seems more like they’re the leader in price match failing. Walmart’s ratings will continue to decline until employees are better trained, discriminatory policies are changed and they get store managers in who have a decent grasp on how promotions and increasing customer base works. I encourage everyone to video and audio record their interactions with employees and submit all evidence to corporate as well as all over social media.

I love this store early in the morning but after dark it gets a little creepy but that’s due to the customers. I have been a long time customer only because it’s the closest one to my house. Some of the cashiers are just terrible! The one guy customer service manager shouldn’t be aloud on a register. You just don’t put can food on top of eggs and you don’t put bread in a bag with bottles of stuff like ketchup and mayo. What kind of customer service manager does that? And the lady going around following people is creepy. Makes you feel like a thief even when you’re just shopping. I was taking my son’s Christmas layaway box out to the car so I could have room in the cart to continue shopping and there She was outside watching me. But there are some good employees… Lynn (well they changed her name tag to her first name, Mary) she’s a cashier and she’s just awesome and just loves my son, Beverly (cashier) she’s the sweetest, I don’t know their names but 2 women in the deli department. As soon as they see my son coming they know he’s going to want some popcorn chicken and they’re getting it ready. They love hearing his knock knock jokes. Then there’s Amy in toys. She’s so sweet and always drops everything to give you the best customer service! Bo, the cart pusher is awesome. He’s always there to help when my mom isn’t able to find a riding cart. But other than those few good seeds the place is just ok.

Since I last reviewed this Walmart 2 years ago, I have to admit I have seen some improvement. They have improved their customer service and their stocking issues — although stocking issues still seem to be an issue. There is always a gentleman at the front door to hand me a buggy which is a clear indication of «effort». Also I can see where improvements have been made but they have a long way to go.

This store needs to do something about employees and customers smoking at the front doors! I should not have to subject my children or myself to their disgusting cancerous cloud to enter a store. Especially one that contains my pharmacy. I have talked with mangers about this and I feel like they are just blowing me off.

Not my favorite walmart store, but not the worst. It’s definitely not a place I would feel comfortable going alone at night. Has. Very creepy vibe with a lot of strange people lingering around. But it’s a large walmart store and they have everything I need in one place.

All Walmarts are basically the same, but there are several different layouts. Not all Walmarts look alike. In my opinion, the layout of this Walmart is discombobulated, (if that is a word) and therefore, somewhat unappealing. What I do like about this Walmart is their bakery section. When it is time for me to buy cupcakes for my children’s classes, I always find a great variety to choose from at this location. Other than that, if I can help it, I will find another Walmart that is not so backwards.

I avoid this Walmart unless it is an absolute emergency. Store is dirty, long lines at register with too few cashiers. Employees talking with each other and no assistance in sight. I prefer to shop at the store on Dallas Hwy if I must go to Walmart.

Walmarts across the country have one thing in common, go only if you absolutely have to. This one is no different. I went to get my eye’s examined and got good service from the eye folks. I did see a few that would make the people of walmart page proud.
