Waffle House

whats not to like about smother, covered, diced, chunked, peppered, capped, topped and country?!!
been going to WH since i was in HS… it’s cheap and tasty. its like the walmart of breakfast places

Coming here was a bad mistake, never again. Waited for nearly 20min before our food got to us. When it arrived it was cold, cold bacon, cold eggs, cold everything. Be wary of this place. The so called smothered hash browns an cheese is just hash browns with a square cheese slice on top. and they charge you an extra dollar or so for this, disgusting.
I’m not saying don’t go to waffle house in general, just don’t go to this one.

I am sitting here freezing my butt off! Each time I come in its almost unbearable but today I couldn’t finish eating– and I don’t normally get cold!

Mindy wasn’t our waitress, but she was the cook and she checked us out at the cash register. She
talks & gives orders to her staff too loud. I won’t go back because when I filled out my credit card slip, I didn’t write my tip in, I just added it into the total. She snatched it, and made the most dramatic scene, because she had to use the calculator sitting conveniently next to her to calculate the tip she didn’t even deserve. I’m a waitress, so I over tipped even though it wasn’t the best service. It was so rude and dramatic, I almost asked for the slip back so I could change it to $ 0, but I didn’t feel like causing a scene. Food was a really good though.

I always love this place, I will always be coming back for the pecan waffle and egg sandwich

The waitress I had was nice. Though while she was trying to take my order the cook kept yelling at her that she had an order up. She kept saying she would be there in a second, but he kept yelling.
The place was packed, so the staff was trying to wipe the tables down, help customers and run the registe as fast as possible with only two waitress working.
The food was really good! I’ve been to quite a few Waffle Houses where the food sucked, but I’ll come back to this one. :)

It cracks me up the amount of drama of their lives I heard I could write a mini series book or soap opera with the amount I’ve heard. Days of Our Waffel House Lives… some of the staff on point, greet you, smile, don’t talk about their personal business in a loud manner, and keep the drama and additudes down… as for the other 50% not so much. I can understand a little stress when its busy and it shows but when its not even work related and whining out loud so all including customers can here (even when your trying not to) its ridiculous! Some are super slow, I don’t expect it to be super speedy fast but one could try to act and attempt that your tying to attend to a person. The fact is when you are clearly not serving or doing something that has your hands physical full and busy the LEAST you could do is acknoledged the person, place the silver wear down and get waters at least and THE MENU so people are not staring in the wind waiting twityling their thumbs! Seriously?! Its not rocket science. Whats sad is you see other employees getting fustrated with the others that are slacking or clueless! Some of the staff is really cool the others, not so much. At times I wonder if the supervisor or manager is there, because if I saw my team doing that there would be some changes and additude adjustments ASAP!
…oh yeah and the breakfast at least cooked by the chefs are good. :)
I would rate this 5 star had 50% of the staff wasn’t mediocre in there duties

Very dirty. Bar fly looking and acting staff. :(
