My fav place for Chinese take-​out! I usually stop in and order on my way home from the mall or something. They are super fast. 10 minute wait if that. And I order so much food. Best crab rangoon.

This has been by far the most consistent Chinese restaurant I’ve experienced. Great service and excellent food. I recommend to everyone to give this place a shot.

My family and I have enjoyed their Delicious food for more than 6+years. Everything they prepare for us has been Excellent. Their Customer Service is Great, Dining in or Delivery. Prices are Fair market.

Just tried this place a week ago and have been back twice. Love the egg rolls and the Hunan Chicken! Staff is very curteous snd friendly. My new favorite!

just ordered the Singapore Mei Fun, Chicken Fried Rice (green onions only), the Egg Rolls, and a order of Crab Rangoon… must say it was all good… I would suggest next time I add more onions to my rice and have them fry my egg rolls little longer, but other than that I loved the food and delivery service. plus we got three sweet biscuits for free with are order. this will be my new Chinese restaurant for now on.

Rice Garden is a great place to enjoy something delicious! I’ve been a loyal customer for about 7 years! Customer service is great, and very fast delivery service! Delivery range is pretty good too! No other choice for me when it comes down to enjoying delicious Chinese cuisine!

Great food. The orange chicken is very good and the hot and sour soup is also very good. There is not too much bad about this place.

Just like the other reviews. It is the best place for Chinese food in Hobart area. Priced very reasonably for the quality of food. The orange chicken and their fried rice are the best! Highly recommend.

Not bad, but they don’t carry pan fried noodles. To me that is important, and the other 3 local Chinese places do.

Food was o.k. But the taste was not as good as Wing Wa in Miller. The pork fried rice looked pre made and scooped with a ice cream scooper. The egg roll was dry and not sure what was in it. If you don’t know what good Chinese

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the Hobart-​area. I found this place on Unilocal after being constantly disappointed in the available options of quality Chinese food in Hobart. The reviews looked good, so my hubby and I decided to try them for dinner. We walked in and were promptly greeted and told we could be seated anywhere if we were eating there. Table service at a Chinese restaurant: 1 star. A minute or so later, she was at our table asking for our drink order and giving us menus. We both ordered General Tso Chicken dinner specials (entrée, pork fried rice, egg roll), and pops (I substituted my pork fried rice for beef, which was just a small charge more). The server was very friendly and attentive, even though she was the only person working the counter, the place was full, and she was also taking walk-​in orders: 2 stars. The food came out steaming-​hot and smelling amazing, and the egg rolls came with a side of homemade sweet & sour sauce: 3 stars. The General Tso chicken was delicious: it was perfectly breaded and cooked, it was all white-​meat chicken, and had just a little bit of a spicy kick (as it should). The beef fried rice was also delicious and had a great flavor. The egg roll was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Great flavor and consistency. There was not any shrimp in the egg roll, which I was very happy about, as I don’t eat seafood. As far as take-​out Chinese restaurants go, this one definitely earned it’s 5-​stars: great service and great food, with the bonus that they have table service and also deliver to my house (which I found out later). I’m a happy customer who will definitely be back.

One of our favorites! The owners are pleasant and we’ve watched their children grow! Food is amazing! Always hot and fresh! Huge portions, I always have some to take home! Rice is perfect and soup is fabulous!!! Love it!

I’ve yet to receive bad service here. I give the food 3 stars but the service brings it to an overall 4. Every time I order from here my food arrives within 15 min and they are very flexible on their substitutions and exclusions and as far as dining in the restaurant, very very clean, very quick, very consistent and polite. Secondly — big fan. Reasonable pricing. Great food. Be sure to ask what sort of eggroll you’re getting, I ordered one and didn’t ask and it was shrimp. Usually get the pepper steak and the pork fried rice. Can’t go wrong!

Really good food here served hot and fast. The dining room has maybe 14 tables and you can expect the regular Chinese restaurant menu.

We usually eat in at this place. Even when they are crowded inside and the phone is ringing off the hook for carry-​out, the service is quick and efficient. The portions are large and everything is brought out hot and freshly-​cooked. Eating in, you get to enjoy real dishes and silverware. The fried dumpling appetizer is flavorful and nicely crisp on the outside. I always enjoy the hot and sour soup. It is not gloppy like a lot of other Chinese places. Their fried rice is also a little better than most places. Definitely a higher quality Chinese food experience.

I live in Hobart and this is my favorite place to get Chinese takeout. My boyfriend and I get it about twice a month. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The prices are reasonable and I always have leftovers. ** we always get the kung pao chicken and chicken with broccoli dinners.

I’ve only ordered delivery from Rice Garden, so I cannot rate the restaurant.
We’ve pretty much sampled the whole menu from here, and that’s saying something. There’s over 100 items on it.
I’ve recently become hooked on the House Special Egg Foo Young, which has a generous serving of three patties loaded with all the meats — expecially shrimp.
Other favorites of mine are the Imperial Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Singapore Mei Fun.
Although I’ve never had a bad dish from them, they tend to taste a little repetitive.
Their delivery is always super fast and must be a wide area, as we live a good distance away. Plus, the dinners come in a nifty reusable plastic containers with lids.
Staff is friendly and regularly throw in extras (egg rolls, crab rangoon, sweet biscuits).
Prices are as to be expected. Dinners fall around the $ 7 range and are very filling.
