The place is absolutely charming. I enjoyed reading the hilarious signs they put up all over the place! I ordered the Chicken Marsala and it would have been perfect if only my chicken was cooked.

Another awesome Sunday at Harry’s! Don’t be scared by the crowd, go sit at the back bar and enjoy the music and most of all Al the bartender. Had delicious apple pie stuffed pancakes!

Such a wonderful little spot! Sometimes simplicity is what makes for a successful dining experience. This is what you get here. *I started to write this review a month ago and just realized I never finished! So bare with me!* I loved my fresh fruit because it was FRESH and plentiful! Our server was extremely pleasant and my boyfriends meal was awesome!

Been going here for 30 years with my Mom and set-dad that spend winters at JIC. Harry the proprietor treats my Dad like the king that he is… food is always spot on, servers are warm and hospitable, prices are great. It is the perfect no-nonsense, casual spot for any meal. The signs are funny and my kids love the gator burger and the gift shop.

Had breakfast there this morning, excellent food and service. Fun place with lots of entertaining signs to read… good place to see if you need to have your prescription checked. Awesome sit down breakfast, and I’m told the lunch and dinner menus are great too. I’ll be back on my next visit to Hobe Sound for sure!

WE are locals to Martin County and had some errands nearby so we stopped in for breakfast. We eat out a lot. We were met with disappointment with burnt on one side and undercooked on the other pancakes and stale, weak coffee. The omelet was tasty, but it did not pair well with the cold home fries. We sat by the window, which was full of dust and bugs. The ladies bathroom was disgusting. LIke, so disgusting, I can’t even describe it without wanting to vomit. They did hear our complaints and comped our meals but in no way seemed concerned about our food being ill-prepared. Not likely to return. We will stick with what we know. Surprisingly, all the locals we talked to at the gym later in the morning, referred to Harry and the Natives as one of their favorite spots.

We enjoy coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We love coming here for dinner about once a week and have not been disappointed yet! Their” lemon crumb baked cod” is my husband’s favorite. I like their«ribeye with gorgonzola and grilled onions», shrimp quesadilla, or the festive” turkey dinner”. Harry’s have nightly specials which are awesome. Save room for dessert-their pies are home baked and outstanding!

I love Harry n the Natives. I work next door so it’s ideal to take clients to lunch. My favorite is the chicken quesadilla. And the key lime pie.

The setting is very relaxing and beachy! Love the atmosphere. The service lacked and wasn’t impressed with the food. We got the cheese sticks, it was 4 large blocks of cheese with a thick breading, definitely wouldn’t order again. The Gator Burger was ok, wouldn’t order that again. I may try it again if I happened to be in the area and didn’t want fast food.

Fast take out service. The food was fresh and the order was filled perfectly. We ordered a large salad and scoop of tuna and the club sandwich with the cucumber salad. Everything was delicious!!!

Sure the ambience is small town chic and that’s got charm. The service, though, was laughable. Waitress exasperated with only 8 customers in the whole joint. She gets huffy when we order drinks and don’t know what we want to eat. Oh wait, please, this menu is chock full of unhealthy fried crap that I can’t decide. I am a HUGE fan of local spots, but only when they offer the friendly like-I-know you service, homemade treats, and fresh local produce or, in this case, fish. Harry has none of these and the natives should RUNAWAY.

I had the gator burger and would have posted a picture but after the first bite I completely forgot. The place was fantastic and even has a little gift shop with some fun stuff in it. I highly recommend eating here.

I can’t understand all of the great reviews:-/ I loved this place 3 years ago but something hapened and the food is not as fresh and good as it was. Every time I gave this place a chance hoping their service got better and had to stop, every time disappointed. I hope thei read this review and bring back the quality they had few years ago.

A solid bit of south Florida culture for over 50 years. Once known as a gas station, then as a breakfast & lunch joint and now serving breakfast, lunch and dinners, with a full liquor license, Harry has been a Hobe Sound staple for over 50 years.(And I’ve been darkening their door for over 35 of those years). Sticking to mostly traditional«American» favorites, Harry’s is a solid performer any time they are open. With a very laid back staff and off beat décor that meld together perfectly with their quirky menu descriptions. There is no pretension here, Harry’s is the ultimate in WYSIWYG(what you see is what you get) dining. Service is always comfortable. Never pushy, always helpful(try asking for«monkey faced pancakes» for diners under 7) that used to be a staple here ! Hopefully, I’ll still be a customer in another 35 years.

visited family in the area and they took us here because they said it is «the local place to go» The food was good, the drinks were good, the price was good. We went a few times during our stay and it was always busy. The live music at night was a good touch. The staff was friendly. It seemed like a nice local place to hang out, the only thing that is keeping me from the fourth star is that it isn’t really a spot I would recommend for my age group(under 25). Mostly an older crowd both times I visited.

Well first off it is so nice to sit in to a place that shows Fox News. This is the most conservative restaurants I have ever been into. I love the Obama omelette. And all the pun intended on the menus. This is a family owned business. Who has a concern for the pulse of our country in the direction that it’s heading and they are not afraid to show that. I’m sure the IRS audits them every single year. They could probably be comparable to a tea party group. , my favorite is the spinach egg Benedict with a side of bacon. And by the way they have some pretty good coffee too.

After about a million recommendations to come here, my family finally stopped in for breakfast this past Sunday. We arrived pretty late at about 11:45am and most people were finishing up, so we had no problem getting a table for 6. The place is so cute and has some hilarious signs all over the walls and ceilings. I had the surfer girl(egg whites, spinach, mushroom, cheese omelette) and it was delicious. My father in law had the bananas fosters french toast and was kind enough to let me try… it was divine! My mother in law loved the coconut pancakes(they were huge), and my parents enjoyed the quiche of the day and eggs benedict. This is a fabulous little place in the heart of Hobe Sound and I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are passing through or nearby. I hear their lunch and dinner are great too, so we will have venture up there again on a non-Sunday!
