George McQuilkin, MD

George is a great and professional doctor. He delivered all 3 of my kids. The only reason why I stopped seeing him was because of his location. Hoboken just does not have parking but are quick to give tickets. It’s hard to wait when you know your time is about to expire. And being next to Carlos’ bakery makes a bad situation worse. It broke my heart to go elsewhere for more convenience.

Dr. McQuilkin has not only cared for both of my pregnancies, delivered me 2 healthy babies, but he also delivered me and all of my siblings! He is an amazing and caring doctor. I love his staff, which has been the same for years basically, and their location is great. Many may complain because he is a VERY popular doctor, because he has a proven track record and has 30+ years experience, and there is often a wait during visits. Any recurring patient would know that the wait is worth it, and I know because any time I have tried other doctors for any reason I regret it and I come back to Dr. McQuilkin.
I now live miles away in GA, but I still travel up to NJ for every appointment or any necessary procedures. I tried to transition and use other doctors locally, but have been misdiagnosed and I have just never found a doctor as knowledgable and any who use as many preventive methods as Dr. McQuilkin does. I refer him to any and every woman, no matter your age, no matter your health history, and especially for pregnancy. Anything worth having is worth waiting for and Dr. McQuilkin’s service, care, and professionalism is TOP NOTCH!!!

I cannot in good faith recommend Dr. McQuilkin. While he seems like a kind man, I did not have a good experience. I left the office bleeding after a routine pap smear. When I called the office two times to have the doctor call me to explain this, no one got back to me. Either he didn’t get the messages, forgot to call me or didn’t want to explain, none of which left a good impression. Also, he ordered a pelvic ultrasound, because he diagnosed me as having an enlarged uterus. I went to another doctor after this to have him review the results. I learned that I didn’t have an enlarged uterus, but, instead, just normal fibroids. His office never called to share these results.

Dr. McQuilkin has been my gyn for almost 20 years. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found him. He has guided me through good and bad circumstances with the most assuring smile in the tri state area. The office is always clean and centrally located. His staff has always been extremely friendly and welcoming. If you can get yourself an appointment with him, consider yourself lucky and keep him around as long as possible!
