Ordered delivery at around 1:30AM, it is now almost 4AM… I called the place about an hour ago(3AM) was told that the delivery driver came, rang the doorbell, called me and texted me… My phone has been in my hand the entire time. Liars! Called the place up and was pretty much told to fuck off. Such a shitty attitude, like he’s doing me a favor by taking my money, and for 2 sandwiches + tip nearly $ 30… Asked the employee for his name and he avoided the question about 5 times, finally got it out of him, I’ll be paying them a visit tomorrow and talking to the owner or manager. Fuck this place, never ordering from then again. I should’ve looked up the reviews on here before ordering in the first place, lesson learned.

If I could give this god awful smelly place a zero(or a piece of turd) for a review I would. This place fucking blows. I’m convinced the only reason they’re still in business is because it’s the only spot that’s open when the drunks start piling out of Northern Soul. $ 7 for a grilled chicken wrap with a tiny piece of chicken inside an extra large wrap. $ 8 for tuna on sliced bread. And the smell. Wtf. Can someone please buy and take over this place? The owner is just sitting there making piles of money with that shit eatin grin of his.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have lived across the street from this place for four years. Everything you could imagine about this place is wrong. Except for maybe the nice guy at the counter every now and then. The prices are almost comical — just look through the menu, if that is what they charge you. Sometimes I wonder if the target market of this deli is anyone leaving the bar across the street at 3am or a stoner who would pay any amount of money for a bag of combos. It’s like they will rip you off and keep a straight face about it. I have given this place so many second chances.

Raf Deli offers a $ 2.99 any breakfast + coffee special between 7AM-10AM. It should be called«you get what you pay for breakfast sandwich». Here’s the breakdown: Kaiser Roll(round roll) was not fresh and chewed liked day old bread. Only one egg on the sandwich leaves a lot to desire. Cheese was okay, but hey… it’s American cheese… how bad could it be… To make matters worse… they did not have coffee to offer me but still charged the same price. I was offered tea but I’ll leave that for the Brits. I wanted my morning coffee.

Ordered through seamless — called twice looking for my order, stated it was on the way en route. Called a third time, apologized that they were not truthful and that they were busy. Do not order from here… Be warned… Just received my order everything was cold and tasted like plastic… Never eat there… trust me it is a terrible decision… If I had a choice between rocks and this place; I’d choose broken glass…

Terrible, Over priced Food. The food doesn’t taste fresh. The delivery is terrible. I ordered 3 sandwiches, and they only delivered 2. Come on. $ 20 with $ 3 delivery fee for 2 breakfast sandwich? They must be out of their mind. I will never order from them again.

Pros: good food, fairly cheap, very friendly staff. Cons: slow making food, hard to understand accent. I like this place. The food is actually surprisingly good for such a dingy looking exterior. I go here at least once a week and I haven’t had a bad sandwich yet. Just don’t expect it right Away. They tend to take their time making a meal but if you have 10 min then it’s not a huge deal. Huge drink selection and very friendly staff. 4⁄5.

I was going to be a regular customer, until today. I placed an order, it came out to $ 39. But then I asked for a coconut water which is $ 6.50, bringing the total to $ 45.50. The delivery guy comes, I give him $ 48. He leaves, I noticed there is no coconut water, so I call him to say there’s no coconut water, and he says it doesn’t matter because I gave him $ 37, I said no I gave u $ 48. What a coincidence huh? He doesn’t give me the coconut water and miraculously I happened to not have paid for it. Please. He knows he’s lying, because if I gave him $ 37 I would have shorted him and he would have wanted to come back for the rest of the money. This guy is a scumbag.

Love the owner who’s there during the day, but one of the night guys tried to feel me up. This is a problem since I work weird hours and they’re the only people in my neighborhood open late. Finally let one of the other guys know what happened the other day and went in tonight for a sandwich and the guy(same one who felt me up) served me RAW Taylor ham been though my boss(who I felt I had to bring for safety’s sake) and I were happily chatting outside while waiting. It’s really a shame, but the guy is a total sketch ball. Ladies beware.

This one is gonna hurt me a little since I live by and find the guys here to be very friendly and nice, but… Let’s start by saying that this is a great little spot for those late night cravings and maybe the occasional cup of coffee on the go but that is really it. I have visited this store many many times. On one of those times I got a salad(my regular salad spot was closed). I felt sooo cheated! The lettuce wasn’t fresh at all and the amount of salad was way to little for the price. So never again. The other day my friend and I didn’t feel like walking much and got sandwiches here after a long night of dancing. So, I ordered the mozzarella sandwich. I never heard of any mozzarella sandwich with mayo but this one had mayo. I was so hungry I ate half of it. Now, I can’t remember if he asked me to put mayo or not, neither I remember my response to that. Either way, WHOPUTSMAYOIN A MOZZARELLASANDWICH?! Finally… Not good for sandwiches but great for last minute stuff. Also, to end on a high note, their service is good and the staff is super friendly!

Definitely not the best place to grab a sandwich. After few hours of dancing we were too tired to walk to Washington st to grab food so we decided to try this deli for sandwiches. The guy behind the counter was friendly. We ordered three sanwdiches two with turkey and one with tuna. So those 3 sandwiches were $ 26 bucks this is a complete jacked up price. Also the sandwiches were just ok. Definitely an overpriced deli, take my advice walk to washington st. There are couple places to eat there. Avoid this place.

The guy who works during the day is super friendly, eager to please. One major problem — the deli is PLAGUED with insects all over the deli meats and cheeses. FALLBACKKKK!

i came here with the groupon now deal for bagels and cream cheese. I actually really liked it. The cream cheese to bagel ratio was great. I cant speak for the deli sandwiches but I was happy with my breakfast. *Enjoy*

This place is on the same block as my apartment. I was originally excited for it to open, but the second I walked in was when the excitement stopped. The store is curiously stocked(if you want a limitless supply of Ragu this place is for you). I got ice cream there once, and it was clearly melted and re-frozen — had freezer burn to boot. The obnoxious, flashing red light in the front of the ‘deli’ will show you how desperate for business ownership is. ONEPOSITIVE about this place: It’s right next to the best mini-mart in Hoboken, Prime Place Convenience on 1st and Madison.

This place is ridiculously slow & very light on the meat. I was here a week ago & waited a long time(even though there was no one else there) for an okay sandwich. I figured I’d give them a second chance, but it was the last. I ordered 2 sandwiches online, waited 15 minutes and headed over. When I got there, the guy hadn’t started making my order yet even though again, no one was there. After another 10 minute wait I finally got my order, but when I got home I realized there were no onions on my sandwich like I requested & there was barely any meat. I will not be giving them a 3rd chance.

I walk by Raf deli on my way to and from work everyday. Since I head to the light rail and not the Path my food and coffee options in the morning are grim. I had their sandwiches and coffee here several times and have been disappointed each time I have. There are too many WAY better delis in the area than to have a terrible sandwich from here. Plus there awning is the worst«Frozen Vegetables, Vitamin Water, Magazines», no thanks.

Be careful if you come in with the groupon– it’s still a decent deal, but they’re definitely lighter on the meat, downsell you to the canned sodas, and«forgot» to pack my macaroni salad. The prices on breakfast sandwiches were pretty good, and I may return for that, since it’s so close to my gym.

I bought a deal from groupon. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with swiss cheese. The sandwich was pathetic, two slices of roast beef and one slice of swiss cheese. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

I love this place. Ever since it opened a couple of months ago, I’ve been coming here to get my lunch sandwich when I’m working from home and for the egg and cheese sandwiches for me and my wife over the weekend… excellent. I also really like trying out the many different exotic drinks that are being sold,…highly recommended !

This deli just opened up in my neighborhood back in May. I have gotten sandwiches from there 2 times, but each time the food was bland and tasted old and wasn’t worth the price I paid for my food. The only reason I went back after the first visit was because they had just opened so I tried to give them a second chance, but I will NEVER eat there again. Last Friday my friend went in and ordered a chicken salad sandwich and later that evening she felt really sick(this was the only food she ate that day). When she woke up the next day she was still feeling sick. She went in to complain to the owner about it and to let him know his food may be spoiled and he called the police on her stating she was harassing him. WTF? She only went in once just to tell him his food was spoiled so no one else would get sick like she did. This place isn’t up to par with the other local deli’s in the area. There is a «Prime Place Convenience» right across the street from Raf’s so I will only be going there from now on. I tried to give Raf’s a chance, but each time it was a fail and since he called the police on my friend because she alerted Raf’s to a problem with their food I will NEVER eat there again.
