Great family-friendly place. The staff are courteous, kind, and very chill. The pizza is great. The sauce is perfect and used sparingly which I like. Great go-to uptown Hoboken spot. Closed Mondays FYI.

I only ate half the slice, it had no taste.

Been going for YEARS, Maybe 8 or 9 years! Best Pizza and Meatball place in my families’ opinion. My children are so mad if I ever order from somewhere else for good reason. The Meatballs, garlic bread, grilled chicken and of course pizza are the best. I think the pizza has gotten better over the last couple of years. the sauce remains awesome and the pizza is a little crispier than it used to be. I love the ‘special’ pizza«especially», kind of like everything pizza.

My go to pizza spot uptown in Hoboken. You can’t beat the chicken slices. The only downfall is its only open until 10 so your late night cravings won’t be satisfied here. Owner is a real nice guy and offers some good chat while you’re waiting for your food.

This place has the looks and makings of a solid, unique, neighborhood pizza joint. I could not be more disappointed. Going off their regular, plain slice… Why don’t you actually put some sauce on the pizza? Pretty simple.

Been here a couple of times to grab a slice. Hey it’s the closest to the movie theater. The sauce is not that great, the slice is not amazing it’s a regular slice. Like the 100 of places in Hoboken that serves this. There is no waiter. Just some guys back there watching the game there friendly and hit up the pizza that looks like its been sitting there all day. Just a lonely place for a lonely slice of pizza but maybe next time I get then to make me a fresh slice.

I’ve been dining here and ordering from here since probably 2002, and almost exclusively for their Sautéed Pasta entrees with all that delicious garlicky red or pink sauce. Soooo goooood… arrrrrllllggggglllrgglllll(drooling sounds… sorry.) I’m all about the Melenzana and Siciliana pastas, and I also love the Spinach Ravioli in Vodka Pink Sauce(although, I do sometimes wish they’d cook the ravioli a little more al dente, as they occasionally tend to overcook on their own, just from the steam inside the take-out container.) The salads are always fresh and crisp, and I always appreciate the nice hunk of warm bread that accompanies the entrees… Need every bit of it to sop up all that garlicky sauce, after all! I can’t imagine spending all that time looking for parking in Hoboken, and not getting Rosario’s pasta, but I have heard rumors over the years that they make great pizza too. I suppose I should probably look into that one of these days! ;)

I’ve been to Rosario’s a few times solely for their pizza and I’ve always phoned in my order and picked it up on my way home. I have to say it’s one of the better«non-gourmet» slices I’ve had in Hoboken. You really can’t beat the $ 12 or so that they charge for a plain pie. The crust is relatively thin and chewy, showing good color on the underside. They sauce the pies well, not over applying which can overwhelm the pizza. The sauce isn’t the best I’ve ever had but I’ve certainly had much worse. There is a good proportion of cheese cheese evenly distributed around the pies. When you get a toppings(which are a little on the expensive side $ 2.50/topping) they are fairly generous. If you want to go the toppings route I would recommend checking out one of their specialty pizzas. These pizzas are a real deal if you compare them with adding individual toppings to your pizza. I personally enjoy the Alia Casa which has chicken cutlet, sauteed onions and tomatoes. I would recommend checking at Rosario’s on Willow if you are uptown and looking for yummy, no frills pizza.

Went in for a quick bite, as I grew up in the neighborhood but heard from outsiders that it was a good place, with good pizza. Found a human tooth, darkened by cigarette smoke in my sausage pizza slice. I am 100% certain it is a tooth and checked my own mouth, thinking it was my crown or something. I don’t smoke and my teeth are not that dark, but there still was a shiny glare to the tooth, proving it’s enamel texture. I cleaned it and saved it just in case. I might take a picture to post here or on Facebook. Summary: Someone is missing a tooth and it was in the Sausage slice of pizza I had yesterday, November 30th, 2010 around 5 O’clock P.M. Let me know if there is a reward for your missing tooth, I would like to be compensated. I’m sticking with Benny’s, where the pies are fresh and enamel-less.

My neighborhood pizza place, Rosario’s always comes through. While the pizza is good, plain can be a bit plain so I recommend either a topping or try the sicilian if they have it that day. Also all the entress are great and not too expensive. Wings are good but probably too saucy. Only real beef here is they’re not open at 4am when I really need a slice!

I guess this place is ok. The decorations are classic, the food is good, but be careful when you get pasta bolognese because when I ordered it, there was a kernel of corn. Eeww! They put a little to much sauce on the chef salad. My dad got a slice of pizza, but he had to get up to get the parmesan. They should set that at the table. When we were served our bread, they didn’t give us plates. They don’t give you water in cups, they don’t have waiters that come to you to take your order, and it’s very lonely here.
