I interviewed many designers before choosing Carol to finish my home in Hoboken. She built on my vision (rather than replacing it with her own) making specific suggestions that improved my project. She is full of energy and enthusiasm and no job is too large or small. She has the contractors to get the job done. I’ve visited both her shops in Hoboken and Newport R.I. and she is for real. She participates in many local designer showcase houses and gives back to the community.

Carol has come to our home on many occasions to work on various projects, from the LR design, and most recently the kitchen/​family room design. She meets each opportunity with a keen eye, open ear, and digs for creative solutions. She has extraordinary vision — which we consider masterful! I am so lucky to have the chance to work with her.
Carol brings great understanding to the process of making a room and a home both functional and beautiful, balancing everything in a way we could not have done. She appreciates the things we like and the way we live and enhances that, selecting colors and placing furnishings in a way to get results we didn’t expect.
AS I was writing this, my husband added that he is also impressed with the result of working with Carol — and this is weighted heavily, as he was very resistant originally to working with any designer; however when we were having the exterior of our home re-​done, he requested that we meet with Carol to discuss exterior color selection, lightening, landscaping ideas — all of which she embraced with enthusiasm. My husband and I highly recommend Carol for any design of the home. She is easy to work with, professional, organized and fair in her billing, and a «master blender» of ideas, feedback and creativity.

You have to be kidding. Any NJ reviews must be planted by friends — that is her main office. For some reason there is a RI office — where she hasn’t a clue. This woman has terrible taste, the furniture is out of proportion for the rooms (too big or too small), waay too expensive and she is nasty. She has been fired from numerous jobs in RI. Stay away.

We’ve used Carol as a valued resource for years, and have found her to be creative, insightful, and respectful of the budget guidelines we establish. The finished product is consistently beautiful, and something that has given us and our friends and family years of immense pleasure. On any rare occasion things are delayed, the finished product has made it well worth it in the end.
