Lasting Looks

I have been a hairstylist here in Delaware for over 35 years ! I have had lots of my friends try lasting looks and have been very happy with there service! I recommended two of my friends for jobs there and I have herd nothing but wonderful group to join! From customer service to employees I give them a five star! Yes it’s hard to find but its the best kept secret! Must go try this place! Mindy is awesome and so is the staff! Makeup by mindy is so perfect I will go back! Best of luck to the whole group !! Removing my old positive review.

This review is based on my facial here which was my first facial ever. It was wonderful and relaxing. Since it was my first time, Kathleen talked me through it. It was so relaxing and lovely. The staff is kind and the atmosphere is clean and nice. The one thing that bugged me was I went there not knowing you cannot tip on your credit card there. Luckily I had some cash, but if I had not had enough for a tip it would’ve been really embarassing.

I will preface this review with the following:
–I have always had lash envy of others including guys.
–I have never been able to bat my lashes EVER
–I have tried all kinds of serums and mascaras to assist me in the growing of m y lashes
I purchased a living social deal for a signature set of eyelash extensions. You had to call and book an appt in advance so I scheduled myself for 12 noon. The location is a little hard to find if you aren’t familiar with Hockessin. I had to call twice to get more accurate directions I don’t venture out that way too often and the receptionist was super nice and got me there a little later than my appointment. Dawn came out to do a consultation about the process including what she would be doing and how long it would take. After removing my mascara and washing my face I went back into the room laid down on a table and then the process begun. Each lash is applied with a special adhesive individually the complete process takes about an hour and half but I ended up falling asleep halfway through (your eyes are closed during the entire process). It’s recommended that you have the extensions refilled every 3 – 4 weeks and it takes about an hour to do. I am very happy with the results and will continue to have the extensions done.
