Well we arrive here roughly 10:10 it’s a peaceful environment me and my co worker are chatting. Next thing you know BOOM a giant seven legged spider lands right on my co workers head. You know I killed that damn nagged spider. Food comes, delicious & when I say delicious I mean they shame my mothers food. Deff a place to go just watch out for spiders

Maybe we came on an off day, but it was our First and Last time at this establishment. The eggs were decent at best, the home-fries aren’t remotely close to home-fries and should come with a server warning of such: they look like and tasty like thin potato chips that have been coated in grease and barely warmed up, needless to say these were left on the plate. Our server, while pleasant only came to the table twice; once to take our order and then to drop off the check — never came back to ask how our meals were or if there was anything else we would like, including a refill on our waters. We were less than impressed and will drive the extra distance to go to Cosmos off of Maryland avenue for a delicious breakfast and awesome service!

Love this place! Usually enjoy breakfast — love their unique home fries — but today we went for an early lunch. Burger was delicious as was the grilled chicken sandwich. So good! And service is always warm, welcoming and courteous. Love it!

Waitress and host were really friendly, the food is average. The waitress never asked to refill on my coffee until we were ready to leave. Maybe being from New England we drink more coffee than the average person.

This is my favorite restaurant in Hockessin. I usually order banana pancakes(excellent), sausage(they give you two patties, also excellent), and orange juice. The service, particularly if you get the regular waitress, is outstanding.

Great food and service. I have been going here since I was tiny when it use to be called kim’s café. When you walk in its like walking into cheers and everyone knows your name and wants to know your story. It’s very refreshing and makes you feel at home. It’s a little gem in hockessin everyone needs to try.

Steak and eggs were excellent! Been here quite a few times and breakfast is always on point. Lots of regulars here but even if youre not a regular you are still guaranteed good service. I wouldnt recommend the burgers but besides that, eat away! Courtney is a fantastic server and i owe her five bucks!

Always come here for brunch when I can. Small and quaint. Great, simple breakfast food… you can’t go wrong. The build your omelets are big and filling. ANDYOUHAVE to try their pancakes! Their specialty ones are really good!

I found Quinn’s here on Unilocal and loved it! My boyfriend and I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning at about 11am. It is a small spot so we waiting about 15 minutes, but not a big deal at all. Once we sat down our order was taken quickly and brought quickly. I got a BYO Omlet which was awesome! My boyfriend got a Breakfast Burrito which was awesome as well! It is a very clean and organized establishment. They have a little bakery section where we ordered a Black and White cookie that was sooo good! This is a great spot for breakfast and lunch for sure! Check it out!

Had breakfast at Quinn’s this morning. The server was very polite. The coffee and pancakes were great! The fruit salad was a nice treat — fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas. I’ll be back.

Very nice tiny little breakfast place also does lotto and you are going to have to wait for a seat most days but is a good breakfast choice on Lancaster pike in Delaware. The sausage gravy and biscuits were good and my wife had the big breakfast which was indeed big. The whole lotto thing is strange but okay we saw two tables of men working on the horses and deciding their sports bets for the weekend so a little more color then your typical breakfast joint.

We have eaten here several times and it is ok, good basic food. Occasionally the fried food tastes like the oils isn’t changed frequently enough. The eggs and omelette was my favorite, I really don’t like the homefries, they are plain and bland and oily.

We started with a HAIR in the food!!! Blahhhh… Joe’s big breakfast was NOTBIG, so don’t call it big… A growing teenager wants to eat. Two dry ass scrambled eggs, a skimpy, one piece French toast, two strips bacon one with hair(human/cook) and home fries. I mean potato chips… That really suck. My egg white spinach/mushroom omelette was just ok, same crappy chips and a greasy fried oil saturated scrapple slice… Sorry you get only two stars, one for the water and one for the cute inattentive server. Won’t be back!!!

This is a great place for breakfast, if you can get a table. The chipped beef on toast is the best I have ever had besides moms. Home fries are this sliced and crispy. The omelettes are delicious, nice and cheesy.

I had Quinn’s after a nice morning hike. It’s a diner; people were pleasant, the food filled me up and wasn’t expensive. I ordered the Greek omelet; spinach and feta cheese. Yum! Also their home fries were good; cut like chips but not as crispy. If I’m ever up that early again and around that way, I will eat there again.

For what is serves, the food is very good. The pancakes are delicious and I really like the turkey sausage links. The prices are very reasonable. The only thing I had here and did not like was what they call a belgian waffle. I would call it a small frozen style waffle. They could easily have a waffle iron and make a nice large waffle from scratch just like they make the delicious pancakes. And the hash browns(home fries) or whatever they call them are like thick, soft potato chips. They are ok, but I prefer just irregular cut up potatoes fried with onions instead. Most of the breakfast meals contain eggs, which I don’t like. But they have a good selection of lunch sandwiches. They have a display case with someone else’s disserts. They look good but I have never tried them. It is a fairly small restaurant and is always crowded. They open early and close after lunch. The staff is decent and always refills coffee usually before even asking for more. The place is always filled with old people, but it is very family friendly also. I should be giving them 5 stars, but it is only breakfast food and doesn’t take much talent to make pancakes. And for the Belgian waffle they get only 4 stars but the food is really good for the price.

I hesitate writing a review for Quinn’s Café because it’s already busy and I’m afraid I’ll never get a table, but this is a little gem in the heart of Hockessin. They’re only open for breakfast and lunch, 7 days a week. The food and coffee are great. I love that the eggs and home fries aren’t drenched in oil. The service is really good. Super friendly and accommodating.
