I just went to return an item I bought over Christmas. I know it took me 2 months to return it, but I was ok to receive store credit. It was a Guess sweater dress for 39.99. The customer service told me the dress does not come up in the system and that they could only give me back $ 7. They also were implying that the dress was worn and tags removed and replaced. I know the dress was brand new and also that I had not done anything with the tags. I am very disappointed and humiliated. Probably will not come back to this TJ Maxx again!

This is my first stop when I’m looking for an outfit for any occasion or gift. I get compliments at work work and I always tell everyone that I got it at TJMAX. This location in particular have great selections. You can’t go wrong with name brands for less. I actually found a few things that are currently at Woodfield but for way less $$. I’ve gotten formal wear for $ 50 to yoga pants for $ 6. Another great section is hair products like Bed Head for 50% off. I’ve also found great shoes like Puma, BCBG and Uggs boots.

Store review This TJ Maxx location is legit. You can actually find good price items. It is well stocked and have a lot of items on clearance. There must be a final season clearance as I spied alot of yellow tag items throughout the store. Staff is friendly. I will have to make a pit stop here on a more regular basis to check for deals! Pros– discounted name brand clothing Cons– variable inventory so you have to come frequently to get first choice Hidden deals– Look for yellow tag items. So a yellow tag does not mean final clearance, they can place another yellow tag with even steeper savings if the item is still there

I hate giving TJM a 3, but that is how it has been for a couple years now. I used to be able to find really cute things, but these days I have better luck at the Marshalls by Woodfield.

I love shopping here because they have a large selection of clothing and many styles. I have found clothes from Hollister and Ambercrombie here that were going for literally $ 5-$ 10. The store seems pretty orderly and clean. It is fun to go somewhere and know that you are not going to be paying full price for it and dishing out more money from your wallet that the item is worth.

Hog-wild. That would accurately describe my experience at this TJ Maxx a few weeks ago. I had just been discussing the days when I would walk into Nordstrom and not bat an eyelash at a $ 200 shoe… it was a great time in my life, but also a foolish time in my life, and one that I’m literally still paying for. Today, discount is the only price range in my budget and I’m a regular red-tag hound dog when it comes to stores like this. It’s the thrill of the hunt and my sniffer for sales was working over time. I like this TJ Maxx because the items they carry seem to be in better condition and variety of selection feels broader here. I loaded up on fancy work shirts for meetings, or for days when I know I’ll see a relative and want to look like I’m buying the big-shot clothing now. I got a particularly rockin’ pair of fall boots here for $ 30 that I’m complimented on daily and are comfy as heck. I will say that this location is kind of lacking in the beauty/toiletry selection, but for those $ 30 everyday fall-winter boots, I can forgive ‘em a bit.

I love this TJ Maxx. I go to many different ones but somehow this one is my favorite. They have really nice jewelry selection. Every time I go there I always find something cute and inexpensive. Their houseware stuff is expanding as well. Plenty of things you can find to decorate your apartment. Prices are decent.

I’m not impressed with this place. I’m not a huge fan of the discount stores but I love browsing through racks of clothes which makes a place like TJ Maxx a great place for me to kill a few hours in. anyway, the prices of the clothes are quite high for the quality and selection they offer. I find better deals at Woodfield mall during sales. This place seems kind of picked through. I still stop in on occasion but don’t usually buy anything.

I did not like this store I went looking for clothes for my daughter and I only found a t-shirt and a pkg of socks worth buying the store was messy and the prices out of my range for the quality things were thrown all over the store. Some of the clothes looked as if they were worn to the beach when i was checking out i was asked by the sales clerk if the outfit was for my granddaughter — i was more shocked and a little offended yet tried not to show it to be nice i may have a little gray showing but i know i dont look like a grandma — i have a 4 yr old at home i never enjoyed shopping in a TJM before and even more so now

Disclaimer: I am a TJ Maxx conessuire. I know my TJ Maxx stuff. And this one is SUPERGREAT. Not only is their stuff organized, not only is their store clean, but their prices are better than some other TJ locations, AND their bathrooms are BEAUTIFUL! Like Hilton hotel beautiful. I was quite confused, but then I realized that a.) they just renovated it b.) what a great way to promote your products!(wall hangings, floral arrangements, soaps, etc). I went home with a $ 5 plain black t-shirt, a $ 15 pair of goddess sandals, and a $ 12 jewelry holder. LOVEIT.

I LOVE T J MAXX! Basically, I do ALL of my clothing shopping and home décor shopping here. This place is great on the pocket book if you are wanting to get a higher quality product for less. Do look out for defects. This isn’t always the case but can be at times and they are usually so small that it really doesnt make a difference. I love to buy my trouser socks here. Trouser socks are outrageously expensive anywhere else… I have found great purses too and I am not a huge purse girl. Got a great floor rug for my office… yeah, check it out!

I agree this TJ Maxx is a zoo and I think the one at the Sears Center actually carries nicer and better stuff even though its smaller!

I despise this TJ Maxx. It certainly is a reflection of the community surrounding it — old. What I don’t get about TJ Maxx is that the company is slowly introducing high-priced items, which is totally an antithesis to what is its original design — discount. I cannot foresee springing for a $ 100 bag knowing it has been flung and abused by the less-quality conscientious Maxx shoppers. A nicer, bigger, cleaner, tidier TJ Maxx can be found near Prairie Stone(near Sears Center), near 90. Higgins Road takes you right there.

I’m really not impressed with this TJ Maxx. I can never find anything I want(or the size I want) in the right location. It definitely takes a LOT of time and patience to look through everything to find what you want to get. Not only that… the prices are not THAT great, considering the fact that I have seen sleeves on shirts that are not of the same length. And even being a shoe fanatic, I do not want to go through that mess of shoes that they have. Shoes — all over the floor… of all sizes. Oh help me. Help me now!
