This is the 7-Eleven EVERYONE in my family goes to, some of us even go twice a day. & after my experience last night NONEOFUS will be coming back. They have always been kind & helpful until I encountered one woman employee there last night. I burned myself with coffee yesterday & some spilled over onto the counter and floor. Not a lot, but it just tipped over the edge of my cup. I grabbed some paper towel & wiped my hands & the counter & informed their female employee that some was on the floor(I was kind enough to not leave them with a mess, incase someone got hurt) I assumed she’d have a mop in the back to wipe it up. But instead she handed me paper towels & told me to clean it up. SHEEVENWATCHEDABOVEMEAS I CLEANEDIT. Not trying to sound racist(because I’m certainly not) but this woman obviously didn’t want to clean it because either 1. She’s lazy or 2. She wants me to feel less than her because I’m white. Maybe it was some type of power issue she was having. Whether that’s the case or not, that’s how I took it. I informed her of the spill because THAT’S HERJOB. EMPLOYEESCLEANSPILLS. It’s part of working in 7-Eleven & having that thing called a mop in the back room I threw out my coffee last night & left furious. I called them up after, told them what happened & they couldn’t care less. Now they lost my entire families business. We’re switching to the 7-Eleven on Union Avenue in Holbrook.
