Ordered general Tso and other dishes! Tasteless! Also, seemed like all dishes were fried and refried in the same cheap dirty oil. Definitely never going back.

Just found this place through a recommendation from a friend and I’ve been there a few times already. It’s lovely for«American» Chinese food and we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. I wouldn’t want to sit there to eat — but it’s great for take-out.

Only OK as far as Chinese take-out goes. The steamed dumplings were doughy and undercooked, and didn’t come with dumpling sauce. Other than that, not bad.

My favorite Chinese fast food in the USA. I know that dumplings are dumplings but their dumplings are the best. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life I could see myself choosing the dumplings at China 4. Also, I would ask the person giving me this choice why I had to make such an insane choice. Do I have to pay for the dumplings every time I eat or are they provided for free? Do you give a lot of people these types of choices? Why couldn’t mine have been«if you had to pick one super model to give you a massage for the rest of your life?» or «which beer would you have Miranda Kerr serve you for the rest of your life?» Why does mine have to be «which food do you eat for the rest of your life?» Does Miranda Kerr work at China 4?

This has got to be one of the worst Americanized Chinese take out places. I’m baffled by the fact thatse rated this place as very good. Food is tasteless, bland, very Americanized. Gave it numerous tries and it really is bad. I’m Asian and this is not how Chinese food is. Sorry for being so harsh. Try Yao’s Diner instead. You will enjoy it much better if you want authentic Chinese food on Long Island.

This is the very best Chinese takeout I’ve had on Long Island. This may sound weird but their food doesn’t taste«unhealthy» or «greasy». Usually after Chinese takeout, I get that heavy feeling in my stomach pretty much akin to «Lord, why did I eat that even if if tasted so good?» But even their fried rice is light and yet sooo tasty. I highly recommend their wonton soup or any of their dinner specials. General Tsos chicken is amazing. Ask them to spice it up and man will they deliver. Their portion size is also pretty large so one dinner or lunch is big enough to share. Their prices are average(under $ 10) but I would gladly pay a little more because I don’t have to deal with the heavy feeling in my stomach afterwards. A MAJOR con is that they don’t deliver. It is really inconvenient but we just suck it up and call ahead to pick it up. If they started to deliver, I would change this review to 5 stars in a heartbeat. The staff is not super friendly but they are not waiting on you — you’re speaking to them at the counter– but they are polite. One perk is that if you wish them a Happy New Year(during Chinese New year) they throw in a beautiful calendar at no charge. A nice extra costing you nothing but a few kind words. Overall great food, great prices and a nice Neighborhood find.

Best Chinese I’ve had here on the Island(although I’ve only been here about 6 months). Very good noodles. Personally I almost always get the General Tso and Lo Mein. Very clean place. Staff isn’t the most welcoming in the world, but they get the job done efficiently. I’ve never had an issue with my order and the food is delicious. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars is weird portion sizes(some dishes are only available in large).

Above average Chinese food. Store is cleaner than most. The staff is not very friendly and I recommend that you check your order before leaving the store because they tend to make a lot of mistakes.
