This particular location for Ralph’s really comes down to the customer service honestly. A few(Not all) of the girls there had this«I really don’t enjoy work» attitude and they take it out on the customers. Poor choice for the employees. The Ice’s practically sell themselves. The Employee just has to deal to the customer. Not make them feel like we’re constantly bothering them with orders. Scoop ice. and serve with a smile on. That’s all that’s being asked.

I am a huge fan of Ralphs Ices. The only reason I don’t give this particular location 4 or 5 stars is due to the staff. The teenagers working the counter are more interested in socializing & checking their phones. I get many orders filled incorrectly. Better location on Portion Rd. in Nesconset. out of the way, but friendly, accommodating staff.

YESSsssss… don’t ask me why, but I love cotton candy ice-cream. In fact, I have an unhealthy love for cotton candy in general. I didn’t come for italian ice, but left content with a massive scoop of cc ice-cream for a mere $ 3.65. Nommy.

Alright my review isnt about Ralphs its about the Nathans thats attached to it. First off they have 14 year olds behind the counter who stare down at their feet while taking your order never once made eye contact. I stood at the counter for 5 minuted before they even noticed me. Then when i finally placed my order of 2 corndogs, a large fry, and a large coke i had to wait a good 15 – 20 minutes. I work as a late night fry cook at the Brownstone Brewing Company and I know that it only takes less than 5 minutes to make french fries and i cant imagine it taking 15 minutes to make 2 corndogs. The people who ordered after me got their 2 full bags of food before i got my tiny order. Then when i finally got my food my large coke was filled half way and the kid gave me an attitude when I asked him to fill it up all the way. I have a short temper unfortunatly so I gave them an attitude when I was leaving and complained about my long wait for such a small order and as I was leaving I hear the kids laughing and talking smack behid my back. I’m gonna take the drive out to the Smithhaven Mall for Nathans from now on to avoid going to this place. I’d probably be able to finish my food from the Smithhaven Nathans before they take my order at this Nathans. Word of advice, make sure your employees know how to deal with customers and more importantly make sure they know how to make the food on the menu.

Plenty of flavors to choose from! The folks behind the counter are also accommodating if you want to try more than one flavor(see: indecisive). I had sour cherry and passionfruit. I know, it’s a weird combination. I thought it was a bit too sugary and didn’t finish it as a result. But hey, if you’re in the mood for Italian ice, well, Ralph’s could be your fix.

As Tom said, it’s a good Italian ice place right in Holbrook. They have probably any flavor you can imagine, including some sugar free varieties. I got a blood orange this time and it was yummy. There’s also a Nathan’s attached to it as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas. If you’re in the area & dying for Italian ice, you can’t go wrong here.

Great little Italian Ice place in Holbrook. They have a variety of flavors, and they add more all the time. I got green apple, and even though it was a little melty, it was damned tasty. I would definitely go back.
