As a favorite thing in life its hard to review Ice cream as I love it so. There is nothing I would rather have and no flavor I dislike. However recently I made a visit to this particular Cold Stone, not that I have ever been to one before after a game of golf we stopped about 10.00 p. m and entered looking at the menu I see the concept take regular ice cream and mix in lots of choices and mix it on a cold stone, great. So I ordered a menu item which had chocolate and peanut butter mixed in an Ice cream and served in a waffle cone. I was asked what size and chose medium I estimate a half pound cup. I received a cone very large in size with far more Ice cream then the cup I asked for so Im not sure why I was asked. This shop run by young adults 18 – 23 is a classic example of shop out of control, As I received my cone I proceeded to the register to pay and a gruff young man ring me up. I noticed a large sign at the register stating WEDONOTACCEPTBILLSLARGERTHEN A TWENTY! DOLLARBILL! And I commented What the hell is going on in this country were a store refuses to take U S CURRENCYTHECLERKSAIDTO Many COUNTERFEITS really? I said how can you refuse to accept USCURRENCYTHATSREALLYAGAINSTTHELAW The clerk looked at me said well we can refuse the customer we don’t have to serve them. With that type of attitude it’s a wonder that there is a tip bottle at the register FORMYSELF I REFUSETOSHOPWEREPEOPLEREFUSETOACCEPTOURCURRENCYBUY A MONEYPENLIKEEVERYONEELSEOR A BILLCHECKERORLOOKATITINTHELIGHTIFYOUWANTTOBEINBUSINESSTHENBEINBUSINESSORGETTHEHELLOUTFORMETHISPLACEIS A LOOSER P. Wasn’t too happy with the selections. Also this place is really tiny. Nicely located off of sunrise highway. But, I felt the service took way too long and the employees were rude. Seek other options for ice cream store.

The staff was excellent and even though it was packed the line moved very fast. They have competitive pricing but I do not mind spending the extra money when it comes to quality.

Coldstone ice cream is the best and the staff is so friendly here. TIP for this location! If you follow their Instagram account @ColdstonePatchogue you get 10% your purchase, and if you take a picture at their store tagging them, you get a free HUGE waffle bowl or cone! They also post other really good deals on their Instagram.

Good coldstone. Always clean. The portions are inconsistent depending on who is working though. Look for coupons with their email club and in the local newsday.

I love cold stone. This particular one is my local store, and I’ve always had good ice cream here. My friends and I used to go a lot in high school, and now it’s a less frequent treat. My favorite is Cookie Minster and also birthday cake remix! I can never manage to order anything else haha I want to try other things, but I always have a craving for one of those, so I have to give in. This particular store doesn’t have much seating, which can be frustrating if you want to dine in, but I almost always get it to go!

The ice cream here is great. Always a treat to go to Coldstone. Great ice cream flavor concepts that come to life before your eyes!

Nice décor, very friendly people… not too good ice cream. Did I miss something here?!? My wife ordered something with a waffle cone and I ordered something from the«signature dishes». The waffle tasted gummy and didn’t finish it all. My ice cream, although impressed by the way it was put together, had no taste to it at all. The berries in it were soo cold it hurt my teeth biting through them. Sorry but I could have made a better and more tastier Sunday at home.

I used to go here a couple of times when I attended school at St. Joe’s. Didn’t seem too busy at least in the afternoons. They seem to serve more ice cream and more sugar than in other Cold Stones’ like in Lake Grove. Cold Stone is pricey than other ice cream chains, but you get tons of ice cream options and toppings mixed together right in front of you. Cake Batter is the best flavor! IMO. ;) I usually like Birthcake Remix(cake batter, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, a brownie, and graham crackers/pie crusts.) Another great flavor is Strawberry Blonde(just ask for vanilla/cake batter ice cream instead of strawberry ice cream and the ingredients include strawberry, whipped topping, and graham crackers/pie crusts.) Since I also get this in a medium(also known as Love it) it comes out at $ 5. But it’s worth every penny and time.^_^

Hovering around 96& unapologetically humid, I staggered into CS. Citing an unwieldy statistic from ice cream trucks that seemed to translate to indoor chain sales – «it’s very weather dependent — when it’s over 90 degrees, no one buys.» It was one of those days that’s hazy yet unbearable(well, hazy and THUS unbearable)…a day where you set your a/c @ 62& it can’t subvert 78… one of the handful of days I don’t leave my windows down as the sole form of ventilation on my drive home. Regardless, the then-just-debuted«Oreo Cream Filling» flavor tasted like their Sweet Cream variety(aka vanilla) tainted with cookies. This gimmick coupled with fake Coupons(same price without it and apparently merely a form of advertisement for a not-so-popular new attempt at innovation). CS is the only place I use plastic for small purchases, so $ 4.23 later I had myself a Like It with this charlatan flavor and nothing on top. Service was clearly affected by the heat despite a/c(they had the door open as they always seem to) and taciturn and indifferent, but surprisingly efficient at the mundane task of scooping and not mixing.

Cold Stone is a chain Ice Cream store that had the brilliant idea to capitalize on homemade type ice cream. They get crowded at this location just like every other location. it takes a little longer because of there cold stone slab. The toppings or mix-ins as they call it which run the gamut of gummy bears all the way to classics as hot fudge. They have a variety of sundae type creations, Malts & Shakes, and select low fat stuff as well as cakes and cupcakes. They have a variety of staple flavors but will also have a flavor of the month. This location for some odd reason i find the ice cream to be a little more melty than other locations. I mean they smash all your requests together on the slab as that is the concept and i suppose to make it not as frozen ultimately this will melt your gooey ice cream creation but something, a little something is off. Not enough to remove a star. Also, I remember they used to sing a song every time you gave a tip. it made the Cold Stone expierience sort of cultish– it’s either this location or the chain got away from that. Which in a weird way I kinda miss.
