I miss this place so much. Best bubble tea place in Suffolk and they always had new and exciting things. :(Make a comeback in a good location so you stay forever. Main St was probably to expensive rent.

No its not red mango or pinkberry but its delicious, refreshing and its locally owned by a couple of entreprenuerial young women… reason enough to support it if you ask me. in this economy«mom and pop» shops should be getting our support more than the corporate giants. I eat very healthy… and i often have this in lieu of lunch topped w/some fresh fruit and granola… or as a 3PM snack if i had a salad for lunch. yes, its DIY but if you can contain yourself and not overserve yourself, then its not a problem. Most have very low sugar and 20 – 35 cals/serving. I think it’s a great addition to the Patchogue neighborhood!

Well you can all stop complaining because they closed down 3 weeks ago or so! I went in there on Saturday and all their flavors were low and I had a feeling something was up and sure enough on Monday they were closed for good with shades pulled down on the windows. Not to fear though everyone because a Berryo frozen yogurt place is coming around the corner on Main Street where ALLTHEPEOPLEACTUALLYGO so when that place comes it wont go out of business! Plus the store is going to be HUGE compared to Yochi’s small store they were in. I just wonder if its going to be the same staff etc but just in a different and better location and they are just trying to keep it on the down low. Anyways I hate it when the places you go to you are 1 of thier regular costomers but they dont tell you that you are going out of business, as was the case with Yochi! I find it rude and inconsiderate but no matter. This is supposed to be a review of the yogurt lol. I found the yogurt to be alright. It was sweet and did taste more like soft serve ice cream(compared to the awesome taste of TCBY Im used to) when i first started having it but I didnt mind. The staff was never rude to me although I guess the 1 sample rule was a bit much but still improvise, just use the same sample thingy they give you and sneak in a few flavors after that like i did once or twice. Overall I miss the place and enjoyed my time going there. R.I.P. YOCHI

Sorry to hear that some people did not enjoy their experience here, but I’ve never encountered rude staff. On the contrary, everyone I’ve ever been served by has been extremely friendly and very helpful. I live at the Artspace building just 50 ft away, so I come here very often… sometimes three times a week! Also, FANTASTIC bubble tea options. I adore the black cherry.

WARNINGWARNING! AVOID! RUDESTAFFANDSUBPARYOGURT! Go to a Rita’s cause its better than this place. The price is not worth the time and the yogurt tastes like its loaded with artificial flavoring. Seriously I would pay for Rita’s over this place.

After falling in love with the self serve frozen yogurt & toppings bars, I found YoChi nearby. I actually came across it because they sell Krafty Kakes cupcakes which are absolutely AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend that you try their many flavors! I found YoChi to be a smaller shop with an absolutely ADORABLE girly décor. Unlike similar establishments, YoChi has less flavors — only 6 — which they seem to rotate. I got Red Velvet(which is what I was hoping for!) and Dulce de Leche. The Red Velvet was a little sweeter than I would have liked but it was still good. I usually don’t like Dulce de Leche flavor, but their recipe was incredible and I was very impressed! Their toppings bar had a lot of options but my one comment is that I like my candy bars to be crushed rather than the larger chunks that they have. However they also had chocolate covered pretzels, which I LOVE and never see as toppings! YoChi also has Peanut Butter sauce — which is rare at self serve locations, so this was a huge plus! The price is a bit higher here, but I just got a small amount as an after-dinner snack and mine came to less than $ 3. I prefer Yogo in Port Jefferson personally, however since that’s further from home I thought this was a great local spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. A nice alternative :-)

Im admittedly a frozen yogurt snob. I just want Pinkberry and I want them to be everywhere so I dont ever have to eat imposters. That being said, YoChi was decent. I was nervous after reading other reviews and whle I did find it to be sweet it wasnt so sweet that I couldnt enjoy it. They have an impressive topping selection too, even melon balls which Ive never seen as a froyo topping and enjoyed. It is pricy, more pricy then Pinkberry in my opinion. The couple in front of me paid 15.00 for 2 yogurts. In a pinch though, YoChi will do.

Man, some of you people are grouchy out there! Look, if you want Red Mango, go to Red Mango. Red Mango this most definitely is not. I have become a bit of a YoChi regular since the place opened, as in I will *not* go to any other area ice cream/italian ice joint. Yes, it is sweet. But unlike some of you people I didn’t go by taste alone to label the place«unhealthy». I checked the nutritional information and it’s right in line with all the other Froyos out there. It just tastes a lot better — much more in line with TCBY than Red Mango(which, by the way, tastes a little like someone threw their old socks in the batch of Froyo to me). If you want to feel all saintly and self serving because you’re eating frozen yogurt instead of ice cream, there are a ton of places out there that you can pick from. If you’re going to Yochi and want to approximate that experience, look for the«tart» yogurts that come up in their small rotation from time to time. But if you want something that tastes as decadent as full-fat, full sugar ice cream, go to YoChi and at least try it out.

I never met a DIYFROYO I didn’t like… until now. :( If you’re going for froyo, chances are, you’re going because you want something cold and sweet without the sugar & fat of ice cream. Getting froyo from YoChi pretty much defeats that whole purpose because it’s SUPER sweet. I had a mix of the Cable Car Chocolate and the Red Velvet Cake flavors. You might be thinking… why didn’t I try these 2 flavors before I purchased them? WELL… because they are STINGY with samples! At every other DIY froyo place I’ve been to, they had sample cups that you could help yourself to. NOTATYOCHI! I had to ask the girl behind the counter for sample cups, and she only gave me one! I tried the Pistachio and didn’t like it. I asked if I could have another cup to try the Vanilla. She handed me a cup and gave me a dirty look… as if the froyo samples were coming out of her paycheck?! Ugh. I didn’t like Vanilla either(but didn’t want to be rude and just walk out) so I figured the 2 remaining flavors were the way to go. I took really small portions just in case they were going to be as bad as the Pistachio and Vanilla. And they were. If it weren’t for the toppings, I wouldn’t have eaten any of it. On top of everything, it’s expensive! 49 cents per oz is on the higher end of what I’m used to paying for DIY froyo. Because the place is still new, I might give it another try in a few months… maybe by then they will figure out what they’re doing. Dear young YoChi, please take this time and learn from other froyo places.

YoChi Frozen Yogurt 49 cents /oz. «Make your own Sundae creation.» This place came up outta nowhere. All of a sudden there’s a froyo joint in Patchogue. «Make your own sundae creation.» This statement stops me from 2 stars. Reason being it’s true. a couple of machines and some toppings. The flavors the day I went were Red Velvet, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate, and Red Velvet Cake. 2 stars because generally a Yogurt choice is a bit healthier. Alas you go and make a sundae creation. The stuff is sweet sticky sweet. Generally a touch of sweet and a touch of tart is what I’m after, I was disappointed. I’m not sure how this joint is going to do with Ralph’s around the corner. It’s worth checking out and I hope they can make it as it seems like a cool enough spot. I still have to head out to Port for my Yogurt fix.
