I live right down the road from here. This place has average diner food. Breakfast is generally bad, burgers are ok. I did enjoy the Ruben sandwich but it wasn’t exceptional. There are other establishments in the Holiday area that are much better and unfortunately there are others that are worse.

I was in the area, it was early afternoon, and I saw this place out of the corner of my eye. I suspected that they may have an all day breakfast menu, and they did not disappoint. I walked in, and was advised that I could sit wherever I wanted. When it comes to the interior, this joint is no frills, right down to the wood paneling. I did not come here for their décor, however, I came here to eat. The service was fast and friendly, and I ordered the Country Skillet. About five minutes later, it arrived. My Country Skillet consisted of home fries topped with bacon, ham, and chunks of sausage smothered in egg(I chose over-medium). It tasted good, which is to say it tasted exactly as it should. No special seasoning, no wow factor, just solid breakfast food. I was in and out in fifteen minutes flat, this is a good place to fuel up with down home cooking if you’re in a hurry. I would return.

This was probably the –worst– day to come and check them out, so I will have to come back again. Why was it the worst day? Their gas was being fixed. We stuck around anyway. I ordered one of the quiches and mom got the chicken salad. I have to say that the chicken salad was tasty — she let me have a bite. It was served with a luscious piece of cantaloupe and some seedless watermelon. I had the ham and cheese quiche. Honestly, I wasn’t impressed, I know it was re-heated with a microwave and due to the heat being out, it wasn’t the best it could have been. Like I said, I’ll come back when I can give this a better review.

Ridiculously amazing eggs Benedict!!! I can’t wait to return. Should have skipped the chopped steak. But, my bust it’s a breakfast joint what was I thinking? The fresh squeezed orange juice more than made up for thes steaks’ deficiencies

Visiting from California and was recommended here. Excellent food and great service! Everything is made fresh and exactly how you want it. The prices are great considering everything you get. Will definitely return the next time I visit!

Stopped here with my cousin for breakfast. A warm and friendly spot with a rather extensive breakfast menu and many daily specials for lunch. This is obviously a popular spot for budget conscious local seniors, the prices are very reasonable. I had my favorite breakfast choice, a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns. The food was excellent. My cousin got his regular choice which was a special with eggs, bacon and pancakes. He loved it. Service was fast and friendly. Don’t know about their luncheon specials but it’s a hard place to pass up for breakfast in this area.

I eat here almost every week for breakfast. For $ 3.99, I get bacon, eggs, home fries and toast. Everything is done the way I request it and the servers are quite nice. There are usually 15 – 24 in my group and our orders are taken and the food served in a timely manner. It’s certainly not Bern’s, but I’m not paying Bern’s prices either. If I were to have one suggestion, it would be to keep the coffee pots filled. Of course, I don’t drink coffee so I don’t care personally.

It’s average here. The servers can have a bit of attitude sometimes-the last time I was there they ran out of grits(at 10am on a Saturday) & our server said, «the early bird gets the worm» in a rude tone, ew! However, the food is consistently good & prices are reasonable.

Friendly and fast service. There is a lot of seating available. The breakfast sandwich I ordered wasn’t very good. The spinach was mushy and the muffin I ordered was very old tasting. I wouldn’t return, there are a lot better breakfast places in the area.

I’ve read some really good reviews on this place and have come to the conclusion that everyone was intoxicated when they ate here. The food was okay. The spinach is frozen not fresh which is absurd considering there’s a produce store literally 100 feet away. The omelet was 10% egg 90% vegetable which is weird. Whatever, I’m stealing the hot sauce(just kidding) and never going back.

Why anybody thinks thinks this is a five star restaurant I don’t know. Everything they served me was straight from a box and heated in the microwave. Nothing was homemade.

The outside is deceiving, this place is awesome! Great service, huge menu selection. My croissant egg sandwich was yummy, my kids loved their chocolate chip pancakes and my husband enjoyed his french dip. We will be back to try more delicious offerings…

Awesome mom and pop resturant. We love going for breakfast anytime. Large portions, super quick service, enormous menu. The place is very dated, but well loved and clean.

Three words for this place… YUMYUMYUM The wife and I wanted to try a different place for breakfast. We weren’t sure where to go. So after driving around for more than 45 minutes finding nothing we like we pulled over at a gas station and jumped on Unilocal. That is when we found this place. It was only six miles away so we decided to try it out. We pulled up and the parking lot was packed. We ended up parking in the last spot in the parking lot, yes that busy. We walked in and there was one table open so the waitress escorted us to the table in the middle of the place. Now mind you this place is small. It could seat about 50 people. For my choice of meal was a mushroom, onion, bacon and cheese omelette. I also ordered a side of sausage gravy The wife had what they call a hole in one aka egg in a basket. Everything was server pretty quickly which I was surprised since they were so busy. Well the food had an excellent taste. Even the Home fried potatoes were just right. Crispy on the outside while the inside was perfectly soft. The biggest surprise was the price. It was very cheap for all this food. I will definitely be back. I am interested in trying it for dinner since the breakfast was so good.

Great little local place. The Crab Cakes Benny was just too intriguing to pass up and WELL worth it. Not fancy, but food, prices, and service were excellent!
