Gyro and Kabob Express

Seriously, just good food. Owner was very helpful… I wasn’t sure what I wanted on my first trip here. He took care of putting a plate together and had me try some other dishes. Was taken care of, and I will be back soon.

Best gyros I’ve had in a very, very long time! Fresh, lots of meat and great tzatziki sauce. I will definitely be a return customer!

Modest place with good mid eastern food.
Lamb shank with rice and vegetables, delicious and a good value. Gyro salad also good. tabouli, excellent. Friendly staff invested in their food and customers.

Very good Greek food. Very fresh ingredients, the Greek salad is superb, hummus and avgolemono soup are all excellent. My husband usually gets the gyro and I get the spanakopita, both are great. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a wonderful little restraint with outstanding and authentic Greek food!

Passing through and luckily the cheapest gas near the turnpike (~5 mi) happened to be across the street from this outstanding restaurant. The spanakopita was delicious, the pita and bean/​rice mix was superb, and the service was «down-​home.» Definitely worth the extra drive from the turnpike!

Love this place! Whenever we move to a new area, my husband and I always try to find a good gyro for our first dinner out. This place was convenient, as it was about a mile from our apartment, so we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did! We went in and asked what we should order and the man behind the counter said he was almost done making fresh soup, so we had to get a gyro and soup. I got the avgolemono soup and my husband ordered the lentil and vegetable soup. Both were delicious, but I preferred the lentil and vegetable soup. The vegetables tasted very fresh. We love their gyros, too! The meat is perfectly crispy, yet tender and the tomatoes are always juicy and fresh and they always add just the right amount of tzatziki sauce.
One more thing. We had family visiting in January when the first big winter storm rolled in. We hadn’t gotten anything to cook for dinner and just wanted to grab something quick and easy to bring home, but the city of Holland had just started issuing warnings that stores should close and people should get to a safe place within the hour due to the approaching storm. I called gyro and kabob express and asked if they were closing. The man who answered said yes, but he would gladly take my order if I could get to him in twenty minutes or less. He cooked us an entire meal for five people before closing up shop. We were all grateful that someone was kind enough to feed five people who were poorly prepared for the winter storm. Love this place, the food, and the owner/​cooks!

Amazing gyros! The owner was fantastic and recommended some amazing dishes. He even made it to order without hesitation. He seemed very proud of his business as he should be! I would recommend this place to everyone.

Echoing everything already mentioned. Great, tasty, FRESH food with reasonable prices. The owner is a wonderful guy who has a lot of pride in his restaurant. I usually get a gyro sandwich with fries and it’s very very filling.
There is a seating area, but it’s very informal. I would call this more of a take-​out restaurant than a sit-​down place.

This place has never let me down. They have the best gyro meat and their hommus is always so good. The owner is a great guy.

BEST place to get a lamb Shank. I come up here couple times a year to see my friend Matt. When I’m in town, I try to make it here for the lamb shank… OMG the lamb is always flavorful and tender. I also enjoy talking to the owner SAM. He’s told me he’s owned it for almost 15 years. He also remodeled the inside of the place… looks good. He’s also really personal and very nice. So I order the lamb shank with the yellow rice and the green beans and the pita bread to go. So as I said before, I will personal go out of my way to go see SAM and eat the yummy Lamb Shank :-).

Excellent gyros and huge Greek salads. This is a great place to stop in for lunch. The owner Sam is helpful, friendly and attentive.
