Have to change our 4 * rating to 1 star. My wife had chicken wings we thought were over cooked. I had a gyro with over cooked meat. Thought it was due to the fact they had a 16 yr old kid cooking. My wife became violently ill 20 minutes later and I had gas that smelled like a dead horse. Sometimes you just know what made you sick. This was one of those times. Will not return.

I’m kind of a Gyro guy, I try them everywhere I can get them. Now I’ll say this is one of the top places for them. The service was great, the Gyro my lord was fantastic. Wasn’t greasy, or watery. And extremely cheap. Will deff return. Customer service is very good as well.
I love this place. They have wonderful gyros at a great price. And i can usually make two meals out if it for around $ 6. So those days when I work too late to cook I can get a great meal at a great price. Family owned and way healthier than fast food!

So I had been reading on Unilocal for a while now about how great their gyros are. Finally decided to try one today(finals week=no cooking). I just got the original gyro there, waited about 5 – 10 minutes for them to cook it, and headed home. The gyro was absolutely delicious. For less than 6 bucks you get a pretty decent sized, freshly made gyro that was some of the best I’ve tried. Seriously it was so good, I’m tempted to go back and get another. Definitely found my new go to place for a quick, hot, and delicious meal.

This is the first time ordering from this location. We ordered on a Friday night 20 boneless spicy garlic wings. I called and placed the order ahead of time before picking it up. The lady on the phone stated it would be 20 minutes since this place is only 5 minutes from my house I waited 15 minutes and left. I still had to wait 10 minutes for my order to be complete. Honestly, I don’t think they starting cooking my boneless wings until I arrived to pick them up. The sauce was just ok, garlicky and a little spicy hence, spicy garlic. I would compare the spicy garlic to a mild/buttery on a «spicy scale». I could taste more garlic than spice. Overall the flavor was good! The blue cheese that came with the chicken was homemade and tasted exceptionally well! For my next visit I will for sure try a gyro or hummus some of their more traditional Mediterranean fare!

The Arabic items are the best, but their Greek salad is one I the few salads I crave since it’s topped with grilled meat, feta, and a simple olive oil and lemon juice dressing. The hummus and gyro meat is pretty great too. Five stars are for the food, not ambience.

Love the food at the other locations but had never benn here before. It was Sunday night, so I called to see if they were open. I called at 8;34pm. The guy that answered said they were open until 9. We left quickly and arrived at 8:49. The doors were locked and all lights were out. There was no sign on the door. This is rude and unprofessional!

Wing Station is a great place with an interesting name. I’ve been in this town for many years now, and have spent more hours across the street at UTMC/UTCOM/MCO/MUO(whatever you want to call it…) than I have at home. I’ve been to this plaza for Subway, Tasty Thai, and Doc Watsons, but never to Wings Station. I think what threw me off was the fact that it was called ‘Wing Station.’ Don’t get me wrong, I love wings, but just isn’t my calling on an everyday study night or a quick meal between rounds. BUT — that isn’t their winning item. Wings Station has maybe one of the best gyros in this town. We have a lot of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean places, and they’re good too, but the one here just stood out to me. It tastes fresh, it’s made in front of you, and if you want a little extra tzatziki sauce — they hook you up! It’s a made to order kind of place, and you really can’t go wrong. The concept of gyro is pretty basic, but something you can mess up. If there’s something you don’t like — let them know and they’re do it to it. When you first walk into the place it looks like any other restaurant. No major frills or thrills — just another place to be. Some tables are in front of you and the counter is to your left with an extensive menu up on the wall. They have wings(obviously) and some Mediterranean dishes. I’ve never had the wings, but I’ve had a few of the gyros and those are their kicker items. I wouldn’t get anything else despite the name. If you read my other posts and check-ins, you’ll see that I’m a man who enjoys a good smell. If it says anything about their food — you don’t really smell wings, you mostly smell the gyro meat. BUT maybe because that is the more pungent smell(?) who knows? If anything, lets keep Toledo alive. Go to the restaurant and give it a try. It’s small and local business that keeps Toledo alive, and well, this is the epitome of it. I don’t get too hungry when I write reviews, but this one definitely made my stomach grumble. Well, that could just be because I woke up an hour or so ago and have only had coffee and my stomach is telling me something. Whatever. In time.

This place get’s 5-stars purely for the supreme quality of its Gyro! When I used to live near Toledo in my youth I would eat Gyro’s here on a regular basis. I am assuming nothing has changed in the last seven years besides the name of the restaurant, which means this place should still have amazing Gyro’s. I guess it is ironic that its title boasts about wings when the Gyro is the true gem. When I used to eat at this place it was called«The Wing Station», as long as they are still using the same recipe it should still be considered a 5-star Gyro spot!

This place is awesome. I lived off their gyros during medical school – anytime I was starving I’d drop by for one of their gigantic, tasty, cheap gyros. It’s awesome that they roast their own meat and then grill it to order. Even though it’s «wings station» I’m not a fan of their buffalo wings. Pretty average size and a tabasco-based sauce. Hard to compete with Buffalo Wild Wings.
