Joined my sister there today. Had shrimp, chicken tenders and baby back ribs as well as the salad bar. Salad bar was great but have to say was not that pleased with our entrée. Ribs were very tender, meat fell off the bones, but was flavorless even after adding salt. Couldn’t finish one chicken tender, tasted old. Have to say customer service was pretty good.

Great salad bar, with lots of cold fresh veggies, and a variety of toppings, dressing and add-ons. Friendly and fairly attentive servers. Lots of good entre choices, from fall off the bone ribs, to good fresh beef burgers. I always get treated right here, and will be back!

Visited this evening and found an updated look, and then there was the very overcooked meal… disappointing. But, manager comped the meal and apologized. Very good table service and pleasant atmosphere. Because of this, I’ll give it another try soon.

I came to this Ruby Tuesday, because I recently had a wonderful experience at a different location. It had been years since I went to a Ruby Tuesday and I was surprised by their new allergen menu and menu choices, so when I was in town I decided to try this location. I was a bit disappointed. I arrived and I didn’t see any employees around. Eventually I was seated in the bar area. I wasn’t given a choice to sit in the dining room, which I would have preferred. I used the allergen menu to make my choices. The waitress seemed like she had never seen the allergen menu before, but she seemed knowledgable and wanted to talk about my experiences with being gluten free and dairy free. After ordering, I started to feel uneasy and think that she hadn’t really communicated my needs to the kitchen. I took a bite of my zucchini and immediately realized it was cooked in butter. She was quick to ask the kitchen and they made a new order for me. Luckily I am not allergic, just sensitive. I really enjoyed the waitress, but the allergen mix up definitely shades my review.

Worse service I have ever had, Brett was at the bar. only said 5 words to me the whole time. Got a Prime burger, Looked just like a regular one, was ok nothing to gloat about. Fries were the worse I have ever had in Toledo. I am warning all my friends to stay away from there, a VERY bad experience Oh almost forgot had a beer and never even asked if I wanted a refill.

First, the positive. The food was pretty good. Good enough for a typical chain restaurant. We also loved that there was a salad bar, although he prepared salads left a lot to be desired. Our waiter was very nice and a good attitude goes a very long way with me. Which is the only reason he received a tip. The bad. Well, For one, our drinks didn’t come until halfway through our meal. And my water came even later. Then the waiter brought us a fruit plate for our toddler who was getting antsy. He was not being a nuisance, yet… :P But to calm him, the waiter brought a fruit plate and I thought, ‘Wow! What great service!’(despite the drink debacle). Well, that was until we got the bill and found that we’d been charged $ 1.50 for that fruit plate we didn’t even ask for. That is a BIG no-no for me. 1) That fruit plate isn’t going to but Ruby Tuesday’s in the poor house and 2) I didn’t ask for it. You cannot charge me for something I didn’t ask for. Overall, It’s missable but it’s not miserable.

It’s been a few years since I went into a Ruby Tuesday. The salad bar was decent. A solid 4 star with 4 kinds of greens to mix and match. All the toppings were fresh and well stocked. The Salmon grill was good. Maybe a step up from Bob Evans but nothing close to the Salmon at Mancy’s Bluewater grill. The chicken strips were ok but nothing to write home about. The service was poor. One gal ran the bar and had responsibility for 10 tables and she still found time to flirt with a waiter at the end of the bar. We had ordered onion rings instead of fries. When the cook(?) ran the food out we told him… still no onion rings. We told the waitress as she flew by and she said she would get them… still no onion rings. We flagged down a manager who brought them out immediately and offered to comp our desserts. We had a chocolate cherry cheesecake and a blueberry cheesecake. the manager told us both were coming off the menu in the near future. Too bad as both desserts were decent. We ate one and took the other home for breakfast. This could be a solid place but it doesn’t seem to be well organized or managed. Still, 2 stars seems too low for the attention and quality of salad bar.

I dont know what has happened to the quality of the food here or if hit it on an off night, but the food ranged from mediocre to awful. I ordered a chicken and mushroom dish with spaghetti squash and union rings, my husband ordered bacon cheese burger with fries and the salad bar and for my baby daughter we ordered the childrens tomatoe with basil pasta. My chicken was actually cooked fairly well and was nice and juicy but was burried under so much salty mushroom and cheese sause you couldnt taste anything but the salt. The squash was nicely done and well seasoned and the onion rings were middle of the road. It ended up being the best part of my dish because it was the only thing eatible by my daughter. Her pasta was incredibly tough… either it was under done or really old. Given she has to molars, it was tough for her to eat. The sause was so acidic it was barely eatible. My husband’s burger was also extremely salty and his fries were okay. The salad bar was not worth the price. We were thinking of getting dessert, but decided against it given the quality of the food we recieved. If you like overly salty and over seasoned food, I guess eat here.

Went in for dinner tonight at about 7:25 pm. Stood and waited to get sat, and then sat at a table for over five minutes without any server stopping. Took off before we ordered food and had an even worse experience.

The food isn’t bad, but nothing really sets it apart. I like the salad bar, but wish they had a bigger menu selection.

We came in at 11:30 am for lunch. Even though it is a chain restaurant, we think it is a nice looking restaurant and the food is OK. The salad bar is always fresh and has the ingredients we enjoy on a salad. We also like the menu selections and and service we get. I used the restroom prior to being sat. The restrooms were very dirty and stinky like a gas station bathroom. It was so gagging bad from a very strong urine smell and being dirty, I had to hold my breath as much as I could. I didn’t touch anything with out a paper towel including the very dirty door handle. I told our server who immediately pointed me to the manager on duty.(What a way to throw your manager under the bus) I told both of them how disgusting the bathrooms were and this concerned me because we were getting ready to eat. To me a beautiful restaurant should have clean bathrooms. This has clearly been neglected for days with the cast of dirt around the walls, sink counter, baseboards, and handles etc. We ate, then I used the bathrooms from all of the iced tea I drank. The bathrooms were not touched. They were still a mess. I went home and threw up because I was so grossed out. Businesses succeed or fail based on not only their companies core values but also on the leaders they place in their store’s. If it were me and a guest came up to me and complained I would have gone in their with the person that was supposed to clean it and clean it up. Then I would have gone to the guest, apologize and thank them for their concern. I never saw the manager after my complaint until we were almost finished. He never approached me or any other table who came in from being outside. I am totally shocked and insulted to think that no one cared to clean the bathrooms after a guest mentioned it. We want Ruby Tuesday’s to succeed in Toledo but with no one caring, who cares? Now I now why the waiter we had threw the manager under the bus. He doesn’t give a crap about his restaurant. You should take pride in your people and store don’t show up to work if you are only there for a lousy salary check. Man I fell better now! :)

Listen — I get that this is a chain restaurant… but holy hell, the bacon blue burger on the pretzel bun is nothing less than amaze balls. Not kidding. Staff can be a bit overbearing at times, but at least the chairs are way comfy.

Though not normally a chain that my family likes, this particular branch seems to be an exception to the rule. The food and service here seem to be better than the average Ruby Tuesday. This time that we dropped in, they had apparently been very busy as well. A combination of Saturday night with the Toledo Zoo lights down the street appeared to have caused a boom in business that left the servers scrambling to refill the salad bar, find empty tables, and also had exhausted their supply of the coconut shrimp featured as a special. Still, everyone seemed in an infectiously good mood, including our helpful server. With the shrimp not an option, I decided to try the petit sirloin… and negated any healthy aspects of the meal by ordering onion rings with it. Doing over, I probably should have gone with one of the other sides. They are, after all, one of the more interesting aspects of Ruby Tuesdays. Along with fries and such, the place also offers green beans, spaghetti squash, snap peas, mashed cauliflower, and other things you don’t usually see, especially not at a chain. As it turned out, the onion rings were good but a bit greasy for my tastes. I preferred the spaghetti squash my Mom ordered. Nice texture, mild flavor, and relatively low in calories too… it would have been a better option. The steak, meanwhile, was good for a non-steakhouse steak. It was a bit salty and had that«tenderized» flavor, but I enjoyed it for what it is. My family, meanwhile, ordered an herb crusted tilapia(mom’s favorite) and Asian glazed salmon which they said were good. The highlight, though, was the salad bar. The ingredients offered are fresh and varied, including thin-sliced tomatoes, lima beans, and peas among other things. There are also some premade cream salads(I gather the Waldorf salad is great — I’m just not a fan), and a wide selection of dressings. When we went, things were in the process of being replenished, but despite the apparent aftermath of a dinner rush, the set up was organized and clean. Anyway, it’s a great way to get some vegetables with your meal. Or make a meal of vegetables. I also enjoyed a seasonal sangria served with a sprig of rosemary. I don’t know it tastes much different than normal sangria, but its appearance is quite festive. The tiramisu was also good, if not exceptional. I am told the cupcakes are pretty good, though. They also have a cheese cake that has blackberries on it that always tempts me. Overall, I would say 3 or 3.5 stars for the steak and onion rings, but round up for the service and salad bar.

I love the staff at this location! They make you feel right at home and are very attentive. The ambiance is very much like most of the other locations. The food is always fresh here and very hot. Everything on the menu is wonderful… I love the shrimp fondue and the shrimp. Alot of times I just go to sit at the bar for some me time and watch the television or people watch.
