I ordered the country fried steak special with choice of 2 eggs, hash browns and toast. My girlfriend order a skillet with eggs, hash browns and cheese. The good news was when I asked if the country fried steak with homemade they said yes the bad news is whether it’s homemade or not it was terrible. It tasted like a thin hamburger patty or Salisbury steak breaded and fried. The sausage gravy was very greasy and the oil floated to the top. It was just missing the flavor. And to me it tasted frozen. I also ordered poached eggs and the eggs that came out were shaped like little cups in a steaming tray. The yolks are cooked hard. So two bites of a steak and 2 bites of the egg and I was done. We both ordered hot chocolate which tasted like hot water with a little Coco. Overall I was not impressed at all. They could do much better. As far as I could tell they seem to be the only breakfast place in the area. I’ll probably go back and just order a BLT. My girlfriend liked the skillet. Recommendation to the owner… If you tell people that you have poached eggs and don’t then tell me and I would get fried eggs. But those rubbery over cooked basket type eggs are called basted or steamed, not poached. I didn’t complain there and just told he I was done. If I was the server I would have asked why I didn’t eat anything but a couple bites. On a positive note the Raisin toast was good.

This was a disappointment. While there was plenty of seating and the space was clean and a pleasant temperature, the breakfast was mediocre at best. The scrambled eggs were dry, bland and tough. The bacon also was tough. The toast was over buttered. And the coffee was watered down. The service was attentive, though not friendly. There were two mistakes in our order, though we chose not to mention them. When she cleared our table, taking my half-uneaten breakfast, she didn’t even ask if everything was ok.(Nor did she ask any of the time she topped off our coffee.) Most of the other diners were groups of retirees and gave the impression they were regulars. They may come for the socialization more than the food. Their pizza may be good, but their breakfast was not.

Food was good and came out quick. It also was priced well. Had to wait 5 – 10 minutes for the server, as they had one server for the entire place, but that was no big deal.

Fantastic pizza! The old Salad Bowl recipe I think. Great space and service! We will definitely be back soon!

Great time. Wonderful service, and especially good with the kids. Great breakfast choices(try the cornbeef hash & Swiss omelette!) and wonderful pizzas too! You can even have them pre-make a pizza for take out that you can bring home to bake! Awesome. All desserts, soups and pastries are made from scratch. Service is fast, efficient and very friendly. Make sure you ask for Amy! :)
