My husband and I had a wonderful meal here Thursday celebrating our wedding anniversary. We both ordered steaks that were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. She had the Filet and I had the NY Strip. We enjoyed the salads and the side items as well. We both had a wonderful dessert to finish our meal. We were both impressed with both the quality of the food and the service received that we made reservations for Mother’ Day Brunch for the entire family. We look forward to this experience.

Service was excellent. Very cute and cozy little café with very reasonable prices. I ordered the greek omelette, it was good but too salty and had too much feta cheese. I’d come here again, but order something different.

This was such a cute place, and if I lived in Holly, I would come to the Bittersweet Café all the time! I was driving from Detroit to Emmet County and wanted some breakfast. I had the time to get away from the highway/peruse indie options on Unilocal,so I picked this café on a whim and LOVED it. The food was delicious, waitress was super friendly, and the interior was decorated in the nicest way. Great ambiance, very comfortable, and the price was right! Whoever is running that place is doing it right! Would love to go back again.

First impressions are everything! This is the second time I’ve been here and I was greeted with the same smile and sincere appreciation for my business. I absolutely love the elaborate ceiling, rustic wood work and brick walls! There are great kitschy photographs throughout and I love the Tiffany lamps and the lace curtain at the tops of the front windows! There are 2 TVs but they’re smaller and they are muted! Yay! So, you hear the gentle chatter of conversation and some good tunes lightly playing overhead. I started with the coffee flavor of the day which is dark chocolate mint and it is fabulous! I’ve never been able to drink black coffee but I didn’t need one ounce of sweetener or cream in this one! Delicious! Their sandwiches range from $ 6.99 to $ 9.49. I’m trying to watch my pennies but I absolutely had to try the Battle Alley Beef($ 9.29) because my server said it was one of her favorites and the words«slow roasted beef and melted bleu cheese» caught my attention! Oh my gosh! Worth every penny! From the first bite, it was heaven! I have band rehearsal every Tuesday morning so this will be one of many future visits!

Love this place. I’ve always got the same(grilled veggie sandwich) and is is always tasty. While the prices are under $ 10, the portions are on the small size, and normally I wouldn’t go back because of that, but my wife and I loved going here because of how good those grilled veggie sandwiches where. nice gem Holly. I sorta want to knock them down a half start because of the different close time, which quite often it would be closed.

Really good food and friendly service! It’s small, so prefer to go during the week when it’s not as busy. Definitely a great local business that I like to support.

This place was really neat. Very small, but the waitresses seem to know everyone in there and treated them like family. Food was great! Service was great too!

Pretty good place to eat in Holly. Some good choices of sandwiches and salads. I like the different daily soup selections to choose from. I wish some of the portions were a bit larger for the price point. BUT other than that I enjoy everything else about this establishment.

Good food, fast service. A little pricey but it was good and it’s really a quaint little place. Very pleasant, nice downtown business. Will return if I am back in Holly again. Had the traditional pastrami with coleslaw. A little messy an the coleslaw was strange, but the sandwich was a nice change of pace with the yellow peppers

Just okay. Somewhat overpriced for what you get. Staff is friendly. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Coffee was weak & biscuits were microwaved. Eggs were great. Hard to find a meatless breakfast. I wasn’t looking for drinks. I see blackstone is closed across the street. Nobody ever very long.

One of my all time favorites in Holly. The best food and employees makes this place a great café. Now they server beer and wine and the Friday night crowds are getting larger every week. Next time you are in Holly, Michigan make sure you stop by this café it’s well worth it.

What a cute little joint! Amidst the small Downtown Holly sits this cute café that serves breakfast/brunch and lunch items. This was our first time coming here, and boy do I wish we came here sooner! Plus it’s super close to us, so that is great! We came close around 3:30pm on a Saturday, so it was close to quitting time(they close at 4pm on the weekends btw). The lady, however, was super nice and told us that they were still preparing food. Since they have a large selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads, it took us some time to decide what to order. After a few minutes, we ordered: Pastrami Reuben($ 8.95) and the Herbed Turkey Grill($ 7.95). The portions are decent for the price, but the standout of the two was the Herbed Turkey Grill sandwich. Served on Pumpernickel bread, the sandwich consisted of thinly sliced roasted turkey, baby spinach, tomato, cheddar cheese, and a thousand island-ish sauce. Since they were closing, the lady apologized for the smaller amount of turkey in the sandwich and only charged us $ 4. We appreciated her honesty. :) The Pastrami Reuben sandwich was pretty lean and had a nice flavor, but we still prefer the texture of the one from Stage Deli. However, for the price, it was still yummy and the portion was good. Chips were served with it, but were a tad too salty, so we didn’t eat all of them. I’d be curious to see what their soups and breakfast items are like here, so I’ll come back another time and give another update. I highly recommend coming here if you happen to be visiting the North Oakland County area!

We spent the night at my brothers in Holly MI after a fun night at DTE(Pine Knob). In the morning we were looking for a good breakfast place nearby. We found this little hole in the wall in the quaint«downtown» area of Holly. Boy am I glad we did. They had gourmet coffees and juices(those hit the spot!) and an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Everything we ordered was very tasty. Notable dishes– Ham and egg on a croissant and the open faced veggie omelet(the special that day). If you find yourself in Holly, this place is definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch.
