Ewers Septic Service

I made an appointment for septic tank clean out several weeks ago. The woman who booked the appointment said her guys would be out between 1 and 5 ISH. She stressed the ISH. She said they would call ½ hour before arriving. I assumed that the ISH meant they would be there closer to 5 than 1. Well 1pm comes and goes. 2,3,4,5,6pm come and go too. At a little after 6pm the phone rings. We figured let’s not go through this again and just get it over with so we told them to come on over.
That’s when I realized how their day goes. Our tank lid was old and required quite a bit of digging to open the tank. That’s when I realized how difficult is is for them to give you a more specific time as to when they will arrive for service. They were very nice and answered all our questions. That’s when their job really hit home. Now about 8pm, they not only had one more job to go to, but they had to go empty their truck before that. Not knowing if the lid has been dug up or how much is to be drained from each tank, and not knowing when they will have to empty their truck, how the heck can they get to your house at a specific time. I believe they absolutely earn their money and I would use them again.

We were scheduled to have our septic tank emptied, sometime today, no clue as to am or pm. I dug out the dirt to expose the lid, then around noon they called to cancel. They said they would be out in 1 week.
That didn’t sit well with me, so I found another company to do the job. Not sure if they only work 1 day a week, but I’ll take my business elsewhere.
