Great food! If I lived here I would eat here all the time. Mild salsa is really good, but I like mine a little hotter so we ordered the spicy salsa and it was good also but not as good as the milds flavor.

If you’re looking for fantastic Mexican food in Hollywood– this really isn’t it. It good, though. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. But, service was great, my fajitas were piping hot and pretty good, beer was cold. My partner had the chicken soup and flautas. Both were pretty good. Would definitely come back.

I found this Mexican joint on Unilocal and my boss and I were only about 10 minutes away so we decided to give it a shot. We were VERY skeptical when we pulled up because it is not in the best neighborhood. We walked in and sat by the window so we could keep an eye on our cars. The restaurant is plain and cozy; definitely a casual spot. The menu was pretty extensive and well priced. The service was extremely friendly and prompt. Our server brought over chips, salsa and pico right away. The salsa was delicious! We both ordered fajitas for dinner and they came out hot and delicious. I was pretty impressed! The quantity of food was large so I took home the left overs and enjoyed a whole other meal out of it. If I was in the area I would definitely go back here!

Call me crazy but at last I have arrived… it was crazy getting here I first tried Jaxson’s because it looks so cool with the flashy sign and all but for a multitude of reasons I left mainly just due to absurd pricing. I then stopped by Tarks and not that there is anything wrong with dive restaurants the poor waitress was so far behind the place just looked ran through… naturally being a Texan my next try was El Paso’s! Mexican doesn’t seem to be that popular Around here which I cant for the life of me figure out why. Yup it was great! Great service great salsa great enchiladas pricing wasn’t stupid! I like!!!

This little gem is my one stop shop for killer homemade chicken soup. It is so delicious, the flavors and ingredients are out of this world. If your sick or in the mood for some homemade chicken soup this is the place. The price are reasonable and I highly recommend checking them out if your in the area.

This is our new favorite restaurant in Hollywood. The food was good and it’s so affordable I can see why regulars come here multiple times a week. The pizza was filled with caramelized onions and was sooooo good. The chips, salsa and guac were really good too. We ordered a side of yellow rice and a bean and cheese burrito and all were simple and delicious. As vegetarians it’s not easy to find many places to eat so we are happy to find that this restaurant is vegetarian friendly. The beans are vegetarian! Next time I’m going to eat less so I can try the fried ice cream. We are definitely returning. I would like to add that I am in the mood for their food today but my family does not feel like going out to eat and I am bummed that they do not deliver!

First time here, the vegetarian Fajita was good but I would not put broccoli carrots and cauliflower(peppers onions and mushrooms should’ve been enough). They charge extra for the guacamole in the fajita. The flan was good(if you want to cut down on calories let them know to hold the whipped cream). Service was good and cordial. I would come back and will try something else.

Ate here with my sister. Not from around here and decided to go to. Fish Taco’s were on point! I loved the chicken enchilada!!! On a down side. Wasn’t much a fan of the rice. All in all. Very satisfied with my whole experience.

In my opinion this is the best Cuban-Mexican restaurant around considering the price range. Very nice food, spicy only if you want to.

Second time dining here and it’s always because of a celebration. First it was our anniversary and last Jan 9, it was for a birthday. We didn’t think they’ll have something like what TGIFS or Cheesecake Factory’s do for a happy birthday performance but yes this TexMex restaurant did surprise us with a birthday song, and a cheesecake! For a Siesta dine in, the margarita was awesome and the unlimited nachos and salsa is already filling. Managed to eat a fourth of the beef and chicken stir fry and took home most of our orders. I promised that as long as we live in Hollywood Fl, we will have our celebrations here. Kudos to the staff!

El Paso is a definite«meh» kinda place. I had high hopes when i walked in and saw the décor and the menu. But since I was looking for a legit Mexican resto(in my continued search for good Mexican), I was a bit dissapointed to find yellow rice and what could be store bought taco shells. That said the food tasted pretty good, it was just a bit bland and too basic. There were two kinds of salsa, one mild, one hot. The mild salsa was watery and tasted of tomatoes and not much else. The hot salsa was pretty tasty and, in fact, it pretty much saved the day. I ordered a chimichanga and the inside filling was also just plain shredded chicken, with no seasoning or sauce inside. The hot salsa was definitely needed to spice and flavor up my dish. I did see some other dishes come out that looked better than my choice, so maybe I just had a bad order. The fajitas looked and smelled quite tasty and if I’m ever back, I may give those a try, but not sure this place would be too high on my list of spots to return to, just due to overall flavorlessness. The thing is that with most Mex places, you don’t need a ton of fancy ingredianets, just to get the simple flavors right.

If this restaurant is any indication of how my new year will be, I’m off to a great start! I found this restaurant in the most peculiar way. I almost rear ended a car right in front of this restaurant. I looked to the side and saw the restaurant. Looked them up in Unilocal and the reviews were favorable. What a little gem of a restaurant this place is! This restaurant has those things that I look for in a good restaurant. It may not be the prettiest, but the food is amazing, the service is great, and the prices are super affordable. They serve all your Mexican favorites among with a combination of other Hispanic dishes. I ordered the Chimichanga which was probably the tastiest one I’ve ever had. I asked for the ground beef one, and the beef was seasoned deliciously. It came with a side of refried beans and yellow rice. Also came with guacamole and sour cream. All the food tasted delicious. For dessert, I had the fried ice cream which was okay in my opinion. It was very sweet. I’ll skip dessert next time. In my opinion, this is a good find for a Mexican restaurant and it is worth the drive for anyone to go try them out.

I went on a Sunday for lunch and only 2 other tables were seated. Staff was super friendly and efficient with service. They provide you with free chips and salsa. Salsa is fresh and they have mild and spicy(not super hot). I had the beef chunk burrito with refried beans on the side $ 8. The burrito has melted cheese on top and a brown gravy. It is a stew like meat. The burrito is similar to La Bamba. This place is good and if I am in the area I would go again. There is plenty of parking in the attached parking lot. It is not what I would consider as authentic Mexican food. They also serve Cuban food.
