Cue the character overly excited for chocolate in SpongeBob. CHOOOCOLAAAAATE! I can’t fathom the amount of chocolate that were snuggled on the shelves and behind the glass counter. So many choices! Chocolate truffle, chocolate bark, chocolate-covered gummies, chocolate-covered fruit, chocolate-covered nuts, chocolate covered chocolate, and chocolate. They had free samples ready for us to try, so my honey and I had the pleasure to indulge on a piece of the Boca Latte — a chocolate with a bold taste of espresso. It truly was a rich, melt-in-your-mouth treat! After having salmon sushi+sashimi dinner a few doors down, we craved for dessert beyond chocolate. Luckily, they also sell ice cream! Also, they have frozen hot chocolate, milkshakes, and even fudge. The ice cream flavor that stood out to us was the Bear Claw(dark chocolate — my weakness — ice cream with caramel and chocolate-covered cashews). So we got a waffle cone with that and Special Praline(vanilla ice cream with praline and caramel). Definitely a treat worth having in the warm Florida evenings! Customer service was on point, and the interior gives me the 60s vibe, as if I could enjoy my ice cream in a poodle skirt, hehe. I asked if they had other locations, and it turns out, there’s a lot scattered around in BPB! Some to mention, the first location is in Green Acres, there’s one in Boca Raton, and they’re planning on opening one in Weston. Next time, I want to try the frozen hot chocolate! And the chocolate truffles like the Grand Marnier Truffle or the Sweet Run Truffle. I also wouldn’t mind snagging myself a bag of dark chocolate-covered cashews or even a bag of dark chocolate-covered pretzels. So much to choose from!
