JP’s Bagel Place

This place is a total gem. I just discovered it yesterday and loved it so much that I went back again for breakfast today. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. I did take out both times and it was very fast and fresh. The staff is also super friendly. They have definitely got themselves a new regular customer.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot of all time. Compared to other top quality places, their prices are ridiculously cheap and their service is crazy fast. Seriously, no matter how packed the restaurant Is the food comes out in less than 10 minutes. The service is always prompt & polite and the food is always high quality. We’re slowly but surely making our way down the long list of different bagels they have. Top favorites are the Bialy and Everything Wheat Bagel. We also love the spinach feta omelette with egg whites only, it always comes out perfectly cooked. And they don’t cause a fuss when you ask for substitutions on the orders. Haven’t tried pancakes or sandwiches yet.

Sunday was a lazy day. Well I was getting things done but around the house and thought to see who delivers breakfast int he Hollywood area. I really thought it was a long shot but Unilocal helps with long shots.
A good quick app search and, bam, a top rated breakfast place that delivers.
I wasn’t going to believe it till it happened but when the goods showed up.
It took a little longer than I would have thought, almost an hour, but It was a Sunday busy morn, and it was the first time the driver had been my way.
I got a omelette and a bagel with salmon and lox. Everything was fantastic. I over-​ordered but better to over order than under I say.
I will plan to eat at JP’s soon so I get the full experience, but meanwhile I have a go-​to place to order from. Victory!

JP’s is a cozy little diner that serves up some of the breakfast in Hollywood. Their in-​house bagels and cream cheese are to die for and the ham and eggs are my favorite. Hash browns and a hot cup of coffee make it complete and will keep you coming back to this local favorite.

Been coming here for awhile. Small but efficient! They have great food +good portions, affordable, and fantastic service!

I’m a fan of the small hole in the wall establishments. They tend to feed you well and at affordable prices. JP’s is no exception. It’s small and doesn’t have the most modern décor, but what it lacks in asthetics it more than makes up for in quality and flavor.
There are 9 stools at the bar top area and 9 tables (most for a max of 4 people). Yes it is a bit more cramped than other establishments, but again, the food is worth it. Their food is simple but packed with great flavor. There are only female waitresses. They are great, the food comes out fast, & is made to order.
I highly recommend their potatoe pancakes. They are hearty, well seasoned, and served with your choice of applesauce or thick sourcream (which is excellent and very thick). Two of them is only $ 4.95 and fill you up. Another good choice are the burgers. A juicy serving of beef between bun with your typical veggie companions with a side of fries. Not super greasy, but also very flavorful.

Horrible service. Not going back there.
Bagels are good though, I took one with cream cheese, but eggs are tasteless.

Hole in the wall, small and décor probably not updated since it opened. Bagel person calls orders to line cook in the back and food is out in a snap even when the place is packed. Waitresses tag team tables so anyone will help you without issue. Food is good and hot.

Fast service and PURE DELICIOUSNESS! Veggies and meat eaters alike will NOT be disappointed at JP’s. It’s small… Typical diner atmosphere… Nothing fancy… Tons of YUM! We ate here when we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale for our cruise. Even with all the complimentary, round the clock dining offered onboard our ship — JP’s was heavy on our minds and stomachs the entire time. We got packed, up, off the ship and through customs ASAP — simply to have time to dine at JP’s again before our flight boarded. We made it here… And they made it even more DELICIOUS than our first visit!

Pretty good bagels. Good French toast. And a very authentic dinner atmosphere could be out of a movie. From the waitresses to the customers. Also, the food is crazy cheap. Way too cheap. Like a nicer Waffle House.

Absolutely love this place. Come here at least once a week and the staff is super sweet. Home fries and coffee they serve here is to die for and it’s affordable. Parking lot is small since it’s a small breakfast spot but it’s worth the wait.

Great place! Food is GOOD, service is excellent, the owners are awesome, the price is perfect for the portion they serve you. Wonderful place. Love it there.

My grandmother took me here when I was a child and I was shocked to see that it was still here after I returned from living in New York for many years! I remember the food being amazing back then and so I tried it only to realize that the food is still GREAT and the service is AWESOME!

Found this place on Unilocal and glad we gave it a try. We are from NJ so our standards for bagels are very high, these bagels were actually really good and comparable to NJ bagels.
I had a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was very good. My husband had eggs, bacon and choc chip pancakes and he said everything was very good too. He really liked the pancakes. Coffee was a little weak but that’s ok!
We had breakfast at another place close by the day before and this breakfast was much better! We would definitely go back if we’re in the area again.

Got here 10 mins before opening. There was already older people waiting. And there if there is one thing older people know is where the good food is at. We sang happy birthday to one of the ladies in the staff. It’s a tiny and cozy place, the ladies seemed to know the order for the guys waiting outside. Service was great, bagel was delicious and prices were cheap.

This place has been my go-​to breakfast stop for some time. The front of house staff is brilliant, the food is very good and portion size is good. The experience is better than my rating indicates.
Unfortunately, two weeks ago I had a run-​in with their cook in the parking lot. He was chatting in back with someone in a car. The car was blocking parking spaces so I honked and finally parked. I got out of the the car to the cook right in my face yelling at me, claiming he was JP III and had the power to ban me from the restaurant (he is not) along with a a lot of other unpleasantness. I walked inside, explained my issue to the staff. There was some confusion but he told his story, out of hearing range, which didn’t remotely describe the truth of the situation. The chose to believe this person rather than than a loyal customer whose only complaint has ever been that the eggs were occasionally over cooked.
I can’t go back. Who knows what this delusional cook will do to my food.
It makes me sad to lose such a great neighborhood eatery but nobody should treat a customer the way this guy did!
UPDATE: I’m happy to say the delusional cook is gone and the staff invited me back via messaging.
Same excellent food and a new crop of servers brought on while I was «on strike».
Thank heavens I can stop eating my own crappy home fries and mediocre cooking!

I love this place! service is good. They are fast, and they want you out ass soon as possible. LOL… Good prices. Big portions.
Bagels, omelets, eggs everything is good.
For the first timers, it’s a small place but I totally recommend it. I know that is in business for 100 years, just saying…
The fifth star (it’s actually a 4 stars place) is for not having a TV!!! Hate places with TVs.
Please stay like that meaning size and concept. Owners get greedy.

I really like this little breakfast place. They are quick. Service is good. Price is cheap. Portion size are huge. You definitely don’t leave hungry. Just got to get here before the 10am rush.
I know this sounds random, but while sitting here, the USPS mail lady just delivered a package. When did this start? Isn’t it Sunday?

Great food-​what a surprise!!! Found this place on Unilocal while driving to Key Largo with a group of friends.
Small place reminiscent of a 50s diner. Counter space and table seating. Lots of staff so orders were taken quickly and the food was prepared well and served about 10 minutes after ordering (not bad for a group if ten).
EVERYBODY enjoyed their food: bacon n eggs, bagel n lox, turkey burger, corned beef and potatoes… we were all over the menu and ate every last bite.
Prices are SUPER CHEAP: 2 eggs w bacon and potatoes (cheapest) — steak n eggs $ 8.50 (most expensive). See pic of menu for more details.

If your looking for a tasty, cheap place to stop for breakfast stop in. It’s right off the 95 at Hollywood Boulevard.
Two lil issues worth mentioning: bathroom not so great and there was a long hair on our bacon.
