Really great spot! It was laid back and fun to be at after a long day by the pool! They had a sushi bar to go along with their full bar and regular menu. The waitress was really nice & remembered us when we went back again! This was by far our favorite spot during our Diplomat stay! I had the chicken quesadilla and it was really good!

You should definitely consider leaving the Diplomat to get food and drink. The service here is mediocre, mostly because everything in the resort automatically adds a tip to your bill, so there is no motivation to provide good service, and it shows. Took forever to get a drink, and then took forever again to get a second. We learned our lesson, go down the street for better service and reasonable prices!

Sitting here right now. Service is terrible. Waited 20 min for someone to aknowledge then got my coffee from nearby shop, then the server came. And its a Sunday!

We decided to have dinner at 10 pm and Bar Su is the most convenient place to go to. It’s just in the lobby of the Westin Diplomat. For a Tuesday night, the place is packed. Then I ordered spicy tuna roll and chicken wings while my hubby ordered the Kobe burger with fries and a Cuban mojito. The spicy tuna roll has too much rice on it, and the chicken wings, they put the sauce on the side so the wings is basically very fried plain chicken wings. My hubby enjoyed his burger though, the service is okay that’s why I am giving 3 stars, food itself is 1 star for me.

Decent food, terrible service! Stayed at the Westin diplomat and ate here twice. Service was bad the first time, took at least 10 mins for any server to acknowledge our presence. Was hoping for better the second time around, no such luck. Giving it 2 stars because the food we were eventually served was pretty good.

This is the sushi bar located in the lobby of the Westin Diplomat. It services very nice sushi for a hotel restaurant/​bar, but a little expensive. Service is great and the setting is classy. Worth a try if you’re staying here!
