We have been to this location 3 times… Twice we had Candice as our waitress and she was awesome! She actually remembered us which was nice considering how busy this location always is. This location is always busy it is amazing we went on a weeknight and they had a wait! Once you are seated at your table it is very easy to see why they are always busy and how they have won a bunch of awards. The waiters and waitress’s are super busy but are on top of everything. The food comes out at with perfect timing and is right… All around an excellent experience! When you go ask for Candice she will make a good meal even better.

We loved our servant Sidney, who was running like crazy to service all tables but we waited for our food for 45 minutes, our drinks didn’t get any refill and even when we asked for water it took 15 min. Food was ok, portions big… and unfortunately we never got to dessert because of the waiting time… maybe it was just a bad night…

Food was delicious and cook followed instructions. Our waiter appears to be very busy, but was respectful and nice. However, the waiting period to get our food was more than the average time.

Five stars for the service, three stars for the food. Sophie came over right away and was on point taking care of us the entire evening. I ordered a soup and appetizer and she asked me when I would like them to be served, so that my friend’s main course would be eaten at the same time. The food arrived promptly, just the way we ordered it, and Sophie was around checking on us the entire time. Now for the food: The bread and butter that were served were absolutely delicious. The bread was warm and soft and sliced on a cutting board. I ordered the lobster/shrimp chowder. It was lukewarm and tasted like cream of potato soup. I then order the appetizer: Calamari with sweet chili sauce. The sauce was good and the calamari were pretty fresh but they were also lukewarm and very small. The portion was huge and I had to take some of that home. Good Value. While I think the food quality and temperature need to be improved the service here and value are good.

We came here on Friday night around 6:55 and were seated within 15 – 20 minutes, which was great! While we were waiting, we sat at the bar and discovered we had just made it for the last 5 minutes of happy hour. Cocktails for $ 5, draft beer for $ 3, and discounted wine too. Pretty good deal! I had the cucumber mojito and it tasted pretty watery, unfortunately. My husband had the martini and thought it was good. Anyhow, the service was great, we were seated for dinner, and continued to have great service. The only downside is the size of the building, it is somewhat small and they cram in a ton of tables. There is not much space to walk between tables to get from the front to back or to the restroom. The food was food, for a chain restaurant, so overall I’d give it 4 stars!

Service and quality of food has gone sadly down lately! Party of 5 on a Thursday at 4 pm, we were one out of three tables in the restaurant. Ordered some apps. They came out after 20 minutes, no share plates. Sam Adams mussels tasted fishy. Had to ask 3 times before we received bread. Never got offered for refills on Beer or iced tea, had to track down our server to get refills. Sweet potatoes came out burnt, salmon came out fishy, steak over cooked. Dessert & coffee were tasty however had no spoons when dessert came out. Server brought them over a couple minutes after saying she wanted to make sure the spoons she gave us were clean… Uh what??? Our server was nice but seemed painfully new and nobody attempted to help her bus the tables or get refills, Etc.

Happy to announce that a return visit to this location was MUCH better than my last visit, and in turn a star upgrade is needed! My dad originally picked to go to a competing chain steak place, but I said NOWAY, LongHorn is the only casual, steak chain that I’ll go to and got him to change his mind lol. He did admit he has a bad obsession with the LongHorn bread, so he was happy to go along. We arrived to dinner on a weeknight at 6:45pm and found the place pretty packed! I was surprised at just how busy it was, but there still wasn’t a wait for a table. The service was much better than the last time I was here, and even the GM was bouncing around the restaurant making sure things were running smoothly. Almost as soon as we were sat drink orders were taken and we put in an appetizer order as well. Once the drinks were brought out we went ahead and ordered our entrees. Our server did check on us repeatedly and the food came out quickly. My one complaint would be the order in which things came out of the kitchen. Our entrees included side salads, which came out first, then our appetizer and then our free bread, making our table in the beginning a little bit cluttered and crazy. Side salads, were side salads, and don’t really have any comments there. The Fried Green Tomatoes App was just as good as I remembered(they seem to have perfected the recipe over the years), and wow, the free bread! Usually I skip the carbs, but my father insisted I try it and I was hooked! For entrees we both opted for the 6oz sirloin special which included the side salad and one side(apparently asparagus has an up-charge!), and the steak came with one of three toppings. I went with the jalapeño topping which was SPICY, but awesome at the same time, and I was even more thankful for the bread to cut some of the heat in my mouth. Must say that for less than $ 15, this was a deal, and my steak came out perfectly cooked at medium rare. To be honest, LongHorn isn’t my first choice for a steak restaurant, I do prefer my steak nights to be slightly fancier… but if you’re looking for a cheaper evening out, then definitely consider LongHorn to be the best of the best for a casual steak!

We came back here again for lunch and it did not disappoint. When I saw my co-worker ordered the 7-spice sirloin salad at a business lunch, I told myself I am going to order that for myself because it looked delicious. Well, as it turned out, it tasted better than I expected. The salad tasted crisp and fresh. I order the ranch dressing on the side so the salad wouldn’t get soggy. And the sirloin… wow! I am not sure what the 7-spices were, but the flavor was very good. The steak was cooked nice and juicy, and with the right temperature the way I liked. My wife ordered the 1⁄3 burger and salad combo and she liked too! I opted out the beer during this visit and went with the sweet ice tea instead. The total bill for our lunch was about 20 bucks, which beats MickyD and Taco Hell any day. One more thing I need to mention on our visit. The service was terrific. We sat at the bar where there was only one bartender working. Our bartender Jessica J took very good care of us. She not only had to take care of the customers sitting at the bar, she also had to take care the customers sitting in the bar area while she had to do all the drink orders for the entire restaurant. That’s a great customer service where the staff went above and beyond of their jobs. Well done!

Beside the slow service, we really enjoyed our food. Party of 5 We were going to start off with the corn fritters, that I was so excited about. Which the server informed me of what exactly they were, thank goodness. I would have been so disappointed if she didn’t. Instead we went with the stuffed mushrooms and oh my gosh… They were extremely delicious! My favorite new appetizer. We also ordered onion tonions, which were also pretty good! Down note, at one point three of us had empty glasses… Uhh This should be a new service point with staff. We had to ask someone else to refill us. Anyways then out entrees came out and Ohhh wow it was great!!! I got bacon and cheese stuffed sirloin. Forever my favorite. Everyone was exited about there food. We got our bill and it was 147 $, not too bad for a party if 5. We’ll be back again!

What a horrible experience it was eating here the other night. First I asked for a booth and(with many booths open) the assistant to the assistant manager put us in a long table-banquette sort of affair at the very end of the restaurant. Normally I will not go to huge chain steak places, but they were open late and we were hungry. Whatamistake!!! It’s part of the dreadful Darden conglomerate that is responsible for some of the worst food in America. This offshoot claims to have a SORTATEXASFEEL. It does not have any Texas feel to it that I could see. I must say that the first thing I noticed was a one and half foot tear in the cheap plastic seat(it had be mended with airplane tape, but had long since fallen almost off). Then came the server who had this I could care less attitude and she plopped two menus with addendums not attached of the«specials». I asked her how long had the specials been specials and she replied, «A long time, I guess.» We only got one knife and one fork wrapped in the cheapest napkin I have yet encountered in a major chain. We asked for another and some more napkins. When she returned I could not believe the size of the add-on napkins; they were smaller than Burger King’s and as thin as toilet paper. I learned many years ago from the French to put a large linen napkin around my neck in iffy joints like this but the wee nasties didn’t allow for that. It reminded me of the time I went to a Subway and requested more napkins because they were so small and thin and the counterjerk said«NO!» I asked why and he told me it was company policy. I laughed in his face and walked out; happily the dump is now closed. I hope the same fate happens here as well as their other ventures in food disaster. First we tried their cornstarch supreme crab and lobster soup-bisque thing; revolting. I thought I couldn’t go too far astray if I ordered a «filet mignon», but It sho weren’t «mignon» and if it was from the tenderloin it must have been from a very old cow indeed. It was tough and had NO flavor. The presentation was bad as well. The tough steak was served on an oversized white plate with horseradish mashed potatos that tasted mostly of hot horseradish Well I should have known better. They had no WiFi and it seemed as if they blocked any other WiFi so I couldn’t get on the net and had to dowload pics from my computer in order to give you a picture of this mess. It was supposed to come with a salad, but she never brought them out. Ho hummmm. My dinner guest ordered something called portabello serloin which was much too tough to eat(because it was chuck) smeared with cornstarch-garlic-glue and a few sick portabellos. WOW, that breath after eating that garlic mess. It came with a baked potato which was sub standard in size. STILLNOSALADS!!! This little board was delivered with some variety of nut bread and came with an, «I’m sorry, I forgot.» This little piece of gluey bread was on it with what must surely have been margerine. YUCK!!! I was feeling giddy at this point so I ordered a cheesecake; they call it Mountain Top Cheesecake, New York style with Strawberries and Whipped Cream. Sorry guys but it wasn’t New York style anything; it had a foul taste and was covered with a slimy strawberry syrup(sooooo sweet) and a teny, tiny scoop of imitation whipped cream which tasted as if the kitchen help had inhaled the gas and then let it set on the counter overnight. Man this is one phoney Texas style restaurant. Be sure to drive by, fast, before you smell what’s coming out of the kitchen vents. «Quoth the raven, nevermore.»

My friend and I were craving steak but didn’t want to spend too much. I looked on Unilocal for affordable steak houses in the are and it seemed this was the only one that would suite our taste buds. I try to stay away from chain restaurants as much as possible unless its the only option. That being said, we were on our way to long horn. We got there around 9pm and there was a 30 minute wait. I was tempted to leave but was urged to stay because my friend was looking forward to a steak all day long. We were seated as soon as the given time had passed. Once seated, there was a heavy smell of mildew. It smelled like an unclean wet mop but the floors were carpeted. Weird. Our server, Mariah M., promptly greeted us. She went over specials and gave her opinions on popular dishes and steered us clear of options we may not have liked. I love honesty in a server! She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu while she got our drinks and brought bread to the table. I ordered the prime rib with a baked sweet potato. My friend ordered the bone in rib eye(recommended over the boneless rib eye). My rib eye was cooked perfectly medium rare. It wasn’t too fatty. just the perfect amount as a treat to my taste buds. The sweet potato with cinnamon butter was delicious! My friends rib eye tasted a little too charred for my liking but he enjoyed it and devoured his entire meal within 10 min. He ordered steamed broccoli which we both agreed was dry and tasteless. I ended up dipping it in the remainder of the cinnamon butter. Our waitress was fantastic! She kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. She had a great attitude and was very friendly. It really made our experience that much nicer. We paid moderate prices but received 5 star service. Mariah was great!

You know what? I’m going to keep this review straight and simple. Everything they serve in this restaurant is on point. Food wise. My boss and I shared a porter house steak for two with 2 sides. Since we didn’t want any salad, we get to substitute it with two more sides. Nice! We got mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, green beans, and sweet potatoes with cinnamon. My God, the mashed potatoes had me nodding my head several times. It’s just the way it tasted and the consistency is just right. The steak was pretty good too. Better than ale house quality. However what sucks about our dining experience when we went was the lack of service we’ve been given. The young lady who served us was nice, has a really live personality about her, which is always good. We hit it off right. I was craving an angry orchard at the time which they do not have and I was bummed out. So then I switched to a new Castle but she forgot about my drink until the food got to the table. I had to remind her. And this whole time I believe the bottle was opened by the bartender and it was just sitting there. That brought down the mood a whole lot. When the food arrives we found ourselves puzzled because we had no silverwares. Another star killer. And just things like that can easily turn customers off who are just there to have a pleasant dining experience. What we don’t get was what she mentioned to us of how slow the night has been. We were thinking, that should be the more reason for servers to give top notch service. But at the end of the night we enjoyed the meal it was great. I’m not even mad at the service I just hope it could be improved and be more attentive. That’s all I have to say about long Horn. Will I come back? Maybe, but probably not. Reason for going in the first place was to try it out since I haven’t. Anyways, great steak!
