Modern Nails

This is my 3^rd coming and no complaints so far Henry does a real good job and takes his time. However I referred my friend to them and she had the worst experience ever! She had her 6 year old and her 3 month old bby. My friend had to breastfeed her bby but didn’t know where she can sit so one oh the guys told her go into the room by the bathroom so she did as soon as she sat down the old lady comes at my friend screaming at her telling her that you’re not suppose to sit there. The guy that told my friend she can sit there explained the issue to the old lady and she stood quiet. My friend had no complaints with the pedicure, but the gel manicure was worst nails tech kept switching up and they didn’t do the design that my friend wanted! As for me, I don’t know if I’m going to come back after the way they treated my friend!

This place is okay. My only issues with this place is that they talk very rudely. Not to me but it was towards my friend. I will not be coming here again.
But the guy that did my nails did a really good job. He took his time in doing them and making sure I liked them. His name was Henry.

I came in as a walk in. The young lady standing at the door didn’t greet me but she was starring at me so I begin to tell her what I came in for. I then choosed my color and sat in a chair where I got my nails nicely done. Another woman did my pedi which was awesome. I’ll be coming back.

Thus place was a disappointment. The technician doing my nails was sick & kept coughing without covering her mouth or turning her head. Why not wear a mask like she would if she were doing acrylics? The implements were not in a new package, as signs posted on the wall proclaim — she pulled them out of her drawer & squirted some alcohol on them (so I guess it’s a good thing that she didn’t clean under my toe or finger nails!). Then, although she told me she could do designs when I first picked out a color, it was obvious she couldn’t. One try, that was it, no second attempt, no apology, no nothing. I’m done!

I’ve been there four times and seen three different nail tech. All of them doing horrible jobs by leaving bubbles in nails, missing spots, way more. Also, they put the fake nail way on top of your real nail so that you’ll have to get another full set sooner instead of coming back for refills. I will never return. See pictures for proof.

My nails are obviously not the same shape/​size but when I asked him to fix them, he responded «only you and I know» furthermore, I was charged $ 25 when all I received was a fill in, priced at 13+ on their board. Don’t waste your money or time. The atmosphere was nice and set a high expectation for me in which I was disappointed, in the gallery my nails are the powder pink, poorly shaped and not as clean as I’d like.

I love this place. Everyone that works here is so nice and they all do a fantastic job. Sue Ann is the best I wouldn’t get my nails done anywhere else

I really like this place. The technicians are very good, attentive and I love how they do my naisl. I ask for natural and they deliver. The place is clean, spacious and you rarely have to wait to get a technician. If you do have to wait it’s a couple of minutes. Overall a great spot, the only reason I don’t give it five stars is because some people are rude and I think they should just be replaced since overall most of their staff is great.

Absolutely loved it. So many color selections. All the colors are properly displayed at the nail bar. Friendly, great prices and did a wonderful job on my nails and eyebrows. $ 20 full acrylic set and $ 7 eyebrow waxing.

Clean, sophisticated, perfect. I’m strictly loyal!!! And always come for my favorite best girlie Sue Ann!!! Beautiful great place! Xoxoxoxo

Been coming here for a few years now and they continue to make enhancements to the salon. Usually no wait.

Service is excellent, as soon as I walked in I was attended. I loved the variety of colors they have at their nail polish station. Inside it is beautiful and well decorated. The pedicure station is relaxing and very comfortable. I loved the great massage I received from the chair while having my pedicure done. I wish I remembered the woman’s name that did my pedicure but she did a wonderful job. Making this salon my permanent spot that I will go to.

I’m updating my review because I’ve gone back since but i went to Macy, referred to me by a co worker. I went back to my original style of short natural nails and my co workers looked fantastic so i decided to give it a shot. i kept the acrylic nail because my nails are prone to breakage and went with a gel color. i was very happy with the outcome. they are a tiny bit thicker than I would have liked but all in all, I was extremely happy to have functional nails for typing again. Oh, and Macy has great customer service, she treats your hands delicately & asks your opinion all along the way. i recommend her!

Totally recommend this place. I wish I remembered the guy’s name that did my nails to give him credit, unfortunately I don’t. A friend of mine took me here because I’m always complaining that my nails don’t even last a week. Not to mention If I do the gel layer. Every time had done it in other places it has not even last a full day. I’m in the health field and I’m constantly washing my hands. So my friend that’s also in the health field took me here. I was skeptical at first since it was so far from home. Well let me tell you it’s totally worth it. The guy did an amazing job I’ve been almost a week plus with them and they still look great.

I went in for a gel refill on my way home on December 24^th, around 1pm. No wait, I walked right in and was seated with a lovely nail tech named Hannah/​Heather (I feel like a jerk for not remembering!). She was very friendly and did a great job after I told her what I liked. I usually go for short, thin, natural looking gel nails, and she did just that. Better yet, it has been 2 weeks and they still look great! I will definitely return.

I was searching for a new nail salon because the one I was going to for years was starting to get on my nerves. I found this salon on Unilocal and decided to try it out based on the pictures that I saw on Unilocal.
I fell in love with their NUMEROUS color selections. The front desk receptionist was extremely friendly and she offered to help me choose my colors.
Judy, my nail tech understood how I wanted my nails done and how they were suppose to be shaped. She even did an excellent job on my eyebrows.
I didnt have any complaints at all and I will be returning!

So I decided to check out the reviews after entering the establishment, under the impression that I would receive less than quality service. Much to my surprise, I liked it!
I’ve lived in this area for about 10+ years and have been going to Elite Nails on university and johnson and figured it was time for a new salon, because elite nails always makes me wait, regardless if I have an appointment.
So I walked here on a Saturday afternoon, albeit the busiest days for nail salons, and figured that I would have to wait. Nope. I walked in and was immediately brought back for a pedicure. One thing I love about this place, the décor and the space! It’s so trendy and pedicure chairs are delightful.
The lady who did my toes wasn’t the friendliest, but she was quick and did a pretty good job. I’m not particularly looking to make friends with the technicians here, I’m looking for proficiency. And she was excellent.
I came back again for a french manicure gel, and again I was immediately brought back upon my walk-​in. Samurai did my nails and he did my nails exactly how I like them. Not cut too short, and the white tips just nice and thick. I would say that he is my new favorite technician.
So all in all, I love it here. The price is right, there’s always availability, and the technicians are pretty good. I’d say don’t let the below average plaza fool you into thinking that this salon isn’t good, because you’d be surprised.

Came in here to do my nails after school and they were completely empty. I was surprised but after siting down, a swarm of ladies flew in. It is a huge salon forsure but their set up is weird. This place isn’t my first option because I know my nails could of turned out better but I’m still content with them. I like their idea of having stand of the nail swatches because it shows how the color is going to come out but I wish I could see the bottle and the names of the polishes myself because sometimes the name of the nail polish helps me decide LOL

After my daughter and I had our feet pampered a few doors down we decided to come here. She needed a new full set and pedicure and I chose to get a pedicure as well because my polish was chipped,
Once inside the place is huge, and a nice simple décor. They sat us in the pedicure chairs and started working. Literally, they are so fast I think the entire pedicure lasted 20 minutes. Basic pedicure $ 20, mine was $ 25 because I got French.
A young lady did me and a guy did my daughter. My lady whips out a fricken sand blaster like my feet were crusty or something. Seeing how I get pedicures often and had a full pedicure one week prior trust me I had no dry calloused feet. My daughter thought it was hysterical took a picture and posted it on FB. She was not laughing hard when her guy did the same thing to her. Lol
Long story short, this place makes you feel like you stepped into a sweet shop. No quality work here. I was also concerned about the tools not being properly cleaned.
The guy only put one coat of polish on my daughters toes, so they looked terrible.
Her full set were uneven, not properly shaped and terrible polish job. I had originally asked about pricing on pink and white, thankfully I did not need a fill. The guy tells me pink fill $ 18, wow I’m thinking great price then I ask what about pink and white fill? Oh $ 40, say what ok so in other words just get a new full set every time you walk in the door.
Not much personality from the staff, you sit, hurry let’s file do a crappy job polishing and get you out of here.
Skip this place!

Terrible service… Went in for manicure after having the acrylics nails came off. Girl who did my manicure didn’t talk to me the whole time which was less than 15 minutes, she did a very poor job even skipping step in manicure didn’t buff out bumps an ruffness in my nails will post a picture as we’ll. Will not go back to this place…
