Moonlite Diner

This was awful. I’m not sure what to start with.

Food Ordered:
Reuben on white with disco fries. Gravy was yuck. Fries so soggy and undercooked. Cheese was still in a square and just laid on top.
Broccoli Cheese Soup was like Campbell’s Can soup.
Yuck
Reuben was so chewy. Tea was $ 2.50? Fake honey Ewww
Daughter ordered the 2−2−2−2
She got dippy eggs. They weren’t cooked right. Had that «slime» around the yolk still. Bacon. Sausage. Pancakes. For $ 8.49 Why not include toast? My daughter got her dippy eggs and was like ummm what will I dip in?
6 year old son got kids FrenchToast.
Which was just that. For $ 4.50 for two pieces of toast why not include a piece of sausage or bacon?
Honestly Denny’s is much better and much cheaper! Diner is supposed to be cheap!!!
$ 40 after tip for me and two kids to eat only to be hungry a few hours later. No.
Never again. Everything is frozen. Oh and the food was freezing cold.
Would do 1 star but my waitress was very nice.

Super cute old fashioned diner, average service, good food. One of our orders was messed up kinda bad (chicken wrap with no lettuce, just a bunch of tomatoes and onions and a little chicken) Yummy old fashioned shakes. I got an iced caramel mocha and i wouldn’t recommend it it tasted really watered down. Will go back though we liked the vibe.

I was at Moonlite Diner last year and was really happy with the restaurant. The food was yummy and the prices were very good. I ordered the fish and chips and really enjoyed them. My brothers ordered the burgers, which were really big, and they seemed to enjoy them too.
I came back last week with my family and friends and was extremely dissatisfied with both the service and food. I ordered the greek chicken salad, but when the food arrived I noticed that there was no feta in the salad. I waited 5 – 10 mins for the waitress to return so that I could let her know. When I told her that I had no feta in my salad, she informed me that they were out of feta cheese! She offered to switch my meal, but at that point everyone else was already eating and I didn’t want to wait for new food. I was extremely upset because the waitress should have let me know when I ordered that they were out, instead of waiting for me to have ask her. Aside from that the salad still was nothing great. It was just a boring salad with a few pieces of gross, rubbery, overcooked chicken. At the end of the meal my dad informed the waitress that I was very displeased with my meal and she offered to take $ 2 off, but still inexcusable service.

Awesome diner experience. I usually base my diners on the basics. Got the staple appetizer southwest homemade chips super good. Then a gyro platter which was good. Then to top it off a milkshake hand made by our awesome server Tammy. Also got a cool Christmas light necklace from Theresa.

We just had a great breakfast, excellent coffee and awesome service. This place is clean and run extremely well. The GM, Matt, was all over this place with a great smile and positive attitude. We’ll be back!

Diner near Hollywood, omelet was. decent, nothing out of this world, but works for a quick breakfast.

Had a slight smell of b.o. Throughout the restaurant.
Service was good food was lackluster at best.

Shakes and burgers! Patty melt was delicious! Super good onion rings! Kendall Burger was good too, skimpy on the sweet potato fries though. Strawberry shake in an old fashioned shake glass! Yum! We will be back!

Stopped by for lunch. The atmosphere of the place is good. Inside looks like a real American diner, I like the design of it. We sat outside «Patio» with Baia view, where it was nice and you can smoke if you are a smoker and it is pretty quite and relaxing .! It wasn’t that much clean outside but it s understandable. The service is good and fast, our waitress «Sofia» was nice and polite and sweet and did her work great. we waited a bit longer than I expected but I think that’s because it was busy.
I ordered a plain cheeseburger with mozzarella cheese, medium cooked, salads and French fries on the side and it was excellent. My friends were happy with what they ordered (I don’t remember) and they are agree with me about this place. The price is great, it’s not expensive at all. I ll be back, thank you.

Always a great place for breakfast I’m sure they have a good lunch or dinner but you cannot go wrong with their breakfast one of the few places in South Florida that actually serves a real hashbrowns also real sausage links of those crappy frozen ones you always see in the grocery stores and other chain restaurants like IHOP and Denny’s

Went on a Sunday for breakfast and was promptly seated outside on the lake. Inside offers booths, tables, and counter seating.
Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. We ordered an omelet for $ 9.99 and you choose four fillings. We had a coupon through the VIP email program for free pancakes ($ 5 value).
The omelet came with a biscuit, fried shredded potatoes, blueberries and a few strawberries.
Overall, food was great and the service. There is parking in the attached lot or you can park in the plaza’s lot across the street.

Good place to go if you are shopping on Oakwood Plaza.
It looks like an original american dinner from 50^th, both inside an outside. A lot of nice old style posters on the walls.
Can not tell anything special about the food, regular diner’s menu. Last time I ordered steak with eggs and pancakes, as you can see on picture.
Service is very polite, just the waiter last time disappeared for apx 20 min without taking an order.

Over prices. Grilled cheese was good and so was the veggie burger. The milkshakes are pretty good too. Only downside if the extremely high priced diner food.

The funny thing is, we live so close by this place, and talked about coming in here for years, but never did. So, it seems like the time is now.
We walked in and felt like we just went through the time machine. The place is decorated like the dinner in the 50’s, which I enjoyed a lot. The menu is nothing special, but the food tasted delicious. In this visit I ordered the grilled pork chop. The meat was very juicy and I love the steam vegetables served on the side. My wife ordered the omelet and she loved it too. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and took really good care of us. In the end, the bill was like gong to Denny’s, but the food and service was 10 times better.
The only thing I felt kind of uncomfortable was their managers. They were very vocal when giving orders (and criticisms) to their staff. Maybe its me, but I’d not want to embarrass my staff in front of the customers.

Good Old American Diner
Right off I-​95 and Stirling are you find this little trailer like diner glowing at night. You’ll see it on the expressway but getting there is a little tricky since its in a plaza. Parking is conveniently located at the entrance.
When you walk in a waitress greets you and brings you to your table almost immediately. They have everything you would expect to find at a diner and that’s just perfect if you’re in the mood for a quick snack or meal.
Prices are great too! Almost everything on the menu is under $ 10 and the food comes out fairly quick. Desserts are DELICIOUS and usually exceptionally large which is always a win win in my book.
I highly recommend getting the The Club sandwich with fries to me it taste like perfection! Also the cookie dough and brownie sundae is definitely something you wanna experience in this life time.

Nice open patio, extensive menu, breakfast all the time. They have a big
Patio for puppies, and have beer and wine.

Great diner, good greasy food, as far as diners go this is a great place. The shakes are excellent
Large selection of favorites hamburgers, grilled cheese sandwich, everything you would expect to see in a diner. You won’t be disappointed ohhh. And great service.

I don’t think I have ever had diner food that I was like WOWEEE this is AMAZING! It always happens when I just have a craving for diner food and I can pretty much counft on what I am going to get.
I had fish tacos — which were ok but a little soggy. It was kind of an impulse order — probably not the best thing to order. I also had French Onion soup, a diner staple, which also had that ol’ comfortable diner taste. It’s not anything special, but the service was pretty friendly, the waitresses seemed to get along nicely with each other which created a nice vibe and the food satisfied that diner craving.
It is what it is, and accomplishes what it sets out to do.

While vacationing in Florida, my husband and I came across the Moonlite Diner. This is a really neat, old fashioned style diner located in Hollywood, near Fort Lauderdale. The food is standard diner fare, but it is tasty. I had the 2222 Meal, which consists of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 sausages. It was very good. My husband had their club sandwich and said it was also very good.
The service is quick and the servers are friendly. The next time we are back in the area, we will make sure to stop back in here.

After catching a movie, we wanted to find something to eat and came across the Moonlite Diner. Beautiful diner, the old style art deco kind.
First of all, they had about a half dozen beers on tap. That’s always a good thing! I had a traditional holiday dinner — turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and such. Really, really good.
The food and décor were fine but the a/​c was a bit too high and just too cold.
