I have been here a few times and music it’s great. However this last visit the drinks were not the best.

The door man at this establishment is horrible at customer service. He must have Napoleon complex. Kinda reminds me a Ricky Martin. It’s sad be be cause my girlfriend likes this place.
If management is reading this review, Your door man needs a training course in customer service.
I don’t think he likes black men or people. Especially when they don’t fit the stereotype.
Sad.

Had an awesome time tonight! I was looking for some Latin flavor minus the spring break crowd. Found it! Awesome live band Kaliente. The super fine guys also performed on the bar! Eye candy.yummmm. My husband didn’t mind my admiring the tasty sites. The music was great. Salsa, bachata, reggeaton live and then DJ. Mature crowd, good drinks, and I danced my tush off. I will definitely return!
Cover charge on Sunday was only $ 5 and drinks were reasonably priced!

The best happy hour in town!!! 3.50 for martinis, mojitos etc… Half off food as well during happy hour.

Loved this place is a lot of fun the hot professional dancers men and women (finally some eye candy for us girls), live music, dj, appetizers, and drinks the only complaint is they have a cover charge of 15 dollars per person which should be taken off the final bill if you pay for a meal and drinks it advertises as a restaurant not a club after all. Besides the cover charge I really had a good time and would go again.

Was looking for a place for me and my friends to have some drinks and dance after eating on a Thursday. Heard this place was good. The music was on point, mostly latin, bartenders were friendly and attentive. The only thing i would complain about is the loudness. The acoustics are really off balance and my ears are still ringing 4 days later. I feel bad for the people working there, they undoubtably have permanent damage to their hearing. i have never experienced such loudness in any club/​bar. Other than that it was a fun environment.

2 weeks later and i find out i have bad case of Tinnitus, the constant ringing noise due to hearing damage. Beware of this place. i am an audio engineer so this is devastating for me! this club easily has their volume levels over 100db!

I arrived at this establishment at 2:45am on a late Monday night on 11/​24/​2015. I walked in very casually and was greeted by an extremely rude doorman/​bouncer. I had never been there before and wanted to check it out as I liked the music. The doorman told me that I could NOT come in and told me to leave immediately. I was shocked. I asked why. My clothes? my shoes? He stated «everything and because I say so.» He escorted me to the door with a threatening look.
Now, I am not Latin, but I am Italian with dark skin. He didn’t know that, of course. I am young and single, so why? Please reply to this post if you have any ideas. First time this ever happened to me. They lost a potential good customer for life.

Place it self is nice but guys think they own this place and they forget the most important thing. They work to entertain and the tips. Rude staff (male) dude relax people come to have a good time not to take your place whatever it is ! I used to work in places like this one and guest come first cuz they are the one leaving their money here. This people needs to understand that. Place is nice to hang out but once it comes to the guys who work here are rude as hell. Working for $ 8−10hr relax or go somewhere else to try to make a living dude, we know the gym is cheap but are the guys leaving the tips for the waitress who may tip you. I feel sorry for the girls but I think they are also used to this. Not coming back that’s for sure my money can be spent somewhere else where I don’t have to deal with this drama from low pay dudes. This place is THE BOMB!!! Always great food, super generous drinks, excellent service and the best dancing atmosphere in South Florida!!!

Old people. They should let younger people in free and girls in free and they should charge people over 40 $ 1 for every year old they are. Those 60 year old ladies will have to ask their husbands for money so they can go in. Go play with your grandkids. Wtf are you doing in a club? Then the creeps that bother the girls should get thrown out. That should leave about 5 people in there. And they smoke in there too.

They attempt to usurp free parking spaces by using objects (barstools) to «save» them. Police have told them that this is not ok. So tonight they had a thug confront a 50 year old woman who dared move the damned stool and use a space she was entitled to.
The doorman ended up shouting profanity down the street. So disrespectful.

Well to give credit where credit is due if you want an atmosphere similar to the famous MANGOS on ocean drive in miami beach this place can actually get to that potential on certain nights. The night you should go there is on Sunday nights they are playing music, staff is dancing and singing on stage and lastly drinks are buy one get one free house brand but they are good no nasty hangovers next day…

So fun! Myself and four girls were in Hollywood on a girls trip. This was my first time to the town. We got to Spice nice and early (grandma style, lol), which I think was perfect. When you get there at 8 or 9pm you have your choice of tables in this spot that fills up quickly after 10pm. We enjoyed a great DJ, a live Spanish music band, and Magic Mike style bar dancing. Yes, muscle men and hot women dancing choreographed dances on the bar. All the bartenders and waiters are the dancers. The drinks were nice and strong and the bathroom was clean. I can’t wait to go back!

What is it with South Florida??? Awesome clubs with plenty of room to dance, great Live bands, Beautiful women and Bartenders that will do anything to please a customer!!! But… Sad Dj!!! Last night every one was dancing to great Salsa, Merengue and Bachata to the beat of the Live group, then the Dj started with techno and just killed the dance floor!!! It’s ok we are all human! The problem is that he did it three times!!!
Small tip, train your Dj! If the dance floor is full, keep feeding the crowd what they want. We pay to have a great time dancing not to watch the Dj enjoy what he is playing by himself! The more we dance, the more we consume and that should be the goal of the club!

From the minute we entered we were greeted with a smile. The staff here is very friendly and courteous. Our drinks just kept flowing, maybe because we sat at the bar in front of the register, lol. Live band was a nice addition, the guy playing the congas had a beautiful voice. When the band stopped, the party kept going with the DJ. I don’t think this is the house DJ cause the transition from music to music was awful. The choice of music was good, Brazilian samba, bachata, reggaeton. We ordered the Mariquitas with Mojo. The Mariquitas were all stuck together, the mojo was garlicky and very yummy. I don’t think it was worth $ 8 though. Don’t know if I would go back.

The only reason I’m giving them one star is because the bar tender was a wonderful girl who made a great margarita. We were having a great time my friend and I sitting at a table near the stage (we got there at 9:30pm, which is fairly early)
In the midst of my friend and I having a conversion while enjoying our margarita one of the waiters who is short, dark tan skin, curly hair with extremely tight pants and tight shirt and vest, comes to my girlfriend and basically yanks the chair from right below her and says «oh, sorry» apparently, he was
Sitting down the table directly behind us. He leaves my friend standing there confused and offended, naturally we decided to leave after that act of sheer politeness.
My friend goes to the bar to close her tab and I decided to address manager about our recent ordeal. Well, that was a giant disaster.
The manager is a tall, tan skin, muscular and bald guy with giant loop earrings on both sides and very, very tight clothes (probably part of the uniform)
I tell him exactly what happened and when we point out the guy, they hugged each other and whispered something to each other and afterward they
BOTH aggressively approach my girlfriend who is in the process of paying at the tab at the bar and tell her «Ay mami, Pero yo te dije.» Both men were aggressively flaring their arms up and down and side to side very close to my friends personal space so, I decided to intervened and asked them to both please relax (as I seen my friend was getting overwhelmed) so this is when things took a terrible turn for the worst.
As i intervened, the manager interrupts me as I am telling him that «I’m only telling you what I saw him do…» And he tells me that the waiter is the most polite waiter they have and that I must be mistaken.“
Meanwhile flaring his arms at me very close to my face.
At this point all I could find the words to say was, «you know, just don’t worry about it… it’s fine» he tells me as swings around and gives me his back throwing his hands in the air «oh, don’t worry I’m not worried about it mamita» after which, we got our car from valet and left. And well, that was the end of our wonderful experience at spice
Up until this moment, I LOVED this place. But I won’t support a place that blatantly disrespects women with intimidation. Don’t waste your money or your time by going here.

I was excited to finally check this place out last Friday Nite. I had heard this was a unique place, and basically Latin everything with a vivacious party scene. But not knowing about tables and reservations (next time Unilocal me!), I set up table reservations for 8 for around 9pm. At 5pm the day of I got a call confirming my reservation. I also gathered some info about cover charges. I was told $ 10 -$ 15 according to «how busy we are». Sounded a tad shady but it quickly slipped my mind.
So I arrive at 845pm with a friend of mind. The place literally had about 12 people in it but understandable I suppose for an early Friday Nite. My friend and I paid the $ 10 cover each and attempted to go to our table. Then a manager (hard to tell because they all wear colorful dance costumes) asked me if I wanted bottle service for $ 200 at a table right in front of the band. I declined. He took us to our table which was right near the entrance and the equivalent of nose bleed seats in a stadium. Before I could lift a menu, he asks me if my party is going to spend $ 140. If so, he could move us to a closer table by the dance floor. Not knowing how many of my group would show, I again declined.
So an hour passes and I’m settled in at our nose bleed table. I’m a believer that the company makes the night a good time, not the table (I hoped!). Then, suddenly, I get a call from a number I don’t know. Because of the noise, I run outside to answer it and say «hello hello». Believe it or not, there is a sharp dressed man standing beside me who is the one calling me! He is another manager wanting to know if I want to move to a different table. Some descriptive words then slapped me across the face. Words like tourist trap, scam artists, and let’s ripoff El Gringo!
I can’t say too much about the inside of the place or the band or the drink prices or the food or much of anything. Because I was blinded by the ominous yucky feeling they were trying to SCAM me big time. Ruined my night. I’ll never be back.

One of the best spots in Hollywood! This place is so special to me… It’s where I met my husband. Awww! But back to my review…
I’ve been coming here since 2011 and it’s an awesome salsa hangout. How many places have you been to that has a live salsa band? And if that’s not enough, sexy guys and girls dancing on the bar while you just sit back and have a drink or two. OR if you’re like me, you’re just there trying to follow their choreography by the dance floor. Ha! In between the band’s break there’s a DJ playing a mix of English and reggaeton music. It’s not the best mixing but I just try to give my piggies a break until it’s time for the band to come out again.
I go to this place on Thursday nights because Saturdays can get cray cray. If you do go on a Saturday you can catch the Samba dancers doing their amazing footwork and fire dance. It’s certainly a fun place to go if you want to do your bachelorette’s too — you can get a lap dance on the bar.
If you’re hungry and you must absolutely eat there, than by all means do but don’t expect anything that will strike your palate — food is bland. The music and the dancers will be the only thing that will be spicing up your night!
