Cozy little place with a small menu that has a little of everything, but not overwhelming. Real good wine menu, again not large but very good choices. Small liquor selection and all the usual beers. Fantastic food, the grilled salmon and sautéed shrimp are incredible. makes me wish i was several hundred pounds just so I could order more! A must eat

My husband and I went for lunch and it’s the cutest little restaurant and the owners are just the nicest people. The crab dip was fantastic, all of our lunch was great! Can’t wait to go back!

Terrible! The waitress never went over specials we had to go looking for them on the wall. The special cocktail of the day was sangria. We order it and they tell us the person that knows how to make it isn’t there. They end up finding out how to make it and it was a glass with two sips and ice. We ordered the crab cake with shrimp. The crab cake was cold and not tasty. The shrimp were very very small. The only thing that was remotely good was the broccoli. Never again!

Tonight was my first visit to the cow and fish. I will definitely be a frequent visitor. I ordered the fried oyster appetizer to start. At $ 18.99 it seemed a little bit pricey but it was worth every cent. The oysters were lightly breaded and perfectly fried, very tender and very juicy. My main course was the special of the night, the ribeye was hands-down one of the best steaks I have ever had. I have been to some of the finest steak restaurants in the world and this is definitely in the top 10, possibly the top 5. As good as the steak was I would have gladly paid double. It was definitely worth the $ 25.99. I saw them bring out a piece of peanut butter pie which looked absolutely delicious. I was very full after my meal so that will have to wait for breakfast. If it’s as good as everything I’ve tried so far I probably should’ve ordered two.

We went here on a weeknight, so it was fairly quiet and there wasn’t a wait for a table. From a quick scan of the place, it looked like they only had about 8 tables so it was super cozy. We loved the décor of it, which felt like a small local place owned by people we could be friends with. The menu is pretty small, too, but it was still hard to choose what to order because everything looked delicious. We settled on the shrimp basket as an appetizer and I don’t know how they made the batter taste like the shrimp was melting in our mouths! Seriously, anything fried from them was crispy and not at all greasy. My friend had the New York strip with fried oysters and spinach and green beans and she loved it. I had the Cow and the Fish special(a steak with a skewer of shrimp and scallops) with a loaded baked potato. It was good, although my steak was a little underdone. Our server was incredibly friendly, but was a little forgetful — I had to flag her down a few times to keep our drinks filled. Overall, it was a good meal and tasted like something one of your talented friends might make for a Friendsgiving meal or something. The décor was nice and homey, and while the prices were a little higher than I would pay normally for an equivalent meal at a chain restaurant and the service was slow at times, it wasn’t exorbitant pricing and our server was friendly. I left full and happy. I’d probably go back, especially since we didn’t have room for dessert this time and they looked good!

The service was excellent. There was music playing it was a quiet atmosphere. It wasn’t busy so we were seated right away. The food was great. Both entrees we order, ribeye steak and rock fish. I didn’t care for the cream of Crab. The base isn’t what I’m used to being from Southern Maryland. It was sort of thickened like gravy. I would recommend the restaurant and we will go back.

Came for lunch and it was great. Had Phillie cheese steak and husband had rockfish sandwich, both very good… although husband would have prefered fried rockfish instead of broiled. Service was propmt and server very courteous. Would definetly come again.
