The Feast

Had the cajon Mahi Mahi with purple potatoes and snows peas. The fish was tender but I thought the seasoning was a little too heavy. Potatoes & peas were excellent. Server was attentive.

We tried this place twice while visiting AMI. The best item we had from the menu was the Grouper nuggets, but I can’t really speak too highly of the other items we tried.
I tried the jerk chicken sandwich one day and there wan’t really anything jerk about it other then a chicken breast coated heavily in seasoning. The carbonara was okay but not great, very bland which is a hard thing to accomplish with that entrée.
Probably the most disappointing thing was the experience we had when we dined in the restaurant. Everyone was friendly until we questioned the burger that came out well done when we asked for it to be medium. At that point the waitress became very rude and short in her interactions with us at the table. I’m not sure if that was us having to get one of the head guys to go get her or what, but I thought the attitude we received was totally unacceptable and unwarranted.
On top of that, I found out when I got the bill that they automatically added the 18% gratuity on my bill. I usually tip 20% normally, but the fact they went ahead and added it without telling me just bothers me. When I asked about it, I was told very tersely that it is «printed on the menu» and parties of 5 or more get it added. It was my wife and 3 kids so it was not like we were some huge, complicated table to wait. I don’t like when someone else makes my decision for me with regards to tipping, and it was very sneaky to add that to a bill without letting us know first.
They only get an extra star from me for the Grouper nuggets, other than that, I would not recommend The Feast.

Visited this restaurant twice while in Anna Maria, the food is amazing. However, the wait staff could use a refresher on customer service. I would recommend the grouper cheeks! they were amazing

the place is nice. it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. don’t order the fish grilled — it’s pretty bland, no seasoning or even salt/​pepper. the firecracker shrimp appetizer is pretty good with a hint of spice at the end. the lobster bisque sauce was really tasty but definitely can find better tasting fish around the island.

Excellent service and decent food. Good prices for what you get. Good steak, shrimp, and everything in between. It was a small, relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to go with family. Lots of wine and craft beer options!

We went to dinner here last night, everything was fantastic! The stuffed shrimp and lobster bisque were AMAZING! Our waiter was great! We went to Blue Marlin during our stay in Anna Maria, in my opinion the food is much better at The Feast.

We picked up a couple of pizzas to avoid any crowds on mother’s day. I got a regular cheese pizza with a few toppings and it was delious! My Mom is gluten free and she got their GF and she said it was the best GF pizza she has ever had!

I don’t get these 4-​star reviews. This is one The Best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. The chef deserves a Michelin star.
If you haven’t been here or passed it up simply because it’s in a strip mall — you don’t know what you’re missing.

My wife said her crab stuffed shrimp was best meal she has ever had. I had the red snapper grilled per waiter recommendation. It was dry. Rice and potato sides were not that good either. Key lime coconut cake was good.

We went for lunch on the recommendation of another guest staying in our hotel. Our waitress, Christine, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu — as was every waiter/​waitress we dealt with after that first visit.
Grouper cheeks were excellent. Salads — I tried the Vermont, my wife the Tropicale — were fresh and also excellent. She doesn’t like sun dried tomatoes, but before she knew her dressing was made with them, she’d already asked for a to-​go order of it. Lobster bisque as good as promised. Fresh pompano was indeed fresh, and the «remoulade» (more like a slightly spicy Cajun tartar sauce) fabulous.
In fact, lunch was so good that we went back for dinner. Grouper fingers were very good (though our waiter was correct, not quite as good as the grouper cheeks.) Shrimp and lobster with pasta ditto very good, though I would have liked a slightly spicier, less rich sauce. Anna Maria and House Salads both wonderful. Even the side of baked beans was unusually good.
We’ve been three times and will go again. Also, if you have a dog with you, there is outdoor seating — and they will even bring a bowl of water or a glass of ice water you can pour into a bowl yourself!

Great local fish, homemade dressings made great salads, good service! Loved everything!

The service was awesome, and the food is great. I recommend getting appetizers and salads! The sides with the entrees were too seasoned for me, but the appetizers were great. Pizza to go is an excellent bet as well if you can’t get in to dine.

Great food! Loved that they had local fish on their menu! Our server Kristy was very knowledgeable about wine and spot on with service! I will say, the one negative was waiting for the host or anyone to acknowledge us when we walked in. The host was on the phone taking a reservation and the server that came up to close his check just ignored us and basically acted like he was bothered when we spoke to him. Even then he just passed us on to the host who was clearly still busy on the phone. Thankfully, he was not our server. We waited almost 10 mins just to be spoken to at the hostess stand. Most people would have walked out. The only reason they are not getting five stars. Otherwise, I loved the new décor and atmosphere! Loved the server we had!

Nice setting once inside. Keith the server was ‘on top of it all’. Food was outstanding, large house salad with superb dressing, scallops in both entrees large and tasty. Definitely a place to savor. Prices for quality very reasonable.

We had a really nice snapper filet that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. (blackened) Also, the coconut shrimp was nice with a sweet sauce.
Motorworks Brewery on tap, had an excellent porter and a nice glass of wine. Lot of selections.
The server was very attentive and friendly. I could not have asked for better. The entire staff was friendly and greeted us and seemed happy for us to visit.
As for the décor, I was looking for the terrible décor that was complained about in another review but, found that the it was professionally decorated and was very well done.
We will be back to try more!

2^nd time here this week. Everything is awesome. Order the Vermont Salad with your meal!

we have visited the feast restaurant for years now, for both lunch and dinner. Used it for carry out too, they even deliver to the bar next door. fabulous food, great sevice and reasonable prices. yay feast

Came here for some appetizers with my mom and aunt on a movable feast. It is located in a strip mall and from the outside, it didn’t look like a place you’d pick to eat unless you knew about it. When we arrived, it was around 3 and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were greeted and able to choose our own seat. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and answered all of our questions. We ordered the grouper cheeks (I was not a fan), coconut shrimp (pretty good), and the lobster bisque (AMAZING). The bisque is buttery and smooth, and if you go, it is a must order!

Good food, reasonable prices, good service.
Before the entrees I had Lobster Bisque and my wife had Clam Chowder, I got the better end of that deal I promise. The bisque is some of the best I have had.
I had the pasta carbonara with chicken it had very good flavor. The temperature was so hot I had to wait a while before I could eat it. If I order it again, I think it would be better with grilled shrimp. My wife had the fried seafood trio. She said it was really good.
We went there the next day for lunch. I had the fried Grouper Cheeks and oh my gosh… So good. The remoulade could have come from a jar. Merely adequate. With such a special item such as perfect grouper cheeks, well, fix the dipping sauce with something special and made in the kitchen…
I will go back.

We ordered pizza here for a large group and were very happy with the results. Each pizza was very custom and tasted fresh.
They don’t deliver, but they were ready for pickup at the time requested.
We’ve not eaten in the location, but the pizza pickup was definitely worth a try.
