Looking at the review from 2008, it looks like they are offering the same free samples of Baja Chicken Quesadillas. As I walked around the food court, I was offered samples from many of the ethnic foods restaurants. I felt like Mexican today, but I won’t eat«Mexican Junkfood» like Taco Bell. I would have decided to eat here even if they weren’t offering free samples. I ordered a burrito with shaved steak and guacamole. It wasn’t half bad, but the chips did not taste authentic. The staff were very friendly and took my order, prepared it, and gave it to me in a very professional manner. If I went back to this mall, I would probably eat here again, however I have been to some more local Mexican places with more authentic food which is what I’m guessing many of the other reviewers have also been to.

Very disappointing. I ordered the Queso Enchilladas and they honestly tasted like something you would get from Cumberland Farms or 7Eleven. The cheese was clearly from a jar and was gross, the portion wasn’t very big and it was just generally pretty terrible. The buffalo chicken dippers were decent, and if I were forced to eat here again, I would probably order these. There are lots of other options in and around Ingleside — you can do better.

Pretty bland. Got the full moon burrito. All I could taste was refried beans. The tortilla was toasted, making it a little irritating to eat. Kinda felt like a cardboard tube around a glob of beans. Lunch for two ran about 15 bucks, for 2 burritos, a bottle of water and a soda. There was a sample of the quesadilla at the counter, which was pretty tasty. Maybe that would have been the better choice. Both burritos came with chips, probably just chips from the Target upstairs.

Got the adobe burrito, a soda, and a sample of each salsa. The food was bland and only one of the salsa’s had any flavor. The mild salsa tastes more like tomato sauce than salsa as it lacks any common mild flavor seasonings(cilantro, lime, etc.) The burrito was generally carried by the guac as a the other ingredients were very under spiced. Disappointed, will not return.

Their food is edible but way too salty. It was better when Taco Bell was in the mall, to be honest.

A Mexican establishment in the Heart of the Holyoke Mall food court, Desert Moon Café sated my hunger for some good Mexican food. They were giving out free samples of Baja Chicken Quesadillas, and I was hungry. I thought I wanted Pizzaria Regina, but once I heard«Free Sample of Baja Chicken Quesadilla!» My ears perked up and my tummy growled! I took one bite and walked to the line at Desert Moon. My mom and I split their quesadilla and I got a diet coke and mom got a water. Free chips and salsa(their hot salsa is the only way to go on this, believe me). I was a happy camper! Next time, I’ll be back with my sombrero!
