Golden Scissors

My family has been going to Golden Scissors for the better part of 4 – 5 years now and everyone leaves very happy. My mother and I specifically don’t see eye to eye when getting haircuts, but Sonia always manages to please the both of us. It is incredible and she really knows her stuff. Blending, layers, and she always adapts to whatever new cut we’re looking for. She’s been nothing short of a miracle worker, and we’d all like to extend our thanks and highest regards. Definitely a must try!

I just moved to the suburbs from the city and was reluctant to stop going to my hair dresser in the city who I had been loyal to for many years. But I’m so glad I found this place! They had an appointment open right away. And they were so friendly, kind, and reasonably-​priced. I’m a stay-​at-​home mom of a young toddler, and I don’t «treat» myself a lot, but they made me feel so taken care of and my hair feels so much healthier! They also offered advice on easy, quick ways I could do my hair, and advice on how to get it healthier. Thanks, ladies! I will definitely be back!

The women who run this salon are amazing! They are passionate about hair and do a fantastic job! My husband rarely even notices my hair cut, but said it looked great today. Mad thumbs up to Michelle.

Sonya has been cutting my hair for ~ 7 years. She always does a fantastic job, and I drive from Chicago to get my haircut at Golden Scissors. Now my whole family uses Sonya and her wonderful daughter Michelle for haircuts, as well as eye brow waxing/​coloring. My 10 year daughter and i have been coming here since the beginning of summer. I tried it on the word of a dear friend and boy was she right!!! Sophi and her daughter, Michelle, are 2 professionals that will stand the test of time!!! I am an extremely picky person about my haircuts and i have not had 1 bad cut!!! My daughter is picky just like me and she loves these ladies!!! She usually fights me about getting her hair cut but when we started coming here she no longer does. These women take the time to understand what u want from your cut and deliver!!! The prices r very reasonable and they are warm and friendly to all who walk in the door!!! I have been to the really high priced salons and the 7.99 places. I have been experimenting with my hair for the past 26 years and these women have made me feel welcome and at home!!! Cant say that about to many places!!! I will follow these women if they ever change location!!!
