Based on my brief experience with the owner, I’ll give this place 5 stars. I visited the nursery because I had read that they are one of the top places to purchase cattleyas. What I found was a massive facility. Unfortunately not many cattleyas were in bloom but the owner walked around with me as I asked questions. Eventually we walked up to a dendrobium and after I told him a story about my neighbor, he gave one of its keikis for free. The next time I’m in town, I look forward to stopping by to see what’s in bloom.

Guess I was very mistaken about my previous post: called Amazonia this morning to inquire about re-potting the 2 Cattleyas I had purchased there previously and was told that due to «economics» they would not provide that service. I was told I would be shown how to do it but that if I wanted re-potting the fee(I offered to pay) would be $ 20 per pot! I had explained to the owner I would have brought in my own pots therefore I find the $ 20 fee per plant quite pricey considering he had initially offered to do it for free when we bought the 2 orchids from him. I guess this is an example of «promises, promises»… I was not happy with the outcome and don’t plan on returning to Amazonia orchids in the future.
