Rock & Sod Connection

Warning Stay away from this outfit.
I ordered palmetto Sod (a variety of Saint Augustine Grass) and a top soil sand mix to be delivered. At the last minute when placing the order they raised the price. The Sod appeared to have dry spots and looks sub standard. I have no idea if It is reall Palmetto Variety or a cheaper variety. The topsoil sand mix looks sick and unhealthy and I will have to discard it for my safety and peace of mind because there is no way of telling if it contains contaminants. I would call the heatlh department but I question if they would care, and it is probably legal to sell most anything as topsoil.
The invoice which was presented after the material was unloaded, was
quite unusual. This was an order for several hundred dollars. THe invoice was not typed and did not have the name of the Vendor on it. IT was more like a piece of scratch paper altho it was small invoice form not properly made out. The driver asked if I was paying by cash,
I said I was paying by check. The driver took back the invoice and wrote another figure equal to 7 percent more for the sales tax. In my mind this is an outfit it would be best to stay far away from.
Learn from my mistake. Even for Miami, this is bad.
