Great place. Great variety. I came here with my family looking for authentic spices and seasonings. We wanted authentic Asian snacks. My son is 8 and very interested in different foods. He wanted to come here, and He loved it. We will be back.

The variety here is amazing, I buy oyster sauce and fish sauce here, and once or twice I have bought some really cute little trinkets for a friend that loves Asian stuff. We are lucky to have this store in homestead.

When I passed by it looked shut down. VERY unfortunate to not be able to experience this place. I originally thought it was shut down but I was very wrong. Next time I hope to make it before it closes at 7pm. An FYI for all you non-Florida people out there. The stores close around 5 to 7 in the south Florida and Keys area.

This is my favorite Grocery Store. They have the widest variety of Asian food in south dade. I love that they use local produce! You see produce here that you don’t see in the regular stores. Talk with the people who work there and they are a wealth if knowledge and recipes. Tim’s also serves a fresh take out lunch for cheap. In the evening there is a per pound chinese cooked food take out!

Southernmost asian grocery store. From ingredients, china, rice, limited vegetables, lots of bottled stuff. Unique fruit like Calamondin, I have not seen this fruit here in Miami. Prices are more expensive than a regular asian store. Huge variety of ingredients, chinese, asian, korean, etc. they even sell Basmati rice.

Really cool place with a large selection of food as well as tea and plates/silverware/figurines/cooking supplies. They also have a hot bar of food around lunch time(which I can never seem to get to in time to try it!). Friendly people work there too! Only thing I dislike is the very strong smell inside. I cannot put my finger on it. I don’t think it’s food. It’s like a mixture of moth balls and… something else. It’s very strong and hits you as soon as you walk in. Makes me not want to linger in there long. Also sometimes they have expired food on the shelves so be sure to check the dates!

This place has a prolific number of products. As a former retail-jockey, I shudder to think of how many SKUs is up in here. Their are probably more than twenty shelves with(DEFINITELY) more than 50 products per shelf. Plus refrigerators. Plus produce. Plus… When you enter(and park in the back, btw, otherwise you’ll have to wade through hobos, since this apparently where they congregate)(I’ll see you in h***) directly to your right is a closet with a… kitchen in it? Yep. It’s a kitchen. There’s a dry erase board right above it’s door and a tiny cook will come up to you and ask you which lunch you want, if you want white rice, flied lice, or noodles or an eggroll(only $ 1). The menu rotates every day. Now, this is not gourmet. But this is lunch for $ 5. Even if you are a huge eater, there will be enough food shoved in that little styrofoam box to make you lazy and food-drunk your entire afternoon. My favorite so far was the curry chicken. It had maybe two whole potatoes, and two whole boneless skinless chicken thighs worth of succulent poultry-protein. And while it’s not the best I’ve ever had, it’s certainly not the worst. While you’re there getting your delicious food from what’s probably a health-code violation(waiting to happen), stock up on delicious canned Thai iced tea, yeast balls(to home brew sake, duh), and frozen dim sum.

Tims is one of the best luxuries of living in Homestead. It truly is a superstore for all things Asian. We have oriental markets all over South Florida, but none can hold a candle to Tims. The rarest products from all over Asia can be found here and conveniently broken down by aisle: Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Phillipines, Korean, etc… There are fridges and freezers full of frozen delicacies as well as fresh vegetables. And the main reason why it is my most frequented establishment in Homestead? They make hands down best Chinese food in South Dade. Period. It’s not your traditional Americanized deep fried, gravy or sugar sauced crap, but real deal traditional Chinese food. It’s incredible! And lunches are under five bucks for a ton of food. They usually cook four specials for lunch and the leftovers are then put out buffet style on a warming station to buy by the pound at night. If you love Asian food, Tims just can’t be beat.

If you are in search of anything oriental, Tim’s Grocery most likely has it! Their store never ceases to amaze me. They have many products that are currently known, as well as hundreds more that I’ve never even heard of in all shapes and sizes. They are stocked with just about everything you can imagine, from apparel to cooking utensils or fresh vegetables to fish. I love to go and just explore the store. Every time I go there is a greater variety than the previous visit and the employees are always happy to help.

I go here an average of once every two months. I believe its the largest oriental grocery store in south miami. There are larger stores in north east miami. It offers a good assortment of asian groceries and even a good variety of rice to choose from. The people are always friendly and the prices are competitive. The only negative thing i can think of is that on a couple of occasions i’ve come across a can of something that has passed its expiration date. To be fair its something you always have to watch for at small specialty grocers.

I was visiting the Everglades National Park and came to the store only to get their lunch offering to go. All meals are made to order by their cook inside the kitchen in the store and served with either fried rice, steam rice, or fired noodle. You only need browse at the menu posted in front of the kitchen and tell someone what you want. On the day I came, there were other dishes that they were not listed like the the chicken roll. The food was fresh and pretty good. They gave a lot of food, so it was a good value for your money.

There are tons of things here ranging from Chinese bok choy to Asian designed bowls and plates… from Pocky sticks to Ramune drinks. this place has pretty much everything you would need to prepare asian dishes. If you can’t find it. just ask! they even cook inside so you don’t even have to worry about making lunch or dinner… they also carry a wide selection of teas and instant noodles… sometimes you could spend hours in there just wondering what half the stuff is! :)

Great selection, great prices. I live in Key Largo and drive up to Tim’s just about every week. Satisfy your Asian snack food cravings! They have the sweet stuff like Hi-chew, Pocky, sesame and ginger candies and the savory stuff, too – fish and seaweed crackers, peanut snacks, and more. Like ramen? Phở? Kim chi? If you want it, then they probably have it!

ABSOLUTELY love it! I went two times, and both times, i spend hours there! Its a normal sized store, but it has sooooooo many things, that you can easily spend a good chunk of your time there. And if ever you go, buy the bottled soy milk. Soooooooooooooooooooo good. And only $ 1.47. :):)

Went to Tim’s today to pick up some Tahini sauce. Of course they have it! Just like every other odd item that you may need and can’t find anywhere else! My husband loves Tim’s. I think he could spend hours looking around that place. The people that work there are very helpful when you need any questions. Definitely go to Tim’s and check it out!!!

Tim’s is just wonderful and has everything you may need. I love Thai food and shop here as often as I can. I had been told it had closed and drove up from my home in the Key’s to make sure, but It’s still open. Thankfully.

they have kaffir lime leaves, need I say more??? the best asian grocery I have found in south florida. granted its far, I will not deny that. Go once in a while and stock up like I do. Not very well organized but the owners are incredibly helper. They have cooking supplies, including japanese knives which I am partial to. they have tons of diff. brands for the same ingredients which I like b/c, not being asian myself, I never know what to buy and I like to have options.
