The food quality at this Panera is seriously lacking in comparison to the other Panera’s I’ve been to in the past!

I love this Panera, and the previous bad reviews make me think, who are they talking about? I have never had anything but friendly, professional service. I go there once a week for an early morning meeting. The coffee is delicious and fresh, the iced green tea is absolutely wonderful, the (ancient grain, arugula chix salad) wOw, was it good! The people who serve in the morning are very attentive, and know my name, since I’m in there enough. The bathrooms are always clean and attended to and they have updated to accommodate online ordering.

I love that there is a Panera close to my work so I can get some lunch that is fairly healthy. Unfortunately, in the last few months this quality of service has gone down hill. My first bad experience was when my French Onion Soup was ice cold. I chalked it up to be freezing cold outside and my having to transport it, or just being an isolated incident. More recently I’ve had my pick up order not being ready on time, items missing from my pick up order, barely any salad dressing in the cups included in my salad, not following instructions on my order when they make it, and today I got Caesar dressing with a Greek Salad. It wasn’t too bad, but that is a mistake that shouldn’t have happened. I will continue to go to this location for my work lunches, occasionally, but the management needs to address mine and other peoples’ issues. If stuff like this happens again I know I’ll revisit my decision to keep getting food from this location.

Sorry to see the bad reviews for this location. Hasn’t been my experience. Staff has been courteous and my order correct. I’m alerted to any rewards on my card every time. My favorite order is the Sierra Turkey sandwich. My favorite pastry is the pecan braid(or twist) whatever it’s called. Never have an issue. My one complaint would be that they should clear empty tables faster.

I was here several months ago to get my comfort food fix. It was a cold wintery day so I ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese. First of all, the grilled cheese sandwich barely had any cheese on it and the bread had burned grill marks on it with little if any butter. It was very dry. Also the tomato soup tasted like it was out of a can. I don’t eat canned soup so I could actually taste the can. Unfortunately, I have never gone back to another Panera Bread since then.

I LOVE Panera Bread but this is probably my least favorite location that I’ve been too, which is sad because its the closest one too me and I try to avoid it whenever possible! The employees don’t really seem to care about what you order and don’t note any changes you want when you order it. So when you receive the wrong thing they act like you made the mistake and they didn’t. Just frustrating when you specifically ask for something to be made differently, especially because of food allergies, and they just disregard it as if you’re just trying to waste their time.

We get salads to pick up and take home from Panera in Homewood frequently and usually they are OK. The last time I got the salads home, I noticed that they only had bread for one salad(we ordered two salads) then we noticed that it had the wrong dressing(we ordered Cesar dressing for Cesar salads but got some kind of sour tasting poppyseed dressing or something). It was a similar color and my wife had already put the dressing on and started to eat the salad when she noticed. I had to drive back to Panera to exchange these salads for the corrected order. The manager only gave me a baguette and a hand shake for my trouble. When I got home my wife was sick from the first salad that she had tasted and was vomiting. It will be a long time before we go back to Panera again.

My fiancé and I have tried this location numerous times throughout the last year, and 9 our of 10 times there is a situation. Most times, our order is delivery differently than how it was ordered. The last few times the menu items have changed, they are on again and off again items, I tried ordering from their hidden menu and was told those items are no longer available? On my last visit, August 26, 2014 I ordered the Breakfast Power Sandwich, note: there are 2 items with that name on the menu… again??? It was hot, but very greasy and lathered in oil or butter. I ordered the Iced Green Tea-making the mistake it would be a green tea that is good for you. Not! It had 26 carbs and 26 grams of sugar for the medium drink, and no where was it disclosed that it is infused with mango. I would like my money back of $ 7.13 returned.

I have lived in the south and southwest suburbs all my life but never knew there was this Panera tucked into a strip mall in Homewood. I had to google it! I was coming from Quilt Guild in Glenwood and wanted to visit my 92 year old father in Park Forest and bring him lunch before heading back to Frankfort. This small but efficient Panera filled my order correctly and I was out the door in 15 minutes. My Dad liked his lunch and even stole my cookie which made me happy. If you look for it you will find this Panera!

I love Panera! I love this location as well. The Staff here are very friendly and they know me by face and sometimes by name. Everything here taste fresh, I never had a terrible experience here with the service or the food. The location is nice and the crowd is heaving during lunch time but definitely a place you would want to be during the hours of 6pm– to close. I love it there, and some of those guys there make the best sandwiches. I just want to take them home with me… only to make sandwiches.

The staff here is very friendly and efficient. Great baguettes and the chocolate pastries(chocolate croissaints) are addicting! Great place to relax with coffee and Kindle!

They could have put more avacados on my chopped chicken Cobb salad with avacados. Besides that, it was delicious, honestly one of the best salads I have had at a fast food place.

This location is rather slow, usually full to the gills, even after 6pm. I’d rather go to the one in Orland or Oak Lawn(105th street)

I attended a small meeting or interview(I am a new writer for , CHECKITOUT!!!) for a writer spot and the meeting was scheduled to last for an hour, but we stayed until this place closed! Yes we did we, S-H-U-T it down(literally, LOL) and the staff was very nice about our long stay. They just cleaned around us and I forgot to mention they never did tell us to get out. We looked up and noticed that it was time for them too close so yes I will be using this Panera for future meetings and by the way, I L-O-V-E that this location always have FRESH coffee!

My favorite Panera Bread location thus far(and I go to a lot of diff Panera Breads in the Chicagoland area). There is plenty of seating(esp near outlets) and great food that comes out quick. I go here a couple times every month to do work or to have small meetings.

Standard Panera food here. I love the steak salad with bleu cheese. The staff at this Panera is terrific. I’ve been on crutches for the last eight months and I come in here all the time. They’ve gone out of their way to help me carry stuff, dispose of garbage, you name it. I have really appreciated it. Try the chocolate chip cookies too. Delicious!

All I had was a blueberry muffin and a lemonade. The muffin was nothing to right home to mama about. Tasted like a regular olé’ muffin. Lemonade wasn’t that great either.

I dine at this Panera Bread at least twice a month. It is always a pleasant place to grab a bite to eat, regardless what time of day you’re there. The staff are friendly and getting your order is usually pretty fast — unless it’s during lunch hours — their busiest times of day. Lunch favorites include the signature Mac & Cheese, the Broccoli Cheddar soup and the Frontega Chicken sandwich. My all-time favorite menu item here is the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich. I wish they would serve this all the time! Alas, it is a breakfast-only item, so if you want to experience its deliciousness, you have to get there early. A nice place to grab a bite to eat, year-round. The only thing I would change is that the soda machine isn’t always set up correctly, and you wind up with an overly-syrupy beverage which you then have to dilute with water.(I fixed this by not drinking soda anymore, but it might bug those of you who need to get their lunch-time soda fix.)
