Very tummy place to eat. Breakfast is amazing and the staff are happy, friendly and fun. Absolutely try to get there for some breakfast. The seating is a little different, but still great. They are always busy but they seem to handle it very well. Go get breakfast!

New to the area so looking for good places to go to eat. Kim’s has very reasonable prices and good(not outstanding) breakfast.

Friday night fish fry… I returned to Kim’s because this is one of my father-in-law’s favorite restaurants. We came here on the all you can eat Friday fish fry dinner night. The place was packed! The fish was good. It was Alaskan pollock, so it was nothing gourmet. But it was fried nice and crispy and came with fries and slaw. The slaw was really good. The fries were okay. They were a bit too greasy for my liking. Our service was fine this time around. The waitresses are on the sassy side, especially if you are one of the regulars. This could probably be off-putting to some. I didn’t mind it. It provided some entertainment with my meal. I would come back here. The fish was really good. Next time, I would bring a bigger appetite. I couldn’t make it through more than one plate!

Fast service, good prices and food. Place is rather dirty, actually filthy. But would come back.

Another nearby, inexpensive diner that has great low prices. Breakfast just can’t be beat at their low prices, cheaper than making it myself(and better). Waitstaff is fun and it’s always good coming here for a meal.

This place is a hole in the wall. It needs to be updated. it hasn’t changed in years. I also wonder how often they clean it!

I have been a regular at Kim’s since it opened…(long time ago) The food is always good and the prices the best in town. Not easy to see or find from the Main Hwy,(Rt 19&98) but if you find the Hardees, it is right behind it in the shopping plaza. The wait staff are fun people that just know how to start your day with a smile!!! The wife and I love them all… great and personable people, that care that you leave happy. And the owner always makes it Right for you. It is a fun place for breakfast or lunch… only open Friday Nights for a great AUCE Fish Dinner.

Need a wuick, hearty breakfast? The staff at Kim will be happy to accomodate you. They are located close to Homosassa State park, so if you’re planning on exploring, fill your belly before going in, and know that you got a good deal. Our breakfast of omelette and grits and french toast with sausage and coffee cost us about $ 15. The service was quick and friendly and it was paxked, so you KNOW that it’s good.

Crazy good. Stopped in on way back to Tampa. Bean soup packed with flavor, grouper melt on rye was crispy, crunchy, gooey burn your tongue steaming, fries where bowling ally type super crispy outside soft and hot inside. Was cheap too. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked good and throwing off steam. We were gonna drive by, then an old guy sitting at an outside table yelled over, «this is a good place to eat!» He was certainly right…

We went for breakfast, the food was wonderful, our waitress was awesome. The atmosphere was so friendly and there were many«regulars» you could tell. Since it was Valentine’s Day, one«regular» came in with a single red rose for the entire staff. They each hugged and thanked him, it was so sweet to watch.

Kim’s was NOT located at the corner of U.S.19 and 98!!! Keep going north on 19(We had to stop and ask since Unilocal’s directions pinpoint them incorrectly!) about four miles. You will notice the Homosassa State Park on the left, then TURN left at the next light. Turn right into the shopping center! You will see Kim’s. Arrive before 1:45! The food was great, but the service and our welcome was even better! The staff is so friendly(especially our waitress, Lisa) we felt like we were long lost family! The portions were ample, and the load of fries was huge! Two sandwiches in baskets and drinks and it was all less that $ 7.00 each!!! Amazing! Well worth the trip, especially if you have the correct directions!

Small local diner style restaurant. We ate dinner there, but note, they are only open one night a week. If back in the area, I would try again, but for breakfast. We shared fried green tomatoes and onion rings as starters. For dinners, our group had burgers, fried fish and lemon pepper grouper. I had the grouper and felt the seasoning was too strong and overpowering. The seafood chowder was delicious. The prices are very reasonable, but the food was very fair. The service here is friendly and exceptional.

Great prices, fast service, diner food. The waitresses wear matching tee-shirts that say something like«If our food doesn’t meet your expectations, lower your standards.» Cute little place. Perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch.

My tummy and my wallet like this place. Friday at 2:00 we had all you can eat fish(pollock) served with sweet Cole slaw and FF, a grouper melt(grouper w/Cole slaw and grilled onions) served with FF, and chili Mac(chili over noodles smothered with cheese and onions) and tea. The bill was $ 21! I am stuffed and the two hungry men that came with me are in pain. The service was fast and friendly. I’ve got to go back for breakfast!

Driving back to Texas from Sarasota and the wife and I decided to stop for an early lunch. We were early enough to still grab a breakfast before they stopped serving for the day(11:30). I got the Northern Skillett, the wife got the Southern Lovers Plate. Both were excellent and cheap with more than we could eat. I felt like I was in a small town Texas diner. Thank goodness this is not close to my home or work or I’d eat there everyday and gain 100 pounds. We’ll definitely stop again next time we drive through. I am now stuffed and won’t need to eat until we stop for the night in Biloxi.
