I stopped in this nice little spot, there was a steady stream of locals visiting and chatting it up with each other. They have daily specials and a relatively standard menu with great prices. I ordered some tea and then I couldn’t resist some soup of the day. The choices were chicken and rice or bean and bacon. The bean and bacon was flavorful. I’m not a fan of wilted, un-​fried bacon so I just put some of the more fatty and less meaty pieces on the side. A wonderful addition was the local hot sauce that they keep on the table. I’d stop back in if I was in the area.
