Aire Conditioner Shoppe

Not helpful.
I submitted a question using their online message system and got the response «what do you want?» No indication of the company or anything. Continued to ask questions via email and got short one line answers. Never received full answers to my emails, so had to re-​email the questions that weren’t answered.
Decided not to do business with them due to poor customer service.
Plus the AC I bought previously broke already. It was NOT cheap. Would expect better product for the price.

I AM COMPLETELY APPALLED! I purchased an AC unit for $ 1300 in Aug and called in Nov to request service. My unit cuts in and I have concerns w/​its efficiency to cool a small apartment bedroom.
Neil YELLED at me, seriously he SCREAMED at me for calling. He first yelled at me because I couldn’t read the model number from the tech’s handwritten numbers/​letters. I informed him I was not an HVAC specialist and request he tone down his inquires as I’m only reading from my very expensive invoice.
My television was on and echoed during the call — as soon as he made me aware, I muted it; HOWEVER, this was not enough for him. For him, the only apparent solution was to continue LAMENTING me, even after I ask he stop or tell me what I’d done to put him in such a hostile stance. My inquires only lead to additional scolding and him hastily hanging up Again, completely appalled and in disbelief I was just SCREAMED at by this company’s «voice» to the public!
Fron Unilocal to Google the only reviews are how unprofessioanl and rude the guy who answers the phone is — WOW!
I’ve spent the last 26 yrs in Huamn Resources and this man has ABSOLUTELY ZERO customer service skills, manners or a concept of human decency towards others!

Gave Airshoppe 4 stars, best price in town. I was given heads up about dealing with Neil, owner, .Once we were on the same page everything went smoothly. Started with Monty and his crew arriving at job site on time. His three man crew were very professional. Each person had his job reponsiblty. I had a complete redo, which mean removing and replacing old Fujitsu split system and installing new one. Crew left site clean. No complaint there. I would recommend Air Shoppe to anyone considering installing a system. Only question is it warranty. Was quoted a ¹²⁄₁₂ year warranty on parts and compressor but no paper work received reflecting this.

Called for an estimate and got the rudest person ever… should have looked at Unilocal before calling as others have said the same.

Terrible customer service — sassy and curt! He could barely find the time to talk with me about my air conditioning problem. Told me to call back. Obviously, he doesn’t care about potential clients.

Very competitively priced and efficient crew. Installed our 3 units in ½ a day, complete with electrical. Neil is responsive and helpful when I had an issue with one of my a/​c units leaking.
Would highly recommend.

badda bing, badda boom… once you get past the brusque nyc tude, you really have a caring, helpful, and professional crew serving you… neil and his guys are on it… they are on time, under budget and go beyond the call to help you out… wish the other a/​c guys i contacted first even cared half of what these guys did…
