There is parking but, it’s tight or if you come the right time than your in luck! Ive been coming to Renae for over a year. I love the natural lash extension she does for me. Its not too much, I can literally wake up, nor have to put any make up on at all and people are always telling me I look like I do have make up on with my lashes and I know for a fact these buggahz can last in 60 mph of gushing winds. lol, went camping last year and I had just got them done. It was pouring rain, winds was hawling and we had to make due of our weekend, these lashes stayed on, lol!
Going to Renae is actually my relax zone. She has this nice comfortable environment when your all crazy n going one place to another that you simply can just STOP, take a break from the outside, close your eyes so she can beautify you, and literally fall asleep… sometimes I get tooo comfortable where I catch myself snoring and I wake up fast «ohhh so sorry Renae» but, you leave looking gorgeous and you leave relaxed! Renae is really great if you haven’t done it before.

I had my appointment with Renae today, and it was very nice! I’ve gotten my eyelashes done before, so I already had a clear idea of what I wanted and what to expect. She even offered a «skeleton view» of what the eyelashes would look like before she applied. The lashing process wasn’t unbearable, I fell asleep through most of it! My eyelashes look great and I am very happy I decided to come here.

Moved from Maui to Oahu. I was so desperate to get my lashes done. Went to my first lash experience here Oahu, I was really disappointment. Sent a message to Renae immediately and she responded quickly. :) She did an FANTASTIC job!!! She took great care of my lashes, she asked questions and made certain that I love what I see. I’m such a habitual eyelash addict thanks to her. She’s punctual, professional & so detail oriented. My lashes have never looked so good. Thanks to her, I can be makeup free! I have surfed the day after she applied the lashes on me & they’re durable and long lasting.
Parking’s free & ample and her store is always pristine :)

There are few things in life that I’m sure about… Renae is my sure thing. If you are looking for a lash girl, look no further. (Well, maybe you have to look on Google Maps to realize that she’s located in Nohea Studio near Pali Longs/​Safeway — best entrance to their parking lot is from Nuuanu Avenue.) Long story short, I’ve been around the block with getting lashes from the cheapie end (ouch the thought of their crappy glue is burning my eyes) to the super expensive (didn’t even want a receipt because I would poke my eyes out realizing that I just spent a whole outfit worth of cash on my eyelashes). I’d even come to the point of feeling like having my lashes done felt like torture — I felt fake, they didn’t look that nice, and I just wanted a good eye rub. So it’d been years since I had my lashes done and a few of go-​to girls, my hair stylist, Koren (check her out at Define Yourself on Unilocal) and my facial esthetician extraordinaire, Mel (yup, best facials are at Touch Mini Day Spa, no joke) both had REALLY nice lashes. Separately I asked them where they had their fab lashes done and wouldn’t you know it, they both said Renae!
So when my wedding events started creeping up, I thought I should get my lashes done by this awesome chic who does awesome work whoever she is. Well, wouldn’t you know it, she does appointments via text (LOVE!), sends me reminder texts the day before (LOVE!), doesn’t charge an arm and a leg (LOVE!), is really chill and laidback (LOVE!), listens to what her clients want and need (LOVE!), and is a master of her craft (LOVE LOVE LOVE!). I am in love with Renae’s work and I have been satisfied every single time I’ve seen her. The glue does not burn (no formaldehyde here from the cheapie glue, ladies!), the lashes feel like your normal lashes (not heavy or crazy looking) and Renae is meticulous and totally professional. (Even Mel who does my facials said she’s seen many of girls pass through her spa (trust me, girls, she’s seen some cray cray lash jobs), but every time she sees beautiful lashes, she always asks where they get their lashes done and it’s always Renae’s work. True story.)
I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to Renae that every morning I can wake up and look at myself in the mirror and think, «No makeup, no problem.» Having beautiful, natural looking lashes now is simply magic for my face. (So magical that I told her it’s about time for her to have her own location on Unilocal… most of her reviews have been smooshed with Nohea Studio who BTW rocks, too.) Yes, this is a LOVE fest for Renae and I’m not apologizing. You won’t regret it and you won’t break the bank either… nor will you need a good eye rub anymore haha!
