Had a great first time experience at Face it! Edine who did my consultation made me feel very comfortable & explained things with clear details & genuine concern &care of what would be my best options for removing a previous cosmetic tattoo& discolored ink. Afterwards she set me an appointment with Shannen for my Eyebrows to be done & Shannen was amazing! She used a ruler for measuring & really included me in the process. she asked me more than a few times to check mirror & to see how I liked it, and if I saw anything off she told me to let her know. Very humble staff& treat you with a lot of care. My eyebrows are still healing but look great & also they supply you with a free touch up in 6 weeks after your first appointment.& give you 3yrs to come back to retouch for only 150 $. You can’t find this kind of service in most places so I definitely recommend it if your looking and never have gotten cosmetic tattooing. When it comes to your face you want to feel confident the person working on you has your best interest in mind & is skilled in their craft… I believe you will find it @Face It & have a great experience as I have had.

Over priced, and the scar camouflage she did… didn’t work. I arrived 15 min early to my appt, she didn’t start working on me until another hour that didn’t include the numbing time. The camouflage itself is maybe a dime shape, costed me $ 400, it peeled off 2 days later. i found a permanent make up artist in my area who only charged me $ 250 and provides better service!

A good friend told me (a long time ago) to look at myself in a photograph — it appeared that I had no facial expression because my eyebrows were very faint. At that time, I was an avid volleyball player, and try as I might to draw in eyebrows with a pencil, my perspiration and oily skin would melt off any makeup. Not one to waste time, money, and effort, I turned to permanent makeup.
Yes, I had my eyebrows tatooed on 3 times already. Each time faded and was uncomfortable (swelling) as the healing (itching) process takes a while. This 4^th time was done by Charnae — she is very good. Her patience, explanation, suggestions, and attention to detail all helped to make this a successful and good experience.
Charnae even did my eyeliner. It includes a touch up 4 to 8 weeks later. (The eyebrows also include a touchup.) I had put off redoing the eyeliner for a long time because the first time I did it was very painful. This time wasn’t so bad. We discussed thickness, color, shape, and length of the line — it turned out great!
This Ward Avenue location is convenient with free parking. It’s across the street from Sports Authority — just park in the lot for Super Cuts. Go upstairs and down the hall on the left. The Center is very clean and comfortable. You can watch tv for half an hour before the numbing agent takes effect for the eyebrows. The eyeliner can be done right away.
I really appreciate Face It because they always managed to fit me into their busy schedule. When I decide on something, I usually have to do it right away before I change my mind or chicken out!

Had my eyeliner done 9 years ago on the mainland and it hurt, A LOT! However, I decided it was time for a re-​do. After doing my research, I booked with Charnae at the Ward location. She is a true professional and listened to what I wanted. She gave me options and educated me a bit on her certification, schooling and experience as well as what to expect and what was realistic. The numbing cream she used on my eyelids was AMAZING! I mostly just felt pressure. She explained everything and showed me how everything was sterilized/​new. I experienced a little swelling after but was able to go to work the next day and got a ton of compliments :) I went for a touch up 5 weeks later to make it a little thicker, at Aiea location and was just as pleased with my results and Charnae. I’m thinking of doing my lips next.

I had my eye brow and eye liner done a couple of years ago in aiea location. I recently went back to do touchup in Ward location because it was conveniant. I must say again that I am happy with the results of my eyebrow touch up! Edine was nice and friendly and my expired Unilocal deal was honored at the price I bought the deal. I will definitely come back to get touch up in a couple of years…

Best place hands down! Edine has the highest standards. I went to Edine for brows & eyeliner first, then came back to have lip fade. Minimal pain, great results & it’s been such a time saver! It’s like having your make-​up done for you professionally everyday! I returned 1.5 yrs later for touchup just to get refreshed. Always professional.

Better late than never…
I went to Face It last year to get my brows done. I’ve heard so many good things about Face It from different people, and the photos on their website looked really good, so I decided to check it out. Lucky for me, there was a Living Social Deal for them, so I pounced on that opportunity and scheduled my free consultation with them.
Originally, I wanted to get my brows and eye liner done at the same time. Everyday drawing in my brows and eyeliner takes up so much time, this seemed like the opportune thing to do. My initial consultation was with Josalyn. She was very informative and eased my mind about doing this. I decided not to do my eye liner since I recently got Lasik, so I scheduled my session for my brows with her.
She drew my brows perfectly and the shade (albeit dark at first) healed nicely and perfectly. When I went back for my followup, I decided that I wanted my brows a smidgen thicker. She let me know that parts of my brow wouldn’t be as dark as the original session, and I was fine with that.
I’m completely healed now, and totally love not having to start from scratch every morning. I still draw over my brows to make the shade a bit darker, but not having to shape it daily, saves me so much time. I’m planning on getting the lash enhancement from them next! So very excited!

This place gets 5 stars in my opinion. I have been searching for a tattoo place that has a great reputation and happy customer. So for two years I followed this business and to my surprise they also now have a second location near Ward warehouse. I have no tattoo and so this was my very first experience and I was SCARED…
The staff are so wonderful and make you feel comfortable and explain exactly what they are going to do step by step and the owner who did my top eyeliner tattoo made sure that I didn’t feel any pain. She is amazing!
I’m so happy with my eyeliner that I plan on going back to get my eye brows done! I highly recommend this place if you need touch up work or a new makeup tattoo done.

Mahalo to Edine for the excellent correction she performed on the color and shape of my eyebrows and eyeliner. I’d been to other permanent makeup salons and was not happy with the work as time went on. Had my eyebrows done a few weeks ago, and came in today for a followup/​retouch. Came in today and was told I wasnt on the schedule :(When I know for sure who i spoke with, and when I spoke with them. Thank goodness the owner, Edine, was working because she KINDLY offered to do it for me ^_​_​^. I’m not deducting any stars for the mix up because I also schedule appt for a doctor’s office and I know sometimes it just happens, human error. I must say though, I’ve always been given such great customer service! 5 stars for the friendliest, clean, and awsome service! I love my brows!

Got my eyebrows and eyeliner tattooed by Josalyn and she did a wonderful job! My friends, family and coworkers are amazed that it looked so natural. My mornings are less stressful because I don’t have to spend too much time with my makeup. I got my eyebrows and eyeliner from another place years ago but my skin didn’t take the ink so I pretty much wasted my money. Josalyn was very patient with me, she explained in detail what she was going to do and made sure I was ok at all times. She eased my anxiety and I trusted her knowing that this is her profession. I am a nurse by profession and throughout my career sometimes you just got to learn to leave it to the experts. Just want to end this review with a quote from Bill Gates, «Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.» More power to Face It and to you Josalyn!!!

I saw Edine here today, at her new Ward location (free parking), for eyebrow tattoo touch-​up. She did my brows, at the Aiea location, six weeks ago. I was so happy to hear that she was here now because it is closer to my home.
Edine is excellent– a perfectionist who aims to please. She will meet with you to discuss your options and pricing. Keep in mind that she has two locations and has a waiting list, so book in-​advance. I love my brows and wouldn’t trust anyone else!
I have a long history with Edine. I originally came to her to correct and remove another place’s mistake. It was a nightmare and took time to correct. Thank goodness I met her. I love my brows and eyeliner now. I am very picky, so I like to have touch-​up done once a year. I am at that «special» age where the color doesn’t stay as vibrant as long as I like it to.
BTW– Edine has «master» prices. She has other people that work for her too, if you are on a budget.
