I have been to fusions many many times. I used to come here with my gay best friend almost every Saturday. This club is very OKAY. Drinks are okay, location is good, and the set up of the club(the fact that it has 2 levels) is cool. But they don’t seem to maintain the club well. One of the biggest things is that the furniture needs to be replaced as a lot of the stools have tears/stains on it. other things are just kinda gross and need to be cleaned or replaced. The couches as well need to be replaced. Usually the downstairs has more EDM music andthe upstairs has more hiphop/pop music. I usually like that and the fact that they’re open till 4 every night im pretty sure is the biggest way they make their business. Only on Fridays and Saturdays they have both levels open though. Every other night it’s just the downstairs. $ 5 on Fridays and Saturday’s and other nights I’m pretty sure it’s free. I think. From what I remember lol. Their bathrooms need some better maintaining for sure. Fusions isn’t exactly my club of choice but when you’re hammered at 1 or 2 am it’s an alright place to get turnt up. BECAREFUL though. My phone got stolen here once. Really sketchy people come here sometimes. Make sure you watch your stuff and keep an eye on your friends. ALSO don’t stick around the back area of the club afterwards(by alley cats). Only if you wanna run into some really trashed people stick around, otherwise get into your cab asap. It’s just pretty sketchy around that area. I can’t comment on the drag show since I’ve never been here before 1am lol. OVERALL: Setup of the club is cool but I feel like they just need to renovate the place more. Too many things falling apart. Employees are nice though except for the bouncers/cashiers in the front. Not very friendly. But then again most bouncers aren’t.

When did Fusion become a lesbian bar? And $ 10 cover? Really!!! Lame! I will never come back here.

2nd time in a gay bar with my first being in Vegas. It’s like comparing an ant to a elephant. Not pretty! $ 10 cover for a deader than dead place even at 12:30 am on a Friday night. Their strippers were pretty just meh and only danced for a little while. The emcee said they were gonna roam around but only went around a little and were kinda old and then stopped. Even their bartenders were a little old. The only redeeming place was their last stripper Anthony who was somewhat good but even then he only went to a few people. People started coming off after 2 since all the other bars we’re closed but by that time I left already and never looked back twice. They were also not time conscious since I only went there for the male revue which started 20mins late.

Coming from the NYC/CT area, this is not the best gay bar I’ve ever been to, and yet a good time can be had here. The drinks were strong and our waitress was very nice. We dropped by on a Friday night for the drag show, which was fun. I so wish we knew about the male strip show beforehand, so we could have skipped out. The worst male strippers on the planet! Just gross. Tip, the music at the gay bar next door was 10x better!

Drag queens… They are pretty much history… Surcharge for being an American citizen yet not a local of Hawaii, expect to be surcharged!!! Unilocal this is a negative 10 stars!!!

It’s two in the morning, I’m in Waikiki and still up. Where do my gay friends and I decide to go? That’s right. Fusions is open till 4am! They’re above another dive bar(called Tsunamis now 8⁄13), and the sister club of Lojax right next door(they close at 2am). I like it here because there’s a dance floor, with people dancing! It’s a miracle to see people actually having fun instead of being lame sippin drinks on the side. But slight warning: Your eyes may get twerked on. I actually haven’t gotten a drink here, so can’t comment on that. It’s the place I got to when I’m already feeling good and just want to dance before going home. I think this venue is best for those situations. I never come here before 1am at earliest. On weekends they charge like a $ 5 cover. That’s the only bummer. But if you want to keep the party going, there are no options that will be cover free and in Waikiki. So if you don’t mind the gay scene, enjoy the strobing lights and sticky dance floor here till you’re ready to pass the eff out.

My coworker took me to this gay bar… apparently this is one of the most famous gay bars in Waikiki area. To me the interior looked pretty much rundown. It is $ 10 to get inside for drag queen show(10am) and male strip show(1am). $ 10 would cover both shows. They are a few good looking drag queens working at this place and they keep them behind the curtain till the very end. They are worth watching but other than those few… I would say skip. For the male strip show, the guys who are working there are kind of old I would say. And they all look the same type of look, which was not my type for sure. I did have fun at this place somewhat since it was my first time at a drag queen and a male strip show. Would I go back… No.

I have had the craziest most F*&# up nights at Fusions. Pretty sure that the bartenders there just want everyone to get wasted, because the drinks there are ridiculously and sometimes way too strong. Fusion’s is a lot of fun if you are with the right group of friends. There is always some form of eye-candy there, and the music is pretty good on most nights. Cons: Door fee on Friday and Saturday is $ 10 for out-of-state SMELLS(sometimes) Management is not always friendly. Creepers(can I say that on Unilocal?)

I think the only bad thing I have to say about Fusion is their bathrooms. Needs a lot of work and renovation. Other than that, I super love the place, mainly because of the vibe. This bar is located on the second floor and has an additional floor for dancing. The people are beautiful and a lot more people than I’ve remembered. Since moving away from the islands, I seem to really enjoy my time at Fusions when I visit. Everyone is super cool and chill. The great plus about this place is that it’s open until 4am. I LOVE that, being from Vegas. Be sure to visit this cool club when you’re in the area.

I took my sister to Fusion Waikiki on the first night(Saturday) we arrived in Oahu. Although we were jet lagged and very sleepy(5 hour difference), we both had a fantastic time watching the drag show. The show starts at 9:45pm, and ends a little before 12am. Fusion requires you to order a minimum of 2 drinks during the show. Drinks may be a bit expensive, but coming from NYC I thought the prices were about the same. Don’t let the costs of the drinks discourage you because coming here just to watch the show is totally worth it! It was so entertaining! It was the best drag show I have ever watched in my entire life, and I have watched a few. The show in Fusion makes the ones in NYC look really bad. The performers were very talented, beautiful(I thought some were really a woman), energetic, interactive, and danced very well. One performer sang beautifully; her voice was like Whitney Houston. And, the MC that night was very entertaining and funny. Fusion Waikiki rocks! :) Highly Recommended!

This is the end up with no memory. Before 1 a.m., it’s littered with drag queens doing their MC bit and washed up and out strippers in and out of stolen hotel robes. After 1 a.m. the crowds from all the other bars pack it in. You’ll find 20-somethings all drunk, wandering strippers, hunters, drag queens, trannies, straights, lost straights, wing-men, stag hags, fag hags, local boys, no surfers, twinks, loud followers of drag queens, and random ex-boyfriends whose Richards don’t seem so much of a loss anymore. It isn’t pretty. I’ve been going for a decade now and the place hasn’t changed, it’s guts are as black as the lungs of its patrons and just as dirty. I like it that way. The drinks aren’t cheap, but they aren’t any more expensive than any other gay bar. Use the straws. Smoke out back with all the hip tranny faces, not in the front street with all the drunken tourists. If you’re interesting, contact me. If you’re cute, don’t bother. Suck good Richard, always.

Synopsis: 2AM until 4AM only. Go before that for the male revue will make you throw up! All the times I have been, they were OLDER and made me hurl. Drinks are not that special. Good feature is that they have two floors: First floor for more electronic, trance and second floor for hip-hop, contemporary music. You will have a good time until 4AM. Environment: The first floor has mirrors, but haven’t really seen people looking into them while dancing, unlike Lojax(formerly known as Angles). First floor has seats and tables, which aren’t very comfortable. Second floor is where the comfortable seats are. And if you’re a pervert like me, you can watch people on the dance floor from the seats. YEA!!! People: Again, various amount of people. Definitely found people who were on the older side(currently 23). People who come are mostly already drunk and are more willing to think you’re cute(that is if you’re ugly), so down-to-pound chances are a lot higher. GOODLUCK! ^_^. Military gets in for free(from what I hear). Cost: $ 5, not too shabby! Still WAY better than Bar 7! Drinks: Eh… just like any other place. I suggest getting to know one of the bartenders, or find someone who does to get bettah dealz! Parking: Horrific! It’s Waikiki for gods-sake!

FUSIONSON A FRIDAYNIGHTISWHATSUP! Let me start off with THEBARKNOWSHOWTOMAKEDRINKS! One to many times have I been to bars that dont know what the hell theyre doing. Fusions bartenders will take care of you in the drunk department, thats for sure. The music is decent on both dance floors(upstairs and downstairs). Upstairs usually plays hip hop, while downs stairs place trance, house, and electro. The crowd is pretty MERRY, but what do you expect from us right? =P Definitely should consider remodeling, but for now… she go! FYI parking is a bitch and there is a cover charge.

The only venue open till 4am. Cheap $ 5 cover. Drinks priced pretty reasonably. 2-levels, 2 dancefloors/genres. It’s pretty dirty inside. Black paint everywhere. Very dark, gloomy & lit with colored lights over the tables. There’s usually a drag show Friday nights about 9p and go-go boys Saturday nights around 9p as well. Doesn’t get crowded till after 2am. It used to get extremely packed around 2:30/3am but not any more. Staff are friendly. Don’t piss off aunty who collects money! ;)

I would definitely classify Fusions as one of those really dark, sketchy places where you’ll end up being abducted by some creepy geezer if you’re not careful. The place is a little ghetto, but you can’t really expect much else from gay nightlife in Hawaii. I will say this place plays great music ranging from Hip-Hop/Rap to Dance. The bottom floor trends to Dance, the top floor plays Hip-Hop. Fusions is the last stop on my list of places to go on Friday/Saturday nights,(it’s the same with other locals too) and it closes at 4am. ***Suggestion: Don’t come here before midnight, and be super nice to the bouncers. PROS: Great place to dance. Drinks are decent and moderately priced. Bartenders are nice. Cheap $ 5 cover, awesome music, crowded after midnight. CONS: Don’t piss off the bouncers, they can be very antagonistic, parking nearby is very expensive, and bathrooms are a bit cramped.

This was the dumpiest bar I’ve been to in Honolulu, and ranks up(down) there amongst the worst I’ve been to in the world. You can just tell that the people who own/run it simply don’t care. There is no attention to detail in anything that’s done there… the walls are caked up with multiple layers of sloppily coated paint… the floors were dirty. Nothing was done for aesthetic purposes. It’s a gay bar, yet the gogos were doting on the women all night and ignoring the men. The music? So-so. The venue? Crap. Oh, did I mention that someone threw up in the stairwell at 1am? Not the bar’s fault. Did I mention that vomit was still there at 4am? Not okay. Just not okay. The bartenders were friendly, they were making the best of a bad situation. It was a Saturday night and it was REALLY dead here. Rumour has it that there was a house party somewhere that everyone opted into. Doesn’t surprise me that, given another option, people would go just about anywhere else. Abyssmal.
