This shop is great for anyone looking to add a bohemian statement piece to her (or his) collection. Cindy is an amazing designer, creator, and salesperson — you’ll always find her in her shop. I’ve picked up multiple gifts for friends, family and myself. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with service and always have a great retail experience thanks to Cindy! All pieces of jewelry are handmade, thoughtfully priced and are each unique pieces of art. Other than jewelry, you’ll find hand-​selected teas, fragrances, body mists, candles, cacti, notecards, clutches, lipsticks and more! Ginger13 is your one stop shop for gifts for your friends, family and yourself!

Located in Chinatown, off the corner of Mark’s Garage, across the street from the Hawaii Theater. This little boutique shop has everything from jewelry to potted succulents to cute stationery paper. I first heard of this little gem off of someone’s Instagram post and instantly fell in love with the chunky necklace the girl was wearing. Seeing she tagged where she bought her necklace from, I then started looking on Ginger13’s IG page. Let’s just say I became even more obsessed with Ginger13’s jewelry lol.
Feeling determined to check out their store in Chinatown, I finally made my first visit to her store on Small Business Saturday where they were offering 25% off your entire purchase. As soon as I entered, the sales associate greeted me right away. She was super friendly and told me about their promo for the day. And when Cindy, the store owner and designer came up front, she introduced me to her. Cindy was super friendly too. She told me about how she started this love for abstract designing about 11 years ago and opened up this shop about 2 years ago. Both Cindy and her sales associate were super helpful when it came to picking out a necklace. I knew I wanted a chunky necklace, but feared it wouldn’t match me as I’m more of a subtle jewelry type person. But she let me try it on and I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful it looked on me. There were so many different types of rocks, colors and style, it was really hard to choose one. I wish I could buy them all, but the style I was looking at ranged in the mid-​$ 90s :/​It’s pricey, but you can just see the love that goes into every single jewelry that Cindy makes and it really is a work-​of-​art.
After looking through the entire store and with the sales associates help on letting me try on other styles and her useful advices, I finally found the necklace I wanted. Cindy advised me that she can always change the length on the chain if I ever needed to even after my purchase. The regular price for my long-​chain chunky necklace was $ 98, but with their Small Business Saturday promo, I only spent about $ 77. Awesome Sauce!
I wish I wasn’t sooooooo addicted and obsessed with Cindy’s jewelry, but I’m sure I’ll be back, spending more money LOL. Be sure to follow her on IG as that’s where she lets her customers know of any sales that may be coming up. She also has a website where you can purchase her jewelry

Beautiful jewelry boutique in the hip and upcoming China Town district. I bought a pair of earrings and a necklace here. I ALWAYS get compliments when wearing my pieces. The owner was friendly and very patient with me while I took my sweet time to peruse the fine collection. She even cut the chain on my necklace so that it was the right length for me. Cool! Jewelry here is affordable, designer, and unique. You MUST go here!

Ginger13 is AWESOME! The owner Cindy’s beautifully curated shop captures the essence of island style with elements of edge, sophistication, and elegance infused into the myriad pieces. You can find something for anyone here. Ginger13 is my go to spot for gifts, or even just those days when I need a pick me up. Cindy uses exquisite materials to make some of the most unique pieces you will find on the island, and her service is the best. A lovely shopping experience. One of my favorite stops.

This is the most wonderful gift shop! Cindy creates beautiful jewelry and has plants, cards, hand lotion… so many great gift ideas. Her wrapping is a work of art. Customer service is outstanding, prices are reasonable, items are unique and fun.

Truly unique jewelry. Lots of bold statement pieces and some daintier fare, so covers a broad range of tastes and appropriate for a variety of events/​occasions (work appropriate to clubbing to a fancy date night). I own a few pieces from Ginger13 and have gotten some nice compliments on them. Cute store with a really personable owner. You feel welcome from start to finish. The store stocks cool gifts too, like succulent plants, cards, soaps and such. Not a ton of parking available sometimes, but that’s a typical Chinatown issue. I totally recommend for those looking for a unique gift or a fun item for their own collection.

Ginger13 is a cute shop in Chinatown with mostly jewelry, but they also have a random assortment of other things like toiletries, succulents (?!), and décor. I came here during Downtown Shop Around, a shopping «happy hour» that took place during the holidays in which various downtown shops had special discounts. Ginger13 was one of the many participants, and they offered a 20% off discount. Their items are pretty pricey; but with the discount they weren’t so bad. I ended up buying Christmas presents for friends, including some earrings, hand cream, and a bracelet. They all loved their gifts, so check this place out if you need gift ideas.

The Shopping Gods must have heard my prayers because a Ginger13 store now sits right on S. Pauahi St — a mere 3 blocks from my office! If there was ever a reason to skip lunch and take a stroll down the street, Ginger13 is it! I have been a HUGE fan of Ginger13 for awhile and was constantly searching for her pieces in boutiques and at craft fairs. Now, it is even simpler! And accessible! And dangerous for my self-​restraint…
Everything, from bracelets and necklaces to potted succulents, is gorgeous and crafted with the greatest care and attention to detail. The store, located right next to House of Aria and surrounded by other famous downtown boutiques, is spacious and inviting. I excitedly stopped by at the grand opening a few weeks ago and loved how each piece was displayed! Shopping there is definitely a luxurious experience!
