Racist practices — please boycott this business. Had an experience here tonight(4⁄18) I know well from teaching in Hawaii public schools. You are the one customer in line(me, haole/mainland-looking guy) and there’s a local customer at the counter, 2 local guys behind the counter. After his purchase, they sit there and talk story for minute after minute after minute, deliberately ignoring you. yes, your intution is right: they know you are there, they know you are frustrated, and they are enjoying it. g It’s classic Hawaiian passive-agressivity, and it boils down to RACISM pure and simple. AVOID.

I walked in to get one of the healthier energy drinks and I totally got more than I asked for when the gentleman working(David I believe) helped me. He gave me some health advice about these products, and even a few free samples of some good pre-workout. It was quite simply the friendly demeanor of David that has me knowing that I will comeback to this store and GNC for my health product needs! Aloha David!

This GNC is a tiny sliver-sized version of your average GNC, but the high-profile location right on the strip means that rent is at a premium. They seem to have a regular selection, just a limited amount of each item. Unlike other GNC locations that I’m familiar with, this GNC doesn’t sell individual packets of Emergen-C(which is what I went in for). That kind of sucks, especially since this location is most suited to serve tourists. What tourist is going to want a whole box of the stuff?! They do have these new«Emergen-C Shots» that are little pre-mixed immune boosters. Frankly, I’d rather pay $.99 for a packet than $ 2.99 for a mixed packet, but I can see why they like this new racket. Especially at such a high-rent location. Friendly employees, convenient location to Waikiki hotels, and the answer to your vitamin C needs makes this a must stop when you’re in need. A three-star«A-OK» sounds about right to me.
